Essbase process launched in the background goes on State "pending."

Hello

I use 11.1.2.1. Any process of Essbase in the background goes on State "pending." And the process never begins.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello

Try the following steps...

1. stop the Regional service

2 remove all content from the WebLogic temp folder

Location: EPM_ORACLE_INSTANCE /... / domains/EPMSystem/servers/EssbaseAdminServices0/tmp /--> delete everything in this folder

3. start the EAS Server

It could be that useful...

  • How the cloning process works in the background?

    VMware dear Experts,

    I want to know "How the cloning process works in the background?", according to my understanding is it works like this

    (1) instant a VM cloned

    (2) recording a virtual machine to a destination host

    (3) copy the hard of the files to a destination host

    (4) commit the Flash disk to the destination host (changed blocks r commited)

    Peut sum1 brief the cloning process...

    Concerning

    Mr. VMware

    Almost correct, step 4 the Flash disk gets committed to the VM source not destination of VM, does start with a hot-clone vCenter no change after the clone operation (i.e. the snapshot has been added to the source of the VM) will be written to the destination virtual machine.

    If you use VMware Converter, it has an option to "sync" can you consult so that it does several passes to pick up all the changes of the past during the clone operation.

    One more thing to remember it is hot-clones consistent crash so there is the possibility of losing data, although from my experience there has never been a problem.

  • How to set up Adobe Acrobat Pro XI action batch process runs in the background as in previous versions

    On Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, the batch of stocks does not work in the background.  Each document is processed back Adobe to the active window.  In previous versions, the action/batch has always run in the background.  During the processing of 1000 files, it is very annoying and time consuming.

    I looked at a multitude of settings and tried various open and save options. Nothing do.

    Has anyone found a way around that?

    Thank you

    SKK

    Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. I have found that on Windows you can kind of get around that by reducing the window of Acrobat using Win + D, but this is hardly a good solution. Acrobat is simply not built for the treatment of large quantities of files, even if it has the functionality of the wizard of the Action...

    If you need to do this, then you should look for a more robust tool.

  • too many processes running in the background 61

    How do I remove safely their

    The amount of running processes is relative (I have 66 and the system works well). If you experience slow performance and Windows startup time is decent so maybe you should leave them be.
    If not, see here to get started. Start by removing software that is not published by Microsoft. You can remove entries wth qttask(QuickTime task), reader_sl (launch Adobe Acrobat speed), AdobeARM, jusched (or anything associated with Java). Let the entries that have the name of the manufacturer of your computer (such as Dell, Lenovo, HP) and the name of the graphics card (ATI, Intel, NVIDIA) in their description fields, name of file or Publisher. It goes the same for antivirus software.

    How can I stop it?

    Hello

    Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE with no Addons - what works best?

    IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

    IE - Tools - Internet Options - Security tab - click on reset all default areas - apply / OK

    Close and restart IE or IE with no addons

    not better?

    IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if she's here, it is no longer necessary but Java still
    installs and it causes problems - you never update Java to go back in and turn it off again). Look for other
    possible problems.

    Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems with programs that do not look right.
    Allowed are usually OK and "unauthorized" are not always bad. If in doubt about a program, ask
    topic here.

    Could be a free - SpyBHOremover - BHO - standalone program, needs no installation, download and
    run - not all are bad but some can cause your question (toolbars are BHO).

  • How do I know what process should run in the background of a HP Pavilion a1020n desktop computer

    There are a lot of processes running in the background of my office, and the amount of memory used varies from 0% to 100%.  Seriously, this affects the performance of my pc, especially if I'm trying to run multiple applications at the same time.  Is there a list of the process 'default' which must be running, and if so, where can I find such a list?

    As I do, that's if you close all the programs that you know how to close there should be only 50-60 process depending on the operating system that you do not specify.

    From there on, organize the task by using the memory manager. Can google those using memory that you want to disable or learn more about.

    I looked in the dialog system progress, but it seems he needs user interaction., an OK button.

    I want just a Cancel button and my registration process going on in the background.

  • Showing a standby screen while the background processing

    Hi all

    I implement a wizard have been I let the user fill in some parameters of network connection. When the user clicks 'next' I want to run a background process to see if the entered parameters are correct. According to the result of the background process, the wizard can continue to the next screen or remain on the current screen.

    There must be something like this:

    boolean onNext()
    {
      // Executed when the user presses 'next' (run in the EDT)

      // Show a wait popup
      UiApplication.getUiApplication().pushScreen(progressPopup);

      // do my network stuff
      boolean success = false;
      UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeAndWait(new Runnable()
      {
        public void run()
        {
          // try to connect to the network
          // ...
          success = true;
        }
       });

      // hide the popup
      UiApplication.getUiApplication().popScreen(progressPopup);

      // return whether the network stuff was successful
      return success;
    }

    This does not work because the popup does not appear. How can I achieve that?

    Thanks in advance!

    Modal screen is very good and has some advantages, in that it means that your logic that knows what it is in the State.

    What you want to do depends on the application.  For example, we have a server locator tool, the user launches the search, then we do not secure anything, except that they cannot launch a new search until they cancel the old one.  Alert us when the search is completed or dead or expired.

