Error xerces panic!

I used the first elements 3.0 and did not open for awhile and when I did I got error Xerces panic.  I uninstalled it because I was going to move anyway to 7.  Had a friend help me to do a registry clean to try to get rid of bad entries like said in other forums.  Installs 7, it took all night and now I can't always opens... same error message.  Everyone get this error?

Hi a little new to this. But I just bought this mac from a friend. And a bit confused as to why it reboots randomly with a panic error. It's not very often, however.

I wiped and installed fresh 10.11.4, with no time restored machine in the it.

I've had it for a day and there were 3 panic since.

    Here is the report.

  • ESXi v3.5 - PANIC: error reading from file: state .tgz-5

    Hello.

Recently, suffered a power outage that caused a stop.  After the reboot, I get the following error:

PANIC: Error reading from file: state .tgz-5

As it is a recent construction, I did have the chance to perform a backup, a restore is not possible.  Run a repair had no effect.  Is there anything else I can do to get it back?

    Thanks in advance.

    CJ.

try running this command in ESX console #fdisk-l and check if there is any partition VMFS (fb) detected.

  • panic cannot open vpxa.vgz

    Hello!

I'm just 1 month ago installated Esxi 4.1. But today my server cannot start. Information about the error so panic cannot open vpxa.vgz. This problem to find out how to fix. Help me

You start from the ESXi installation CD and one of the repair options (just don't choose the installation option).  Once the repair has been completed, you can reconnect to your host (you can first must set the management IP address).  If your installation contained disc one data store, you can browse to find your existing virtual machines.  Right-click on the VMX files and select Add to the inventory.  If you use iSCSI / NFS, you will have to install the access to this storage again.  Just do a rescan storage to find existing data warehouses. Have you applied a patch for ESXi at some point?  If so, you can restart, press SHIFT + R on the initial boot loader screen, and choose to boot from the earlier version.  Any config changes since the latest patch has disappeared, but for new virtual machines, you will just have to add them to the inventory as described above.

Please read OS X: when spontaneously, your computer restarts or displays 'your computer restarted because of a problem'.

The section "isolate hardware or software as the cause of the problem", starting with step 3, would be very beneficial to the advancement of troubleshooting.

  • Mac Mini (late 2012) "stall".

    Hello!

In our school district we have 33 Mac Mini Late 2012 running in cache servers 24/7.

All servers have the same stock, same OSX 10.11.3 configuration loaded, no 3rd party or peripheral extensions connected. 30 servers work very well, but 3 mini 'freeze' intermittently once in a few weeks. It happened because they were purchased. I thought it might happen due to software bugs and memory leaks, but we went from OSX 10.9, 10.10 and 10.11 and the problem still there. I tried to replace and upgrade RAM, reloading software from scratch several times - the problem remains. We ran extensive hardware diagnosis of ASD in AST, both OSX and EFI, a loop for 24 hours - all the tests of transmitted material.

From time to time the servers stop responding to SSH and remote desktop. When I go to the site and look at the computer - it's running hot to the touch, screen wakes up but watch spinning wheel as when it's stop, keyboard and mouse enter ignored. I have to force it to stop, then it boots fine. I can't find a source of problem looking in the logs, finally the log messages before it "not won" natural look, no error or panic kernal, nothing fancy. Mini Mac just a sort of loop software and never gets. I tried to program computers at the stop for the night to cool down and have a new start every day, but that did not help either.

On one of the servers 'bad' I erased the HD, installed 10.11.3 clean and Seti@Home to test under load - all cores of CPU and GPU are loaded to 100%, mini gets hot, but it didn't make the problem worse or better - mini seeps into the State "unhooked" with a wheel that rotates once in a 2-3 weeks.

Someone there had similar question? All suggestions will be welcome. At this point the only solution I see is to replace the logic board, but it costs about $600.

When you find the problem, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

Run the Console application in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

The title of the Console window should be all Messages. If it isn't, select

SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ all Messages

in the list of logs on the left. If you don't see this list, select

List of newspapers seen ▹ display

in the menu at the top of the screen bar.

Each message in the journal begins with the date and time when it was entered. Highlight date back to the time you noted above.

