  I want to install Essbase 11.1.2.2 customer. E delivery site do I download only "EPM System Release 11.1.2.2.0 Client installers for Microsoft Windows V31866-01" or any file must also be?

  The essbase client is available in the client installation package or you can download a newer version of the fix for the Support of Oracle.
  The essbase client is a stand-alone Installer (.exe), it does not include the excel add-in, add-in excel is in record ExcelAddin in the installation package.

  If you want to install both then run the executable for the customer and essbase excel add-in, they are supported on Windows 7.

  Hello Menoj,

  All Hyperion product installation is the same. You will need to extract all of the required assemblies and then run the installation program. It is a menu option Essbase to install the client.

  You will need to download the installer, part 1 of the Foundation and the essbase client, check out the files in the same directory and run installtool.cmd

  Essbase client is installed on my machine. But I do not see console Essbase studio under the start menu-> Oracle EPM System-> Essbase. Does this mean Essbase studio is not installed? How can I make sure that? Is there anywhere else, I can check?

• 11.1.3 Essbase Client installation problem

  Try to install the 64-bit customers to add in Excel and EAS on Win 7 64 bit laptop. We go through the installation, the process with these files unzipped in a directory.
  
  V17382-01 - Installer
  V17397-01 - 1 Services Foundation
  V17388-01 - Essbase Client
  
  I installed everything and then when I navigate to the bin folder, when you try to add the Add In Excel, the Add-In file is not in the bin directory as it should. So I thought I should install only pieces of 32-bit client. So when I try and run the EPM system uninstall, it fires, but it shows never no product to uninstall. So I tried to cheat the system and delete the C:\Hyperion directory and by removing all entries related to Hyperion in the registry, but always thought that Hyperion customers are installed when I run the InstallTool.cmd file.
  
  So I ask things or ways to re - install the 32-bit clients and/or uninstall the etc. first existing customers...
  
  I'm stuck for what to do...

  During the installation process a file. Oracle.products is added to the user's home directory. It contains what has been installed.

• Problem with installing Essbase Client 9.2.1

  I want to install Essbase on a server that has a version of Essbase installed on it before. Everything seemed to be uninstalled before the start of this new facility in 9.2.1.
  
  I installed Shared Services and the Essbase server without any problems.
  
  When I tried to install the Essbase Client, an error occurs during installation. The error reads as follows:
  
  "Cannot install Essbase Client 9.2.1.0 on Suite Single-Installer: installed product has the latest version."
  
  I see that no indication of the Essbase Client installed on the server with the exception of one of the possibilities. Under the control panel > Add/Remove Programs dialog box, it is a "program" named "Documentation of analytical Services 9.3.0.1 Hyperion System 9 BI +".
  
  However, when I go to uninstall this 'program', I get an error message. It reads:
  
  "Unable to locate the installation log"D:\Hyperion\AnalyticServices\Essdocs.isu"
  
  I don't know what I can do to get the Essbase Client to install and get this "program" to uninstall. Any ideas?

  If you reinstall, try this:
  -uninstall program hyperion
  -remove all the way environment hyperion
  -Delete the file vpd.properties (windows directory)
  -Delete the folder hyperion
  -Reinstall

  I'm running a 64-bit RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.4 system and have an application that requires that the Client of Essbase 32-bit libraries to connect to a server instance Essbase 11.1.2 11.1.2.X.

  Go by reading the messages of the forum for the past couple days, I came to understand that Oracle Essbase 11.1.2 no longer ships a client Linux as a separate assembly, you must therefore install the complete Essbase server and then extract the files of the client out of that use.  So I'll try to get the correct bundle of downloaded files to the same get the installer to launch correctly so I can choose a minimum installation, including the components of the client, but I can't get correct zip files, I almost, but there is always some missing, and the instructions I found seem to refer to 11.1.1.X versions which have changed a bit in the 11.1.2.X version.

  Can someone please help me understand what still me get installation running and how to extract the client libraries?

• Essbase client/Excel add-in 7.1.6.9 is available?

  It is a cross-post from the Network54 card, but I was hoping one of the gurus here could help out. Someone there said that Excel-component snap 7.1.6.9 version is supposed to have addressed the issues of zoom of Excel and it was released in mid-December. I went through all the download of delivery sections I could think, but the most recent I can see is 7.1.6.7 (I tried it anyway because the most recent, I had was 7.1.6.6, but he always seems to have the problem of zoom).

• Manually configure the client 11 essbase (without using the Installer)

  is it possible to install the Essbase 11 client without using the installation program?
  I tried to copy the 'bin' and 'regional settings' directory of an existing facility and put in place the variable of environment ARBORPATH - without success.
  
  I missed something? Maybe some registry entries? Or is it not possible to manually configure the essbase client?

  In 11.1.2.x, you can get a separate installer for essbase spread spreadsheet add-in.
  Simply, you can run that as we do in version 9.

  I've extracted the Installer of the system, 4 parts Essbase Client and Services of the Foundation in a temporary folder and ran the InstallTool.cmd.
  However, when I select choose components in layer or individually, I can't choose Essbase client (or any other component for that matter) that the checkbox is grayed out.

  If you click customer essbase in the installer, I think he should give a reason why it cannot be installed.
  No you don't need a database to install the client.
