Even on charge my battery is less

Lately, I noticed that my battery is dying so fast, faster than normal

I checked my battery use, and there is nothing out of the normal he, not new applications or additional usage etc.

When I use my phone and he is in charge, the battery is still down! I'll have to buy new charges from USB to see if mine are defective, but it happens on 2 different charger cords! And the costs of wall and MAC

As you can see below. photos from my iphone 6 9.2.1 on charge while writing this and the battery goes down!

  • Satellite A300-1 MB - do not charge the battery

Hello, a friend of mine gave me the laptop a300-1 MB and it has a problem. It is not the battery.

I changed the battery and the charger with another laptop that work well, but they have not worked in the mine, but the only way to charge the battery must have the laptop off, put the ac charger, remove the battery and reconnect the battery. Then he is in charge. In which case I have remove the charger and connect it to the laptop it stops again loading.

    are there solutions to this?

    Hey,.

If you can only charge the battery so that the AC/DC adapter is plugged in, I think that the problem is hardware related. I mean that if the battery will be recharged while the laptop is turned off, the battery seems to be ok and even the AC/DC adapter. Theoretically, it could only be linked to the motherboard

I think you should contact the nearest authorized service provider. Guys can check your laptop computer and help you to swap the motherboard.

  • Satellite A100 - 166 PSAA9E will not charge the battery

    Hello

My laptop will not charge the battery.
Although Windows Xp recognize the battery and says loading, the battery does not charge.
I tried with a spare battery that I thought that the battery was faulty, with the same results.

Strange thing is, when I turn off the laptop the power led remains lit and the blue, even without the power supply attached therefore discharge the battery.
The battery led is still orange but not load!

What is the problem with the laptop?
    Thank you

    Hello

    Generally, there are three possibilities;
    (1) the adapter is faulty
    (2) the battery is faulty
    (3) the logbooks electronic malfunctions (ESF)

So now he of needed to check all these steps to find the fault.
You said you've tried different batteries and AC adapter works too.
So it is possible that there is something wrong with the electronic power supply

In this case there is not much to do to contact the ASP in your country. Technicians should check the portable and should run diagnostics tests

I recommend contacting the guys and ask for more details and manipulation still good luck and happy new year.

  • would like some advice to charge the battery on y50 - y70

    Hello

I've always wondered: what is the best way to charge a battery in order to obtain maximum life of it? I remember reading something in the computer user's manual, but the instructions were little foggy and nebulous to me. Basically, it is best to leave it plugged in all the time? Or let the computer unplugged until it is almsost power then plug it? Or something else? Or maybe it is not even serious? Thank you!

Just go into Settings Manager energy and then activate the mode of conservation. itll keep the battery charged inbetwen 50-60%.

  • Laptop no longer charge! Battery almost empty, but is it also the faulty wiring?

Is it possible to charge my battery now? I think my battery is completely dead now. In the past months, he stayed on less and less time without his agreement. Today, he says "battery 100%" "6 minutes". Usually, I have it just load by turning the charger cord in weird positions. I don't know if it of a faulty wiring or not. I'd rather just buy a new battery to deal with faulty wiring.

Yes, I was making the change in your battery in the boot menu thing. I have a 625 HP and have had it for over 3 years now. Last year, I had to adjust my cable just so she can load. He stirs around a little bit when inside, but the cord/plug itself seems not loose or anything... Today, that did not work at all. I tried for several hours moving my rope to the right position for my laptop can turn on. I usually get it loads in not more than 1 minute, but today was different. Last year I replaced my load and it seemed in fact it is much easier to load. However, it is a loader rather newish and this is my battery at fault this time.

My problem will resolve everything by getting a new battery? I can probably go to Best Buy or something. Or maybe buy one online.

If you think that I can also be a problem with the faulty wiring, what can I do to get it fixed? I feel that this would cost me a lot. Or, do you get a new battery will solve my problem charging?

If you think that I don't have faulty wiring, then should everyone jiggle their rope around until their laptop starts to load? It seems right that that's what I have to do just to power my laptop.

In addition, if you think that Best Buy isn't the best place to buy a new battery (expensive as hell!), a link to a site worthy of confidence with fast delivery and the fair price would be great!

Well, it really depends on a few things, but replace the battery and the charger is the first step to discover.  It is not too difficult to find replacements, fortunately.  Here is the battery and This is the charger .

It could be a bad connection on the laptop itself, which would mean the jack needs replaced.  Not an impossible task, but it would have required a qualified technician to open the case to replace the power supply.

Hello, all of a sudden my 8740w ElliteBook will not charge the battery and the battery flashes of color to orange color. AP power seems good however it provides compatible 19, 94V. What's wrong? Thanks, Ales

    Hello @AlesR ,

To get your question more exposure I suggest you post in the trade forums since it is a commercial product. You can do to commercial Forums.

