Establishment of a VISA for a TCP/IP connection

I'm writing a LabVIEW program that will allow me to recover data in my LeCroy Wavejet 354 and display them in a LabVIEW interface.  I set ACIP of LeCroy passport.  I have a problem ping from the unit so I know that my ethernet to the computer connection is good.  We know do not know how I can use VISA to make the connection for TCP/IP connections. In MAX, the function of remote systems will not detect the IP address of the bezel-o.  I also tried to create a new device under devices and interfaces in MAX and after "create new", he gave me no option to create anything.   You have an example VI that can help me see how VISA can be used to establish this connection or know another way I could get this to work?  Thanks for the help.

Remote systems is not the right way to add Ethernet instrument. Right click on the device and Interfaces and then left or do a right click on the Create New..., must display the screen below. You want to select VISA TCP/IP resource

I'm looking for a driver for Visa for 0154 Brooks. I can even connect to the Rs232, with their program dde 'smart '!

It seems to be a visa driver for Hart, but for the MFC 5850 not for the 0154 controller. I don't want to control four MFC but just a 0154 controller which will deal with the MFC four attached to it.

Brooks 0154 controller requires a null modem for RS232 communication. Brooks has a Labview VI for the 0154

can be used to control the MFC5850. The labview VI can be used with the 0154 for controller control MFC 4.

  • TCP/IP connection with the external device

    Hello

I need establish a TCP/IP connection to my hardware device that ip (10.102.20.90) and the port no 9012 by static ip setting.

Since I'm new to this Protocol, I am a little worried about how to make the communication between my pc hardware. Here my labwindow code to serve clinet and material as a server. Having established the successful connection, I need to read the data coming out of this port.

Please help me make this communication happens.

I'm working on version 9.0 of Labwindow.

A good starting point would be to consider the application for TCP/IP client sample that is bundled with the CVI. You can find it on \samples\tcp\client.cws

    Martin.

  • Open TCP/IP connection failed

    Hello

I can't establish a TCP/IP connection between my host and another PC. I use the 'Simple data Sever' and 'Customer of data Simple' screw delivered with LabVIEW. Error message is less than

The example screw working finw when I use them only on my host.

    I can confirm the following:

    • Good serial port
    • Correct skill game
    • The firewall on both computers is OFF

    Any fix ideas?

Try a port number more than 50000. You use port numbers in user space. 2055 port is assigned to the Iliad-Odyssey Protocol and commplex-link 5001 is assigned. Don't know what eith erof here is or how they are commonly but you might be runnin celine a conflict. Ports 49152-65535 are reserved for dynamic/private use. You can get more information here about IP ports. It's worth a try. The other thing you could do is to install Wireshark on every PC and see if the package (TCP - SYN) is to learn by the client and the server.

  • TCP/udp connection via the private wifi network

I want to develop applications using the wireless private network with tcp/udp connection for my Blackberry 8320 (Version 4.2.2.180 without SIM), do I need authorisation from RIM so that they work in the unit? If it is true, how can I get permission?

    I noticed http://www.blackberryforums.com/wifi-hotzone/100800-8320-wi-fi-limited.html

    who says:

"The Blackberry 8320 with wi - fi connection is limited. The only program that can use the wi - fi is the Blackberry browser... all the third-party programs... ie. Opera Mini, JiveTalk and even RIM's instant messaging programs. Yahoo Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, are all designed to connect using data from EDGE of the phone... None of them can detect or use the wi - fi! »

    If it is true now?

You can use the interface = wifi parameter in the URL to specify that the connection should be performed by Wi - Fi.  However, please note that this setting is available in version 4.5.0 and highest BlackBerry device software.  Therefore, you must first put your BlackBerry handheld.  FURTER details can be found here:

  • Games for windows live cannot connect

Games for windows live cannot connect to the internet, this problem started last week when I tried to play Dawn of war 2 online. At that time I was running Vista Ultimate 64 bit and after exhausting all existing boards on this site and many others, I decided to completely format my PC and start again with Windows 7 64 bit, but I have the same problem exact. only now my profile is no longer stored on my PC because I formatted so I can still play offline.

After trying to connect, it says "the profile could not be connected to LIVE. "There may be a network problem or the Windows Live ID service may not be available" option on the GFWL client network status says:

    NIC: Local 2 network connection

    Internet IP address: not connected

    Local IP address: 192.168.2.9:0

    System link address: 192.168.2.9:3074

    Account PC: PC.000000000000

    UPnP: Not signed in

    PC ID: 0X10DF99910D0A00E8

I have made the following recommended to others in similar situations, has passed all the recommended ports (TCP 53,80,443,3074) and UDP 53,88,3074, installed and running Windows fix it, Microsoft.Net 4.0 update, installed and run Winsockfix, disabled windows firewall (I have not installed any other protection software yet) compatible UPnP on my router, changed my static connection type and still no progress. My router is supported and I am in a country supported direct (UK). This my independent being, but I also experience certificate errors when you use Microsoft sites, which is strange as I said that the Web site of the company that developed the program that I use is dangerous. It's my totally finished in guys any help would REALLY be apreciated. Cheers.

I can't believe ive finally resolved, hours after validation. the button on my motherboard battery had been dislodged and my date and time have been reset in 2009, whenever I stop my PC. everything is working fine now GFWL working and no more certificate errors.

Download and run LSPFix from here: http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
Read the instructions on how to use LSPFix carefully here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial59.html

    Once executed, restart your system.

    1. don't you make changes on the computer before the show?
    2. when exactly do you face the question?
    3. what anti-virus is installed on the computer?

    Method 1:
It is a warning that a malicious program or a virus can be run on the system. You can run a Microsoft security scanner to make sure that the computer is free from virus infection:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
    WARNING:
If you run the antivirus program that is infected by the virus scan will get deleted. Therefore, reinstall the program. Also if the files and folders are affected by the virus, while they might even get deleted

    Method 2:
Check the behavior by starting the computer in a clean boot state. How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353
Note: When the diagnosis is complete do not forget to reset the computer to a normal startup. Follow step 7 in the above article.

    Method 3:
Please close some of the connections (some types of downloads can use multiple connections).

Could someone please tell me if the above interferes with my direct mail and if yes, how should I put it right.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

I would be grateful, if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the question?

    1. Did you do last changes before this issue on your system?
    2. You use a third-party security software on your system?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check.

Method 1: TCP/IP can sometimes become damaged or altered. We can refer to TCP/IP and check if this solves the problem.

How to reset the Protocol Internet (TCP/IP)

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/299357

Method 2: I suggest you temporarily disable the antivirus software (and other security such as anti-malware software, etc.) and the firewall on the computer and see if that fixes the problem.

If disabling the antivirus/firewall resolves the issue, you may need to configure the settings of the antivirus as a result program. Please contact the software vendor for assistance in this regard.

Note: Make sure that you enable the antivirus software, other security and firewall after the test programs.

    Caution:

Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Hope this information is useful. Please let us know if you need help with Windows.

Any ideas? Should I chuck the laptop away and buy a new one?

If, as you say, you have several active antivirus running programs, they will conflict with each other and you will have no protection
