• Secuity log - failure (event ID 4625) auditing window

  My company manages cloud breaks via TeamViewer and RDP and on a daily basis, we get the connection attempts that have failed since random IP addresses that need to be blocked by our firewall. But the question that I have now are not IPs, but have the same event ID which is 4625. Here's the exact journal info. Keep in mind what is happening across many different server that rested on different host servers and not only segregation to the cluster of servers. I did research on the Internet on this subject, but I've not found anything consistent or definitive enough for me to make the decisive action still.

  The fields of the object indicate the account on the local system that requested the opening of session. It is more often a service such as the Server service, or a local process such as Winlogon.exe or Services.exe.

  The Logon Type field indicates the type of logon that was requested. The most common types are 2 (interactive) and 3 (network).

  Process information fields indicate which account and process on the system asked the logon.

  It is clear to me, what is the source of the problem. At this point, I must determine if it is a problem of Windows, a laptop problem, a network problem or a problem of network storage.

  I have two laptops, one running Windows 7 32 bit and the other running Windows 7 64 bit.  I have a Cisco WRT160N V2's wireless/wired network device and a WD Mybook, peripheral of storage network model WD20000H2NC.  The storage is hard wired to the network device and laptops work wireless.

  When I try to backup or portable on my book I get errors at irregular intervals.  The same thing happens if I try to copy the files to your laptop to and from the storage device.  This is a timeout error and the only option I have given is to cancel the operation.  Here are the error messages.  There is also a file with more information if necessary.

  Thanks for the responses, but they do not help me.  My problem was a network problem.  It turned out that the driver for the CARD was causing delays.  The problem was Dell didn't deliver a pilot updated but I found the Microsoft Update driver, installed and solved my problem.

  The real issue here is that these error messages are not documented by Microsoft.  Unless you want to get your credit card out and hundreds of dollars to the fork, they won't hear from me (I don't think I'm different than someone else).  This problem could be my laptop hardware, my hardware router, my device of NAS storage or software in any associated device.  I had a feeling, it was a network problem and start the troubleshooting of this area.  I noticed errors and delays.  Then, it was a process of divide and conquer.

  So does anyone have any ideas where Microsoft stores all these secret error codes?  It would have saved me fervent hours troubleshooting a simple issue.

  Hello Andrea,

  In 4.7.2 there was not much you could do in the cam itself - really you could export from the graphical interface in a spreadsheet and analysis on this basis.

  The CAM has an API, but allowing you to export reports via the interfaces of script and give you all the information you could then manipulate. You can access the documentation of the API of CAM by accessing:

  (The function "getreports" is probably what you want to watch in).

  In version 4.8 and later there was a new section of "Reporting" of the GUI you can see more details about passed and has no requirements:

• Get-VIEvent - how to export the event type?  error, warning, or info

  I know that the Get-VIEvent command allows you to specify the type of events to get back... that is to say [-Types < EventCategory [>]

  but, I want to extract all the events and export them to a CSV file. I want one of the columns to be "EventCategory", which will be ERROR, WARNING, or INFO, but I can't seem to find it.  $_. GetType(). Name gets me the type of event, but not the category.  I know that I can have my script executed 3 times (each time specifying the - parameter Types) but I want to run only once.  Any ideas?

  I worked on a few elements that should attract the event category.  The first selects a few properties, including a calculated property that gets the event category:

  ## works well if no events of type 'EventEx'## get the .Net View object of the EventManager (used for getting the event Category) $viewEventMgr = Get-View EventManager ## get some VIEvents, select a few properties, including a calculated property for EventCategory Get-VIEvent | Select FullFormattedMessage, CreatedTime, @{n="EventCategory"; e={$strThisEventType = $_.GetType().Name; ($viewEventMgr.Description.EventInfo | ?{$_.Key -eq $strThisEventType}).Category}}
  

  It becomes VIEvents (the last 100, because I did not specify the parameter - MaxSamples) and returns the properties of data.  The calculated "EventCategory" property uses the type of the VIEvent object to search for in the collection of items EventDescriptionEventDetail in ownership eventInfo found in .net object View for the EventManager.  He then grabs the 'Category' of the corresponding element of EventDescriptionEventDetail property.

