Everything on my screen is big, unable to adapt to my resolution

everything on my screen is great, I tried to adjust my resolution, while it has managed to make writing a more normal size, it it also reduced my screen so that she does not think any monitor.  I recently did updates and if yes how to downgrade there was an upgrade that did this?  Please help, I want everything the way it was again.

Hello

Reading between the lines a bit, it sounds like you may be using a CRT monitor, is that correct?

If it is then you will need to use the CRT to display to adjust your image and position size.

If this isn't the case, then all flat screens that I saw had a 'AutoCorrect' for the current resolution. Most of the time it is a depression button (Physics) at the front (side? down?) of the screen which is normally marked "Auto", but I saw some models you should do this via a display on the screen.

To find out how to use one to display you will need to read manual of the displayed on the screen (CRT or flat).

Please mark this as useful or response if applicable.

If you speak together, this can sometimes be corrected by adjusting the display settings.  Go to start / Control Panel / customization / display settings / advanced settings / list all Modes and select a different option.  Those with a higher number usually result in images on-screen snakker (and text smallerr).  Test to see if it helps with your problem.  Once you find that you like, click OK and then again in the program.  Windows will now use this new display with all screens and programs setting.

    Hi Shilohgold,

Generally, this problem is caused because of the video card related questions. I would like to know some information about this problem so that we can help you further.

    a. press Windows + Q keys.

Also is there a way to avoid to connect every time?

The problem with these parameters is that they overlap.  The screen saver setting is perhaps not the one place to look: you should also watch your 'screen time out", as well as waiting times"lock screen ".  In addition, it could be the energy saving sleep timer.  From the point of view of the user, they all look the same (the screen turns off), but to get the desired exact situation, you may need to check up to 4 places.

    1. Right-click on the desktop > personalize > screen saver
Even if you do not use a screensaver, this timer value is used to lock the screen.  The value 'none' and make sure that the check box is disabled, it does not require a password.

  • Everything on my screen is upside down - how to get back to normal?

Somehow, I changed the settings and everything on my screen is now upside down. I can't figure out how to reverse this trend.  Your help is greatly appreciated

Rotation of the image of the screen is a feature of the graphics card and is normally caused by accidentally pressing a combination of keys. To remedy this, hold down the CTRL and Alt and press among the four arrows (up, down, left, or right) until you have the correct way upward.

Your screen is completely backwards, hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys and press the up arrow button.

Otherwise, you probably have a Rotation setting in the display properties of the graphics card. If all else fails, try to restore the system to an earlier date.

Your lowered obtained resolution. This can occur if you are running an older game that uses 800 x 600 for example.

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Then:

    Change the screen resolution

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

    See you soon.
