Event ID 10016 - the application-specific permission settings do not local Activation permission for the COM with the CLSID server application

Lately, I'm getting this system error a lot now that I've upgraded to Windows 8 Pro is an event DistributedCom 10016 ID. Here is the text of the error:

The application-specific permission settings do not local Activation permission for the COM with the CLSID server application

{D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160}

and APPID

{9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276}

the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-18) from the address LocalHost (using LRPC) running in the container of the application unavailable SID (not available). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

Anyone has an idea why I get this error?

Same thing here. Grayed. Windows 8.1 seems to fill the observer of events with many more errors than previous versions.

Edit: OK, discovered why it is grayed out. There are 2 reg key, you must set permissions before going to the Configuration of DCOM in component services. The CLSID key and the APPID key.

From another forum, although it applies to a different application, same principle:

1. open Regedit.
2. go in HKEY_Classes_Root\CLSID\ * CLSID *.
Note: * CLSID * stand for the ID that appears in your event viewer error. In your case, it is {C2F03A33-21F5-47FA-B4BB-156362A2F239}.
3. right-click on it and select authorization.
4. click on Advance and change owner to administrator. Also click on the box that will appear below the threshold of owner.
5. apply a full control.
6. close the tab, then go to HKEY_LocalMachine\Software\Classes\AppID\ * APPID *.
Note: * AppID * is the ID that appears in your event viewer. In your case, it is {316CDED5-E4AE-4B15-9113-7055D84DCC97}.
7 right-click on it and select authorization.
8. click on Advance and change the owner to administrators.
9. click on the box that will appear below the line owner.
10. click on apply and grant full control to the administrators.
11. close all tabs and navigate to the administration tool.
12. open component services.
13. click on the computer, click my computer, and then click DCOM.
14 find the corresponding service that appears on the display of the error.
15. right-click on it, and then click Properties.
16. click the Security tab, and then click Add a user. Add the SYSTEM and then apply.
17. check enable local.

Then use the relevant keys here and the DCOM Config utility should give you access greyed onareas:

CLSID:

{D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160}

and APPID

{9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276}

  • Help. I could not find activation key for MS7 so bought the new version, but cannot install the new version as system thinks old version it

How to uninstall and reinstall, or fix this problem.  I hope I didn't just buy new software I can't use :)  Thank you.

Is identical to the old version new version, which means, are of the same edition?

For example, is a copy of Windows 7 installed on Windows 7 Home Premium machine in addition to the new copy you purchased?

Because, if they are, simply update the product key:

Click Start, right click on computer

    Click on properties

Scroll down to the Windows Activation

Click on the link 'change product key '.

    Enter the product key

Click next to activate via the Internet.

If they are not the same, then you will need to do a custom installation, with the following exception.

If the new edition is greater than the current edition installed, then you can use the product key and upgrade to the new copy you purchased.

It should be higher if Starter > Home Basic > Home Premium > Professional > ultimate.

    http://www.notebooks.com/2009/10/26/Windows-7-anytime-upgrade-%E2%80%93-unlocking-more-benefits/

If it turns out to be something else, then you must use the new copy and do a custom installation:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

To learn how to change your BIOS options to boot from the DVD drive, the following tutorial:

    http://notebooks.com/2011/05/05/How-to-load-BIOS-and-change-boot-configuration/

    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

  • Unique pages for printing come with overlapping images on the previous page?

I'm new in Indesign. I finished a magazine of 192 Pages in Indesign CS5 when I export to PDF into single pages, I get a piece of the previous page always showing on the following pages. This is for the entire document. As if they are overlapped. What I am doing wrong?

When you say color, do you mean CMYK, or other space as LRGB?

I ALWAYS provide benchmarks of crop for any file that has bleed, even though I know that the RIP will remove and put in new. There is no doubt about the place where to cut if show you it.

And what do you mean by complete darkness? Do you have shades before you could really wanted? have you replaced a black K only for a 4 color 'black '? What sort of things did you do that?

A color space not authorized error means the preflight check is to look for a space of colors you want, CMYK, RGB, Lab, grayscale or Spot. The default profile doesn't look like this, so you should use a profile, and maybe this isn't what you want, so you must click on the drop down menu of upstream and go Control Panel to define Profiules and check it out. To share, 100 + mistakes of color usually indicates that your images are RGB and you have it reported as not allowed. Is NOT a fatal error, as long as you either convert to CMYK in the course of export or use of the PDF/X-4 preset that leaves the color unchanged, integrates their profiles and output mode, so the conversion is possible in the IP of the printer. You should check with the printer first, though, to make sure that thay can handle this.

Is not more or less the same question you asked in {message identifier: = 10835497}?

You must have a user to the remote database and an entry for the remote database in your tnsnames.ora file

If you have just to coil of database of remote and local database didn't need to be involved:
Edit your tnsnames.ora and add an entry with the remotedb, the information and you need to have the following information:

Ip address or the name of the server (BAMDB001?)
    Name of the service (?)
Port configured for this database. (??)

Also, you must be sure that the connectivity of your local computer to a remote server is granted (without firewall block).
Only when you have this information, you can connect to the remote database from your laptop.