  Works fine unless you have any VIEvents type "EventEx" - then, this 'research' in EventDescriptionEventDetail collection method fails, because there is more than one element of this type (there are 91 of them at the moment).

  This led me to the next bit.  It is similar to the previous method, but it handles EventEx events too:

  It seems that the EventTypeId of the event returned by Get-VIEvent is included in the first part of the property FullFormat of elements EventDescriptionEventDetail with EventEx key, separate from the rest of the value by a vertical pipe.  Thus, the EventTypeId of the VIEvents can be used to make a match on EventEx of events .net EventManager View object types to get the event 'category' (info, warning, error, user).

  You can, of course, change the Select statements to choice/choose the pieces of information you want to export and then export to a file of data as you please.

  How does do for you?

  I doubt it. If you first select the event in the node property and then add the event to the event, you do not get an accident (I don't have at least let me know if you do). However, if boring and annoying is when it happens, there is a simple solution to the problem, which probably means that it will not be fixed on the previous version.

  -my 1st post here.

  Laptop started to heat seriously about 30 months. The symptoms were:

  -fan gear at all times very quickly after the start and

  -heat extracted from this little box was such that I could not keep my hand before the exit of the fan or above it, the box more 5s touchiing. This meant temp was well above 75 ° c. imagine tweaking on your keyboard and suddenly crying out loud because you hand burned year.

  4 nights ago (literally over night), my laptop called quit.

  He has not started since. Nothing happens when I turn it on, except ironic that the fan seems to work great and the power supply LED is lit. I will also try to access the internal HD and CD/DVD drive about 4 intervals of s.

  Naturally my warranty has long expired.

  I tried:

  -connect to a display external and put under tension to see if something appeared there. Nothing.

  -boot from a CD ROM. nothing.

  -put back in place the memory modules, internal SATA HD, keyboard, pad, follow-up, the RTC CMOS 3V battery and the WLAN module, take everything I was able to take off and it reinstallation after you have checked for any Visual defect. Nothing more.

  BTW, I work regularly with a single operating system on this machine, Win XP Professional SP3.

  One more detail:

  I have reformatted and completely reinstalled my OS about 2 months after I had noticed some unpredictability as ago crashes and so on.  Which seemed to fix the grip but absolutely not overheating.

  Due to the overheating my machine had had a constant history of qualifying left the middle of anything, especially during the summer months and when I got the job of video module.  But it was normal. The thermocontacts has just done his job... until four nights ago.

  I think that the motherboard has a defective component or worse because of the heat generated? It can be repaired?

  Someone at - he a clue about this zombie case? Any help appreciated.

  Well it's not really a case of zombie. You have 2 and a half years on a laptop overheated. I would say that the little girl gave him his best shot. Probably need a few years ago had to be open and have the area/radiator/fan of the cleaned processor and the new thermal paste. At this point, I think you're looking at a motherboard replacement. It's a bit old but it was very advanced when new is therefore always a desirable computer. It is the repair:

I want to see an animation that points to the click box after 3 failed attempts.  I tried everything I can think of.  I put the LAST ATTEMPT to apply with the defined Animation effects, but no matter what I do, the animation playback depending on the timeline in the properties of the click box Panel. I also tried to set the timing for the animation object. I don't think there should be a time in the animation, it should show after that 3 unsuccessful attempts.  Be as detailed as possible if you can help.

  Apparently you did not read my last paragraph:

  "That the animation should be hidden, uncheck 'Visible output' in the properties panel." After the third attempt, the animation will play AND head out of reading. This means that if you want to stay in the slide, maybe you need to add another box to click which is a break just after the animation. »

  You must use the "Animation Show" action in the Actions panel for "after the last attempt. Who will free the read head and display the animation.