Select the messages entered since then until the end of the episode, or until they begin to repeat, whichever comes first.

Copy messages to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command + V.

The journal contains a large amount of information, almost all this is useless to solve any particular problem. When you post a journal excerpt, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

When you post the journal excerpt, an error message may appear on the web page: "you include content in your post that is not allowed", or "the message contains invalid characters." It's a bug in the forum software. Thanks for posting the text on Pastebin, then post here a link to the page you created.

  • AddIndex problem on replicas

    Hello

    My application uses two knots, a master of the bdb and the other is slave. My version of dbxml is linux/2.4.14. The flag is DB_THREAD | DB_INIT_LOCK | DB_INIT_LOG | DB_INIT_MPOOL | DB_INIT_TXN | DB_RECOVER | DB_CREATE | DB_PRIVATE.

I stop the application on the first node, then the second request become a master. What is expected.

Then I add an index (using dbxml without transaction) to the container on the first node. New documents are inserted into the container to the second node. Then I try to restart the application to the first node, but it fails. I got an error: BDB: PANIC: error fatal region detected; run recovery. The error can easily be duplicated. Even if I run db_recover - c - h. /, it still does not work.

How to add an index for containers in the workplace master/replica (slave)?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Hua.
    >

My version of bdb is db4.7.25 with all the patches. My application uses DB_PRIVATE.

You use dbxml shell to add the index? In my case, dbxml shell doen't always work.

Yes. I think that dbxml shell does not support environment replicates in this version. You can dig into src/utils/shell/dbxmlsh.cpp, modify the code for your special use, re - compile the dbxml shell and try again.

    >

Then I wrote a program with c++ API addindex, also using the DB_INIT_REP flag. This works. But I got to stop master and replica first before I can add indexes by using the program.

I have try to add indexes in master and it works. Please make sure that:
    1. ALL PART of your operations are protected by an EXPLICIT transaction.
    2. protect your transactions by try & catch blocks and try to make sense again. Exit the caught exception can help you see this error message occurs.

If I stop at one of them (say, stop the master and keep slaves running), index can be added successfully to master, but then be removed from maser automatically after restart of the master. Is this reasonable?

In fact you can NOT add indexes on slave. And what happens is reasonable: the captain joined the network, failed in the election and need to sync with the new master (the previous slave). If the index you inserted is removed.

    Thank you
    Rucong

  • Can someone decode this for me kernel panic error message please?

I had some problems recently with my 13 "MacBook Pro, Early 2011. I was able to resolve most of them between the forums and the Genius Bar, but there is still a persistent that even the Genius Bar can't seem to understand. Often, my computer freezes and restarts itself, and recently I had the window "your computer restarted due to a problem". I know kernel panic can be software or hardware related. I just wiped my hard drive (third-party SSD), reinstalled the OS X and restored from a Time Machine backup (but doesn't not restore any network or personal settings, as I was told by the Genius Bar help ensure no bugs/corruptions that affected my machine were installed). A complete hardware and software diagnostic was managed by Apple, where the only problem they found was that they could not read my hard drive and I have recommended replacing the hard drive slick, that I had let them. However, my problem: I have yet to have another random reboot with the new cable, but I am always starting gel, delay and slow speeds. I understood the message of the most recent kernel panic error, but I have little idea how do make sense. If someone could decode it for me and let me know what you think caused the kernel panic, I would be grateful!

Quick notes (it may or may not be useful): I also installed new third-party RAM me, updated 4-8 GB. I also have problems taking videos on Photo Booth. When I do, app causes my computer to lag, and the video does not correctly record (late of video development, multicolor screen during playback, not only audio video, etc.). Check the video card came back clean well.

I'm not sure regarding the panic itself 100%, but the symptoms you describe, I'll try to put first the original RAM if you, as a test. Also try a SMC reset: reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac - Apple Support.

  • How to fix the error message: xerces.dll is missing

You try to view a dvd, but when I go to play the dvd, I get an error message: xerces.dll is missing.  How can I solve this problem?

    Hello

    1. what operating system do you use?
2 are there any changes or updates made on the computer?
    3. are you able to read the DVD by cancelling the error message?
4 is the issue limited only when you try to play the DVD?

Try to play the DVD on another computer and check.

