estimate the frequency of resonance sweeping the frequency of 100 Hz to 500 Hz

Hello

In fact, I need to make the open-loop system to vibrate the structure of 100 Hz to 500 Hz to find the resonant frequency. I tried to create the code that allows to operate (excited) structure and measure the fron of the sensor (capacitive sensor) signal. At first, I tested my code by generating the AI12 signal and connected this signal to the AO0 to evaluate the code. However, I have encountered two problems. first of all, the pulse in the acquisition of code (entry) signal is delayed by approximately 20ms as may be included as an attachment. Second, generating signal evolves each 0.01 s where start from 100 Hz to 500 Hz. in other words, at the beginning, I have a cycle and the cycle will increase at each 0.01 s. My question, how to calculate the FFT for each 0.01 s and at the end, showing the result on a graph to show the resonance frequency. Could you please help at this stage.
I have attached the file Vi.

Khalid

Hi Khalid,

I'm glad that you found it useful. To add a frequency sweep, simply replace the uniform white noise vi with a beep that is located in the Signal Processing > signal generation > model Chirp.

I hope this helps. Good day.

  • Estimate the time between two computers

    Hello, everyone.

I want to develop a program for communication between two ip addresses:

    IP1: 192.168.1.100

    IP2: 192.168.1.101

Suppose IP1 is the server IP2 is the Viewer, then I want to put in place a program to estimate the elapsed time for IP1 contact IP2, but I don't know how to do.

Also, I want to display the elapsed time for the connection (which varies due to fluctuations in the internet), performing actions such as continuously 'ping' the receiver from the server. Can someone show me the way to achieve this? Thank you very much.

    Best regards

    How about using ping?

Insert the output in an analysis of string to read the value you need. Sorry my OS is in German so you have to adapt ;-)

  • Estimate the size of backups rman & time

    Hi DBAs,

    ENV: 11 GR 2, Windows Server 2008, 64-bit, = 12 GB RAM,

    DB size = 370 GB., CMS = 5 GB, EAMA = enabled.

We need to move this database to the 2012 Windows Server that runs on Hyper-V.  You guys you will suggest what are the best methods to move with limited downtime?

If we opt for RMAN, is it possible to measure to estimate the size of the backup? (at least, approximate size) and how long it takes to finish?

    Please, share your ideas!

How to write a function to estimate the number of rows returned SQL through SQL Execution Plan?
    My idea is
Call dbms_sql.parse to create the SQL PLAN, then ask the PLAN for the number of estimated return lines.
But how to get SQL plan through "id cursor?
    Thank you.

You can use EXECUTE IMMEDIATE to explain plan statement. About the STATEMENT_ID generation, it could be anything. Even a SYSTIMESTAMP cast as TANK would work.

  • Is it allowed to operate the processor to 100% minimal state... ? And this effect of thing on life of processor or not. ?

    I have Core Processor i3-3220.

    1. If I put the speed of the CPU to 100% minimal state so he will be on the life of the processor or not... ?

    Another issue is

I have Kingston Hyper X Black 4 GB 1600 MHz RAM. It is a locking device.

    2. What does mean more ways of locking. ? And what should the configuration for locking. ?

The 100% figure is purely the clock speed and used to be the only way that processors would work. SpeedStep or limitation allows the CPU to reduce its speed to save power. The processor is designed to run at this speed and suffer no harm. Even when a CPU has no threads to execute that does not actually stop and must cover (similar to the soldiers walking time) ineffective cycles

I think you mean Overclocking. Memory is sold as being able to turn a rated speed or a frequency that is normally it is maximum for 100% reliability, although they may work more slowly. They need a specific voltage to run at this speed, overclocking will allow you to vary the tension to get the memory to run at a higher speed. This is normally done to also overclock the CPU for better performance.

Personally, I find overclocking performance benefits are so marginal in terms of actual use (don't not benchmarking) that the headaches additional improved cooling necessary in particular for the CPU not make worth.

  • How to clear the BIOS on an HP Pavilion 500-214ed

    Hi all

in a Flash of genius unprecedented I accidentally disabled all the USB ports on my Pavilion 500-214ed. Which now leaves me with a useless system, since both USB keyboard and mouse do not work. So I need to reset the BIOS to factory settings.

I have found the ROM_RECOVERY (E16) jumper on the motherboard, which I guess is that I need to clear the BIOS, but I can't find a manual or something to let me know which jumper settings, I need.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance

    Steve

    Hi, Steve:

Normally, you can find that info on the motherboard plug page but it isn't here.

Have you tried to unplug the PC and carefully remove the cmos battery room and pressing the power button to remove all residual power to the motherboard?

If all goes well, remove the cmos battery will also clear the BIOS settings.

But if you look at the motherboard first, there are no jumpers labelled CMOS and password?

  • Read the CPU hits 100% in the FIFO usage

I have a PC in real-time with a card of RIO 7833R. I write the values that I read a microphone in a FIFO at a sampling rate of 4 kHz.The length of the FIFO is 2048. The PC in real-time, when I call 'FIFO read' function to read say 400 data samples, the use of CPU time real PC hits 100%. Why is it so? The function 'Read FIFO' is placed inside a while loop.

    Thank you

    Prashant

    Hi Prashant,

Reading the FIFO is a method of querying, so if the number of elements specified to read are not available when the method is called, it queries the FPGA until they are.  This causes the CPU to 100% usage. You can find more information on this subject and a way around this here.

  • Windows XP I often setup.exe keeping the CPU at 100% for at least a few minutes.

Running Windows XP, I often setup.exe keeping the CPU at 100% for at least a few minutes... this process can be completed or ignored?

"Setup.exe" is a generic term used by many applications.  The short answer is 'yes', it's OK to complete the process, but you really need to know what it is and why it continues to run.

You probably need to download, install, update and run these free malware scanner (not at the same time):
    MalwareBytes AntiMalware
    SUPERAntiSpyware

If that is not fix things, and assuming that this process begins when you start the computer, download, install, and run Autoruns.  When Autoruns has finished scanning, click the 'Connection' tab and look for the line that contains "setup.exe".  You can just uncheck the box on the left, or remove the item, which will prevent the routine of starting when Windows starts.

Preferably, however, you should look at the path containing setup.exe where you should be able to deduce what application is trying to set itself up.  You can then take the appropriate measures, which may be simply delete the folder that contains the file.  Note that if you delete the file, you must ALSO remove the line in Autoruns, otherwise you will get a "file not found" error every time Windows starts.

  • Paper size of the PIXMA Pro - 100 substitute

    Hello

I love the Pixma Pro-100 on most levels compared to my previous R2400!  Ink consumption, image quality, etc. all are better.  The only exceptionis I could print a banner 44 "on the Epson.  Is it possible to configure or replace the maximum print size 13 x 19?

    Thank you!

    KP

Like other Canon printers, the PRO-100 to set custom paper sizes.

Paper width: 12.95 "- after a few tries, I found that a custom size the value 13" causes a printing error. With the help of 12.95 "corrected it. You will notice on the scale of width 16.54. This is an error in the software programming.

I found that the effective maximum print length is 26 ".  Then 12.95 x 26 inches.  No. 44 inches!