Even if it is a Commercial product, here is a link to to test the battery.

Plug the power supply directly to a wall outlet works. Do not connect it a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.

    Thank you.

  • Charging the battery at 80% battery care options

I remember there used to be a system for windows XP and Vista wehre you could charge your battery at a certain percentage so you could extend the life of it. Apparently load to 100%, decreases the life. There was an option of 50% and 80% option to choose.

    Hello

Check with support from the manufacturer of their books online and the drivers and their forums system
(as applicable) for known issues. Some manufacturer issued BIOS and other updates to help the battery
    problems.

Control Panel control - plan change Options - power plans - power - advanced settings
Parameters for the drainage and the use of parameters (this is how much to use and not how much or how)
    long to load).

In fact, what causes a lot of wear on a battery empties it too low on several occasions. With today
systems overload are not a problem.

Here are some tips to help and troubleshoot battery issues.

Old battery? Unplug the power to the computer - remove the battery and clean the contacts with a pencil
eraser (do not use this, if your battery is fine slots - just clean up the edges of the knife which fit in)
them and be careful). Batteries are old, or it could be a problem with the computer.
Check with the support of the machine system, and many of them have on line forums.

New Lithium-Ion type battery usually last longer if you do not unload then less than 30%
However on a laptop that not extend their life a lot. Best is to use the a/c adapter
    When this is possible.

  • HP Notebook 6735 s is not charging the battery

    Hello
I bought my HP 6735 4 years and it has worked flawelessy until the last 2 months or so.
The problem began when the power supply is plugged, but wasn't the battery charge: I corrected by noticing that, by moving the plug that goes into the power supply (from the 220V), battery started or stopped to load.
But, as you might assume, this method stopped working after 2 months and now I'm here with my battery at half load and no way to recharge.
I tested the output of the given PSU and is not giving all power (it is supposed to be 18.5V), so I tried a new power supply (the PW - 1300p trust, which has many adapters, one being a Compaq/HP).

This gives the necessary 18 V but my laptop won't always charge the battery.

And then I tried everything that is suggested by your form of support here: http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/public/kb/docDisplayMobile/?docId=emr_na-c00259897&ac.adm...

The only thing I can say is that, when the battery was connected and the PC was on: I went to plug in the power supply and the LED for laptop (where you plug in your power supply) began to blink in blue, 9 and a half times.

Thanks in advance, sorry for my English confused, I'm a little rusty
    Massimo

Hello: anyone at - it a solution?
I disassembled everything and the problem is not with the connector on the motherboard...

    EDIT: well, I have corrected.
    Here's how:
I came home the laptop PSU original and cut the cable (from the PSU to the connector).
Spotted that the cable was cut and broken, fixed, now everything works.
The power supply all around that I tried to make my pc work with did not use the same phases use your power supply.

Your PSU got 3 cables: 1 external who, I think, is the "mass" or the negative of the secondary image.

1 less external which is the positive

1 internal and I don't really get what it is: in the power supply is called 'ID', guys do you have an idea what it is?

  • Compaq mini 700 is not charging the battery

    Hello forum,.

I just got a Compaq mini 700, and after another 12 hours to charge, the battery is always flat.

I revomed the battery installed en again, charging it for 2 hours and the result is the same, after disconnecting the power the mini does not DΘmarrer not on battery power at all (only with connected power).

What's the problem, maybe a power/charging setting or a defective battery.

    Comments are welcome.

PS next to this little problem that will be solved, it is a nice netbook with screen good and good keyboard.

Okay that's good standing, more or less.

What was the problem, I don't know, but the store where I bought my MINI 700 instantly gave me a new.

Because of the good relationship between the store and HP (pre-sales and after-sales) they would understand and there aren't necessarily what worries me.

I am very happy with my MINI, and the battery is charging.

    HP, Bravo.

  • Dv5 - 100%, but still in charge of battery level

    Hello!

My laptop is a Dv5-1125em. It shows a 100% battery level if it is fully charged but always keep on the led "charging". Notification Windows 7 keeps saying 100% available (plugged in,load).

I checked the battery with HP Support Assistant and the result was "Status: OK"

I'm not under any resource high consuming applications and even tried to keep for some time see if the light goes out.

When unplugged, block level decreases as usual and cool as usual after connecting. Problem is that it is always in charge even after level reaches 100%.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

Hi erico, thanks again for the reply.

As an indicator of charging battery not turn off even when laptop is not activated, I also feel that the battery has failed. Guess that there cannot be a firmware or software problem.

As battery rest at 98% constantly and laptop shuts off if suddenly, is it ok to work plugged in power until I could get a new battery.  As you can guess, the charger permanently try to charge the battery and shorten its life too?

    Any suggestions on this subject?

    Thank you very much..

Yes. He is allowed to work with connected until you replace the battery.

I suggest that using the laptop on battery in its State current would be a little risky for a workplace.