Xerces.dll error message can be caused by corruption in the Windows System.

Check out the link to use the System File Checker (SFC) tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files in Windows 7.

SFC/scannow is a very useful command that you can use in any version of Windows. When the SFC (System File Checker) command is used with the/scannow switch, the tool analyzes all the important files of Windows on your computer and replace if necessary.

Missing and the corruption of the operating system (like many DLLs) files are probably the main cause of the major problems of Windows. In view of this, plus the fact that the SFC /scannnow is completely automatic and very easy to use, the tool should usually be your first troubleshooting step.

  • MacBook Pro Panic error - will not start

I'm getting the following at the start. Have no idea what it is or what to do. Appreciate any advice.  Backup the latest TM is dec 10. But can't even get the stages of recovery to work.  Tests of material D on OK.

If you're in Snow Leopard as your profile is displayed, follow these steps:

Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive

1 fix the hard disk and permissions

Boot from your Snow Leopard installation disc. After the installer loads, choose your language and click on the button continue. When the menu bar appears select utility drive in the Utilities menu. After that the charges of THE select your entry from hard drive (mfgr. ID and car size) in the list on the left.  In the status area, you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is faulty or has failed. (State SMART is not reported on external drives Firewire or USB). If the drive is "verified", then select your OS X volume in the list on the left (subentries under the entry for the road), click the first aid tab, then click the repair disk button. If THE reports any errors that have been corrected, and then run repair disk again until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported, click repair permissions . Wait until the operation is complete, then exit FROM and return to the installer.

If THE reports errors, it cannot be resolved, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you do not have one of them or none of them can fix the disc, then you will need to reformat the hard drive and reinstall the OS X.

    2 reinstall Snow Leopard

If the disc is OK then leave FROM and return to the installer.  Proceed to reinstall OS X.  Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files.  After installing a new copy of Mac OS X, the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, elements of support and network preferences in the newly installed system.

Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 v1.1 updated Combo.

If the above does not work, then follow these steps:

    Clean Install of Snow Leopard

Make sure that you have backed up your files because the following procedure will remove all of the hard drive.

    1. start the computer using the Snow Leopard installation disc or disc 1 that came

with your computer.  Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.

After the ring, press and hold the C"" key.  Release the button when you see

a small gear appear under the dark gray Apple logo.

    2. once the load setup program select your language and click continue

button. When the menu bar appears select utility drive in the Utilities menu.

After charge OF select hard drive entry in the list on the left (mfgr. ID and drive

size.)  Click the Partition tab in the main window of THE.  Set the number of

partitions to one (1) from the Partitions of the dropdown menu, click on the Options button

GUID, click OK, and then select define the Mac OS Extended format type

(Logged, if supported), and then click the apply button.

    3. when formatting is complete FROM and return to the installer.  Move forward

with the installation of OS X and follow the instructions included with the installer.

    4. Once installation is complete your computer will restart in the Setup

Assistant. After finishing Setup Wizard will complete the installation, after which

you will use a new installation of Mac OS X.  You can now begin the process of updating

at the opening of updated software and installing all recommend updates to bring your

    current installation.

    5. If you plan to sell or to give to your remote computer, then proceed as follows:

Once you reformat your hard disk and reinstall OS X, the computer restarts with a

Screen of welcome and you prompt to choose a country or region. If you want to leave

the Mac in an out-of-box state, do not continue with the configuration of your system. Instead,.

Press command-Q to stop the Mac. When the new owner turns on the Mac,

the Setup Wizard will guide them through the configuration process.

Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 v1.1 updated Combo.

  • 'Unknown error' export - it's time to panic!

    Hi guys

Hello. I use Win7 64-bit, SP1 with Pr CC2014. I worked on a documentary of long hours. I exported several times for the customer (with H.264, game source, medium flow), but today trying to export the final cut I suddenly get this message "unknown error" and that it will not be exported.

Has anyone faced this and if yes, how is is it resolved?

    Kind regards

    Graham

Thanks for your comments. When I started the PC this morning, he made the documentary long time using MPEG 2, game source, medium flow. If the graphics card was overloaded with work yesterday? I posted another thread on the output because the quality isn't the best, and the file size is 2.5 GB.
