Even Firefox mode full screen randomly, for no apparent reason.
Regardless of the site, I'm on, every time I watch a video in full screen, it will be randomly out of the full screen and I have to constantly change back to full screen.
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

Flash hangs using Firefox mode full screen
When you try to view full screen videos, I get a message that Adobe broke down. I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe and using current versions of Firefox. This problem doesn't seem to appear with IE.
The problem in my case seems self imposed. I had already changed my settings to Visual effects for best performance. After changing the parameters of effects Visual back for 'let Windows choose... ", all my problems with the adobe software crashing mode full screen have been resolved. Thank you for your comments jscher2000.

I tried everything, but absolutely cannot navigate without a curson WinMedia Center.

Hello
In the mouse control panel, under "Pointer Options" to go to the option "Display Pointer Trails.
This option should be disabled.AFAIK that should help to show the mouse pointer in Windows Media Center mode full-screen.

using win 7 SP1, firefox 18 with kiosk software component snap-in r_kiosk - 0.9.0 - fx.xpi to x 86. Mode full-screen kiosk uses a URL to the entry of company time sheet. Firefox is not company standard and should only be provided for this purpose. We are apt to virtualized delivery via AppV and have a solution, BUT... Really like the absence of toolbars providing no other choice to the user. Do not click no right, no navigation. Perfect except there is no fence or exit option except STROKE keyboard such as ALT + F4. I'm not talented enough to modify the XPI file to provide a booth full screen BUT with an option to close simple enough for 3500 users. Advice appreciated.
Hello
You can see the kiosk for Firefox modules. A quick search on addons.mozilla.org gave me this result: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/r-kiosk/. Have not tested it myself, but I hope that it is close to what you are in demand!
See you soon,.

How to view the bar menu &; bookmarks toolbar in Firefox 4 full-screen mode?
Firefox 3.6, I was using the AutoHide extension to activate the menu bar and the bookmarks toolbar mode full screen. But hide automatically is not compatible with Firefox 4, and even its homepage seems to have disappeared. (This is an old copy on the Wayback Machine.)
In full Firefox 4 screen, when I move the mouse to the top of the screen, only the navigation toolbar and the list are displayed. I want to see the menu bar and the bookmarks toolbar as well. I also want to be able to use the Alt key to open the menu (for example Alt - V to open the view menu.)
Is there a compatible with Firefox 4 extension that can do this?
I also have this issue the superuser, if you want to rep it. Otherwise, I'll cross-post any response I get.
Add code to userChrome.css below @namespace.
You can use the ChromEdit Plus extension for easier access to the customization files.
- ChromEdit more: http://webdesigns.ms11.net/chromeditp.html
@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */ #toolbar-menubar[moz-collapsed="true"] { visibility: visible !important; } #PersonalToolbar[moz-collapsed="true"] { visibility: visible !important; }

How to not to let Firefox HTML5 mode full-screen with multiple monitors or a window manager tiles
Hello
I'm using Firefox (v24.4.0 ESR) mode to fullscreen HTML5 with two screens or a tiling window manager. The problem is, every time the browser window loses focus, Firefox let full screen.
It seems that it was possible to address this problem by setting the ' fullscreen - api .exit-on-disable ' in ' subject: config', but only up to what Firefox version 21.0 [1]. The option is gone, and even he created manually does not work.
The web search gave no way to achieve this in a recent version of Firefox. Does anyone know how to get Firefox to stay full screen mode when you leave the accent?

Vista + do not support a command prompt full screen, as indicated by the message. You can manipulate the available to the command window to specify the width and height to be as big as you want, but this isn't quite the same thing...

in most programs, F11 will take you full screen. in adobe reader, you must use Ctrl-L. F11 can be added to adobe reader as a shortcut for mode full screen?
Hi hanekam123,
I'm sorry, that is not possible, that is how Acrobat/Reader is built. For drive mode, you can use Ctrl + L to fullscreen or Ctrl + H.
Kind regards

Based on http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/1308132?TSTART=0 I decided to add each question separately:
Hello, I am very interested in buying Lightroom 5.2. I tried the RC that was missing today. Yet, I have several questions that I can't find really good conclusive answers, I'd like to get an answer before buying LR. Please do not write maybe like this or that (assumptions), because I don't want to start my entire workflow and then realize that I have to change all around, please reply, if you know for sure that something works and you are, preferably, using this method too.
Is it possible to see the details of the photo (CMD + I to for example, opening, ISO etc.) mode full screen?
Works here: Mac and PC

I installed Firefox on a new computer with Windows 10 and initially failed to enter fullscreen (F11) mode. After some tests, I came up with a procedure that works, but involves starting Firefox twice each time - a minor annoyance.
I have 1 'Favorites' tab and the other tabs open with a working fullscreen and close Firefox normally (I don't get the warning waited on the closure of several tabs). The following steps find Firefox upward and mode full-screen:1. launch Firefox. It gives a blank page expanded with the address bar and the bar tab with a single tab.
2. press F11. Curiously, square set full-screen mode, it replaces the page 'Restored' size.
3 maximize. Window extends to its appearance after step 1.
4. stop Firefox. Window goes away.
5. start Firefox a 2nd time. This time, it will come with the 'restoration' page Firefox (with address & tab bar) which shows the tabs that were open at the previous close and gives the opportunity to select the tabs you want to come this time.
At this point F11 will toggle in and out of fashion full screen properly, so steps 6 and 7 can be either order.
6. press F11. He's going to full screen (i.e. address & tab bars disappear).
7. click on the button "restore". Earlier closing tabs are restored and F11 is fully functional.
Issues related to the:
1. Why don't I get the warning for closing multiple tabs? (It seems more to be an option.)
2. because (in XP at least) the "Restoration" page should appear only after a forced or abnormal stop, why is she even get involved? (Both the cases referred were normal).
3. why Firefox doesn't come until normal the first time, with only the tabs that have been pinned and F11 functional?Since the first opening of this problem, it seems that the updates have been applied to Firefox, Windows 10 or both, and itself has the problem. So "thank you" to the one who fixed it.

Opening firefox, takes me to the default program Yahoo, which will open its doors in total full screen so don't not showing the toolbars, no field URL address and nothing at the bottom of the screen either. Cant' even stop correctly. Downloaded the latest version and nothing has changed. I really need this browser in order to work on the web site. Oh yes, can't see the bookmarks either.
Native mode "full screen" of Firefox shows the menu bar if you move your mouse all the way to the top of the screen. Or you can press the F11 key to switch between normal and full screen.
If those who do not work, you are perhaps in a Flash window full screen? If you right click, the menu refers to Adobe Flash?

Menu bar is not visible, but it is button mode full-screen. How can I fix it?
While I'm in Firefox, it seems that I am mode full screen, as my menu bar is missing in the application, but when I looked at how to troubleshoot, it told me to click the mode button full screen (with diagonal arrows) but is not visible anywhere in my browser. If not, how can I exit full screen mode? Thank you!
You get the menu bar if you close this window of Firefox?
On Mac, you can't hide the menu bar as in Windows and Linux, and because the operating system control the menu bar then it may not be a Firefox problem. You can try:
You can also try to remove the Firefox plist file.
See how the .plist files becomes corrupt and troubleshooting results
Come on in "library > Preferences" and remove the plist for Firefox (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).