From the Unix server where you connect to the database, you can get the information to be inserted in your local tnsnames.ora by typing:

    tnsping dbname

Of course, you need to replace dbname with the name of your database.
Another way is to check the remote tnsnames.ora when logged in Unix:

    cat $ORACLE_HOME\network\admin\tnsnames.ora

    and check the configuration it.

    Kind regards.

I have a laptop with Windows XP. When I try to go on homepage e-mail he says I have no internet connection, even if I do. Also, I can't run windows update. A pop up as my security settings will not allow active x but don't give me any option to change as I've seen it before. I tried everything I can think of.

    Hi SteveKey,

    ·         You use Internet Explorer to access these sites?

    ·         If so, which version?

Method 1: Run automated troubleshooting and check if it helps.

Improve performance and security in Internet Explorer

Method 2: Check to see if the following is useful.

    a. open Internet Explorer.

    b. Select tools, then Internet Options in the menu at the top of the Internet Explorer window. The Internet Options window opens.

    c. Select security from the list of tabs at the top of the Internet Options window. The Security tab appears.

    d. click on the custom level button. The security settings window opens.

    e. scroll down to download signed ActiveX controls entry and select the quick option.

    f. scroll down to Run ActiveX controls and plugins entry and select the active radio button.

    g. Select the OK button to accept the changes. You may have to restart Internet Explorer for the settings to take effect.

  • Satellite R630-14 days - which language the OS comes with

I am interested in buying the laptop Toshiba R630-14 days (model No. PT31LE-01D00HGR) from amazon.de.

On their site it says it comes with pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium, but it does not say, what language this OS comes with.

I don't have any info from amazon.de support system, since they have no detailed information about the language of the OS, so I'm asking here.

Are all laptop computers (and in particular this model) for the German market with the German version of Windows 7 Edition Home Premium or they come with English OS? If only in German, it is possible to get the replacement English version OS recovery disk?

And another thing: in the battery plug autonomy is declared as up to 12 hours. Is it achievable with the normal battery or make a need to buy a battery (12 cells) extension pack on up to 12 hrs battery life?

GR means German so that you will get the laptop with OS preinstalled in German language.

The laptop purchased in Germany are preinstalled with German OS. You can not get another disc recovery in the English language in such a case, you should use a clean Win 7 operating system in the English language.

On May 15, 2013, I was prompted to download 8 updates from Microsoft. Since then when I turn on the computer, it does not show my office. It comes with a white screen. The only way to see the desktop is at the stop 'wrong' to turn off the power to the computer. Then I reboot, it just asking if I want to boot up normally, I say Yes and all is well on the office. Hello

    Method 1:

I suggest you to select last known good Configuration in Windows Advanced options and check if it works.

    To do this:

    a. restart the computer and press the F8 key for about four to five times.

    b. you will see the that last known good Configuration in the Advanced Windows options.

    c. Select last known good Configuration and press enter.

    Method 2:

See the article and check if that helps:

What to do if Windows does not start correctly

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-to-do-if-Windows-wont-start-correctly

For more protection, use System Restore backup and restore, which is designed to help save email, photos, documents and other personal files.

Note: when checking your drive hard for errors, if bad sectors are found, it tries to repair this sector and if all the available data may be lost.

Let us know if it helps.

  • RADIUS only on the Security Server?

We have activated 2-factor by Ray and his excellent work. However now must also use 2-factor on internal connections on computers VDI. Is there a way to make the RADIUS only apply on the Security Server? We only want users outside to connect with Ray...

I'm not totally it. You say you only want authentication RADIUS to be applied on the connections to the Security server used by remote users and internal users to authenticate with just AD?

If so, the answer is Yes. Just have 2 servers connection, one for internal users and one for remote users (with a security server). A connection to the server is a standard instance and the other is a replica.

Simply configure RADIUS server remote access connection.

If I misunderstood the question, please let me know more information. Thank you.

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/APIs/beta/BlackBerry.notification.html#jbo1385148829097

But it seems that this API has not been fully implemented; It may be useful to connect a developer Issue Tracker JIRA to get this feature added.

At the same time, there is this API of Cascades that looks like what you're looking for:

Write an extension for this feature should allow you to access this feature:

At the same time, a colleague is currently working on an extension that should open many features of Qt, and I think that the API above should be accessible through this extension. He must be released over the next week or two, so you can wait for that as well.

EDIT: On this last point, see this extension which provides a mechanism for attaching in the majority of the Qt APIs.

    and APPID

    {83B33982-693D-4824-B42E-7196AE61BB05}

the user NT SERVICE\SQLAgent$ IBSQL2012 SID (S-1-5-80-485265429-2350460967-4062759752-2586802043-2488535659) from address LocalHost (using LRPC) running in the container of the application unavailable SID (not available). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool. »

I have been through a few threats and read it from another post on the internet, but under Component Services, tab of the particular service related to this message (based on its APPID) I see that SYSTEM is already added and it has the Launch Local and local Activation permissions granted to the security.

Why are we always get that number, because instead of local authorities, we should give remote "..." from LocalHost (using LRPC) address... » ?
