  Same problem here.  The symptoms are slightly different w7-32 and w7-64, but the starting point is the same, that is, the file dialog - record often does nothing when I click on "Save".  Sometimes, after repeated clicks or wait a minute or two, it will work.  Sometimes it will work immediately.  The only way that it still works, it is if a file of the same name already exists in the target folder, and then select this file in the folder view, and then clicking "Save" allows the dialogue to "complete" (with a message "replace?").   Sometimes under w7-32, by selecting the drop type file helps also.   The problem occurred in my own applications, so I can choose to use the 'XP' or 'Vista' dialog style, but both exhibit the same behavior.

  I don't really see your layer panel, but your image, looks like you are trying to mix a layer against the background transparent. You need two layers of mixture. It does not work against a transparent BG.

  How many parameters is defined for that?

  If there is no parameter, just use this:

  If by "corrupt" you mean that essbase breaks down and you can't restart the db so yes it's unusual and something is wrong with the environment. However, if you mean that the data is not the same as it was before you start the script, then no, there is nothing wrong. Essbase is not a restoration have this cancellation, the calc script processed until you killed it.

  For those who have the same permission denied errors, I found the solution.

  I had to specify the current working directory in the matlab script (this is the directory to which you saved your LAbview VI).

  For example, if you have saved your labview vi to C:\Example_Folder

  then you must add the following command in your matlab script node before the command that causes the error

  CD (' c:/Example_Folder')

  I hope this will help.