    With a modal form (and we do too) I personally like this to have a Cancel button, so that the user can stop waiting - which complicates the Interface.  In fact, there is a case for the wireless network to bring an observer of the screen modal, so that he knows that he has to ignore the answer if the screen has been cancelled.

  • Stop aggregation script running as a process in the background

    Essbase 11.1.2.3

    Thank you

    Robert.

    In windows, you will see two processes (ESSBASE, ESSSVR). Essbase is the main server process and ESSSVR is the process that is created when you do any activity. You must kill all the ESSSVR process (if you're pretty sure to kill any given the impact). Do not kill the ESSBASE process when you have ESSSVR process

  • IP assigned by DHCP NAT at the launch of VM background

    Hello

    I have several virtual machines that I run as a linux servers and the problem is that I have run in the background and unless I connect them I can't determine the IP address of the virtual machine.

    As you see this is a problem when you first launch I can ssh into them as I do not know the IP address and even when I run as a foreground initially process the launch of the virtual machine will fail because it has a pingback functionality based on its name, I have set up my pairs of name/IP mapping in the/etc/hosts of my host.

    I know that I could add a static mapping in the config dhcp however I need VMware Workstation as a Fusion to support support I don't know if this works even on both.

    Now, my question is: can I somehow query the Fusion of the internal dhcp (workstation) to show me 'from the outside' who received from IP?

    Thank you

    Ingo.

    If you have VMware Tools installed in the virtual machine, you can get the IP address using vmrun:

    / Applications/VMware\ Fusion.app/Contents/Library/vmrun getGuestIPAddress

    If you don't have the tools or would like to get tools before IP address starts, you can use the arp utility to list all known addresses to the host via the ARP protocol:

    ARP - a

    You can also add-i to limit it to a specific network interface. Host-Only is vmnet1 and vmnet8 NAT. Open VMs will be displayed on the host network interface (en0, en1, etc.).

  • Is there possible to see which are the background running processes in the system which is having Windows XP as operating system?

    Is there possible to see which are the background running processes in the system which is having Windows XP as operating system?

    There is no resource manager (or resource monitor) in the XP Task Manager.

    Please read these notes I send to the people who are (sometimes) concerned about the svchost.exe process number they see on their system or when it looks like one of their svchost.exe process has run amok.  We can not all apply to your situation, but I don't want to type in a bunch of stuff once again.  Then get Process Explorer and you will be able to be Omniscient:

    To help understand your processes svchost.exe and what is running under them, read this article and you will be smarter than the average bear:
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial129.html

    You may be able to get clues with what is happening with your svchost.exe process using the Task Manager and maybe understand.

    You will always be able to understand what is happening with your svchost.exe process if you use Process Explorer.

    Download Process Explorer, so you can see what is 'really' running on your system, especially behind those svchosts several process see you in the running task manager.

    Download Process Explorer from here:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/Sysinternals/bb896653.aspx

    You'll like Process Explorer when you get the hang of it.  Process Explorer is the Manager of Windows taskbar on steroids.

    Process Explorer installs nothing so it won't slow down your system since it works only on request.

    Process Explorer can seem a little intimidating at first because it has so much information, but you will begin to make love the way it works when you're looking for performance problems.   You can even say EP you want it to be your new default 'Task Manager' value in the future.  You can always run the original tasks as Manager.

    Once you get Process Explorer running, expand the columns, made drag the corners of the screen for it's largest, etc., so you can see as much information as possible in the window.  Now you can really see what is running on the system.

    Here's a screenshot of my poor system when I use Process Explorer:

    http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/2567/ProcessExplorer.PNG

    The CPU column is usually the most interesting start with performance issues - which uses the most?

    It is OK and normal to have several svchost exe processes running.  Important XP Services are actually running under svchost.exe processes. There are sometimes an XP Service that runs under a svchost.exe process, sometimes there are several Services in XP, which runs under a svchost.exe process.

    Sometimes malware will hide behind a svchost.exe process because the malware knows that you won't be able to find it in the Task Manager.  He will hide behind a svchost.exe process to deceive you, but you can outsmart it.

    Malicious software can disguise itself also seems to be a legitimate process of XP or he could hide under/behind other processes that you see running in Task Manager if you can't see the execution.

    The malware would trick you into thinking you must use a System Restore Point, run a repair install or reinstall your XP from scratch when you really don't.

    Looking at the display in process Explorer, you want the CPU most to be associated with the system idle process.  It's 'free time' on your system, so more time there, more free.

    If you look at the graphs of performance and see red spikes (or not) double click the graphic in the upper left corner to display the graph to use.  Move the mouse over any pics to see what are the causes.  Even if the Spike has already scroll screen, you can still move the mouse over the edge to see what caused.  You can also just wait for a pic to happen and then see what caused the Spike.

  • Host process for Windows Services stopped working and was closed & Windows must now restart because the DCOM Server process Launcher service terminated unexpectely

    my computer keeps stopping and restarting itself. I get the same messages of 2 error: host process for Windows Services stopped working and was closed and; Windows must now restart because the DCOM Server process Launcher service terminated unexpectely. How can I fix? I used the norton support, run analyses of many, nothing has helped.

    None of the above works though... I didn't know by another forum to download Hitman 3.5 http://www.surfright.nl/en/downloads/home that he got rid of a virus that norton, Norton 360 and Malwarebytes antivirus support could not. I had no problem since :)
