  • on win xp can anyone tell me why the plugin container.exe is such a big eater of resources even with all plugins disabled

When I run firefox and its connected to the net I find firefox slows down my browseing experience, I studied this by looking at the XP Task Manager and with firefox running that I use between 44 and 56% of cpu resources, the culprit is plugin container.exe but why is - it because all my plugins are disabled why plugin container active at all if the plugins are used... never had this problem with older versions of firefox... any ideas?

  • Firefox hangs at random, even with all extensions disabled and new profile, but not in safe mode

From about 2 weeks ago, Firefox has been crashing. Accidents is seemingly random, but normally occurs when several pages/tabs are opened. In addition, all observed accidents occurred in the middle of some operations of the user. If I leave it just opened (and responsible), he would never crash even after a long period.

Also, accidents happen even once all extensions are disabled manually. However, it seems not to happen in Mode without failure.

After each accident, in the crash report dialog box, the 'Détails' report would not respond. However I can open reports using the command about: crashes.

Before the accident would happen, sometimes evil-following behaviors may be observed:

    • Firefox fails to render characters CJK, their view as a rather square boxes
    • Ideogram IME(Namely Google Pinyin, an IME for Simplified Chinese) is no longer can be enabled in Firefox, on a Web page element, or on the UI of Firefox itself (i.e. the address bar or the search bar)

The following has been tried but no luck:

    • Disable all extensions manually
    • Start a new profile
    • Reset Firefox
    • Uninstall/reinstall Firefox
    • Beta version of FX, 14 to 15, and then to 16

Hello Rainarrow, other users who have recently updated the graphics driver for their ati hardware (for the version of catalyst ati 12.8) reported similar accidents. • Firefox is stirred up and down even with all extensions disabled

In the last two days that my browser started to "shake", a problem I had some time ago but has managed to get rid of the advice following I found somewhere on the internet (but stupidly made a point of). I have disabled all add-ons and plug-ins, but that has not solved the problem. The only bar showing menu is the navigation bar.

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it started shaking at the time I downloaded inadvertently Hola. I removed the two programs Hola installed and followed the instructions to remove the Firefox search.

Any help would be appreciated as the jumping from top and down is more annoying.

    Do in safe mode?

Please try turning off hardware acceleration:

    Disable hardware acceleration

  • Why my self out of the taskbar hide even with automatic on masking

I have my taskbar to hide before and it worked, but now it doesn't seem to work for me

I've had my laptop reimagee two weeks ago and since then, it doesn't seem to work correctly
    any help would be appreciated

If a program is waiting for your attention, send what is called an indicator system, essentially a prescription for the operating system that "I need to be seen!  If the taskbar see this flag, it remains visible so that you can see the program which is waiting for your attention.

The "needy" program is usually blinking or highlighted to draw your attention.  Once you click it, the taskbar will return to its concealment auto car.
If you don't see any programs trying to get your attention, check the clock for a notification icon that awaits your click.

  • Dynamically place video clip on the corner and the overall position with a mouse click (button) that is always running.

Anyone know the code to find the global positioning of the coordinates X and Y of a click of a button which turns constantly,
then the code when you click the button, it displays a clip on the top-(position de x et y lorsque vous cliquez dessus) to the angle that you clicked (so the buttons are always rotating so others can click on them where they are)

to explain the context, I am designing a model to the top of an interactive round table
When someone approaches her and click on one of the buttons that move, it reads where the person has clicked on it and open a new box (video clip) where they have clicked on it (on the corner) so is not backwards if you're upstairs.

It may sound crazy that I am answering my own post.  As he complains about MigrationBasis.  I tried to go to the config.xml file and changed

    Cluster-0

    unicast

    database

    TO

    Cluster-0

    unicast

    consensus

And at least I was able to restart Server Admin and go to the Server Admin page. The Cluster-> Configuration-> Migration is always on view from database as the basis for Migration.

I'm working on a data acquisition program that uses the structure of the event to manage the graphic user interface.  I have a 'start logging' button that raises an event when the value changes and starts to collect data.  While collecting data, the program disables and gray on all controls on the front panel except the button "stop logging" that ends a while loop with in the event of data logging.  If this event is active only when you press "stop recording."  There are other events that are triggered by a mouse up/down, action others controls disabled on the front panel.  The problem is that, while the program collect data if you click on one controls disabled and gray that has a mouse up/down, event, the program seems to hang and will not push the button ' stop logging.  I don't know if his attempts to run another event, but he continues to logging data, I just can't stop it.  I have to use the Cancel button to stop the program.

The real problem is that a control, even when disabled and grayed out, can still trigger a mouse to the high-low event - controlled, it true?  Also, what happens if an event is raised during execution, another event my understanding was that a single event can run at a time.

    Thank you

    Doug

    Doug,

By reading between the lines, here a bit...  Looks like you have your data collection and logging code in the box to Start Logging event.  If so, this is part of the problem.  No other case of event cannot run until this one is over.  Move data collection and the registration code to a parallel loop.  Have this loop to sit in an inactive state until you press the Start Logging button.  Then, in case for the button change send a command via a queue to the loop of logging and out the case of the event.  The event loop is then immediately ready to respond to the next event.

Generally the code within a case of event should run quickly, no more than 10s of milliseconds for maybe 100 ms to avoid slow response to another event.

Look at the producer/consumer (events) design pattern which comes with LV for an example.

  • Update Flash keeps appearing even with disabled updates

We have a remote desktop Services environment, and we have disabled the Flash update in Control Panel. This is done by a CPL (FlashPlayerCPLApp.cpl) we have at the time of installation.

The box "never check for updates is selected.»

We have also deployed mms.cfg with the following content:

    AutoUpdateDisable = 1

    AutoUpdateInterval = 0

However, users always receive a notification of update. It started with 15 Flash. How can we configure Flash that he actually honors the settings of Control Panel?

    Hi mbovet-rzg,.

We had a bug where, on some systems, users continued to get the update of the notification, even if updates were disabled.  This bug has been fixed in a newer version of the Flash Player than what is currently installed on the system (15.0.0.189 according to your screenshot). 15.0.0.189 is old enough and we have published many patches of security since then.  Please install the last vesrion, 17.0.0.134.  It has not only the fix for the behavior you observe, but it contains also later that 15.0.0.189 is vulnerable to security patches.

In addition, there is no need to 'move' the FlashPlayerCPLApp.cpl from one system to the other.  All that is necessary is to disable AutoUpdate updates via the mms.cfg file, which tells you that you do.

  • Can Canon hfg30 I use projector with automatic adjustment setting

I shoot a lot of stage shows (musicals, games, etc.). I was shooting with the GL2, but now have Canon Vixia HF G30. With the GL2, I used the "Spotlight" setting in a car so the faces of the performers would white out. How to get the Vixia HF G30 to do the same thing? Can I use its "Spotlight" to MP4 setting "Auto mode?

    RosieZak,

I mentioned only touching Portrait in the menu setting because that's what it is set to default.  In this case, you will change to the setting of the spotlight.  In order to use the Spotlight, the camcorder must be set to manual mode.  You don't have to manually set the exposure settings if you do not want.  Even in manual mode, auto exposure can still be used.  If you set the camcorder to Auto, he chose most of the settings on its own, so the spotlight setting cannot be used specifically.  There is always a good chance that the camcorder will make the appropriate adjustments for the scene you are looking for, then you can certainly try shooting in automatic if it will work better for you.
