Evil booklet printing

I am trying to print a manual in a brochure & may seem only to print a page with the clamping bolts 1,3,5 etc. as well as 148,150,152, etc. How can I get other pages, it is to say 2,4,6 etc. and 147,149,151 to print?  I tried to print on both sides of the paper & invert pages, but nothing seems not to work... Help please.

You must consult the documentation for your printer, or ask for help on their web site.

Hi everyone, I am currently a student and I am working on a project that is a sewn catalog of saddle of 28 pages. I get my ready to print files, and I continue to by running in this issue.

I work with the Indesign CS4 PC version, and I'm going to file-> print booklet and there I put in place it upward so that it is centered on an 11 x 17 with crop marks and I print it in PDF format. The question is when open the PDF to check all my images I became a bit pixelated. All my images are the actual size of the psd of 300ppi documents and none of the links are missing.

The strange thing is when I export the file as a high quality PDF, none of the rasterization of images and the file size is much bigger than the version of the printed brochure. High quality PDF is 21 MB and PDF booklet printing is only 1.6 MB. It seems like booklet is registering as a lower quality PDF and I don't know how to fix it.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: or it's something as simple as the Acrobat of the way in which he is seen and I'm worried for nothing >. <

another edit: I ended up using the printer PostScript and Adobe Distiller created a high quality print PDF printer spreads that gave rise to no pixaltion of , but any advice on how to fix printing to PDF would be always greatly appreciated.

OK, using the Adobe PDF printer?  You plan to use one of the presets on this, do you have to return to the same default defined as your exports?  I can't test it here right now cannot tell you where to change this setting.

  • Need Estudio232 Linux driver to activate booklet print

I have an estudio232. Under Windows, I can clarify that a print job uses a different tray to print the cover, which allows me to print a booklet with a different color cover. It is essential for an aspect of my work.

Under Linux, the printer driver seems not to have this feature.
I'm missing a few details of how do?

Brochure printing: I am preparing a brochure, a bit like a small theatre program, for a big birthday gala, but can't find the information or categories that correspond to printing of booklet.  I need to know the layout of the pages, so they will print 2-1 (8 1/2 "x 11" paper) in good condition for the Assembly of the brochure.  I'm short of time.  Help, please!

  • with smart Photo 7520 booklet printing problems

I have Windows 8 & just bought HP Photosmart 7520. I'm having a lot of problems with printing as a booklet.

On the hand print Page , I chose "landscape", 1 page per sheet, & left binding. Also define the subset of booklet for "both parties".  I put the size of the paper to "Adjust the actual size" (in fact the paper size does not seem to matter). I make sure that the 'booklet' is highlighted too.

This is where things get hairy: my impressions are turned upside down when printing on both sides.

    1. I checked under the section 'Properties' that will 'Layout' & have tried to "Flip on short edge" without control "auto rotation" on the main print page
    2. I tried the same thing as above but in «back long edges»
    3. I check 'auto' turn on home page, & he checked "Flip on short edge" under properties
    4. I repeated #3 & checked "Flip on long edge" under properties

Is there something else I can do?  I'm so frustrated! (By the way, I had to go through trial & error with my first HP all-in-one, too - my 5510, but with different options of your choice) Why is it so complicated?

    Help!

I did #1 & #2 as you said under Properties / page layout; "" but I discovered this: - in the page size, - DO NOT hit "booklet" under the section layout (do in the main print section.) Page per sheet must be marked as "1" (booklet will make 2 pgs appear side by side on the half of a complete pg) also, I discovered "Flip on Long Edge" worked.

Then on the main print section I continued to keep the subset as "both sides", linking as a 'left', & Yes, portrait orientation was right (Bravo!).  I have NOT checked "auto rotation"I put the size of the page 'clean'. "  I clicked on the icon of the libretto, then to print the value * (see the tip below)

It took 2 tries to do things.  Which is weird, it's print preview showed two of them looking for the same thing, but as I said, the 2nd try worked.  Yay! I hope this will help many others.

    * Another tip: on the homepage print where the section named the pages you print, type the words "Page" next to the number.  I typed in "Page 1 - Page 4" & I got a good sampling of the entire brochure & how it would print.

    Booklet happy printing!

  • Booklet printing large format Officejet 7610

How can I go about printing a brochure without the duplex accessory?  For the moment, when I choose the booklet option in the print properties or the software I'm using, the pages are all printed on one side of the paper.  I got a Deskjet 1220C used to invite me to halfway through the work of the writing it might be completed printing the other sides.  I'm under Win 8.  Thank you

    Hi diblad1,

I can't wait to hear that you have questions.  What is the Officejet 7610 wide H912a model?  This unit should have the duplex, with automatic duplex printing accessory.  The software requires this be activated through the device settings, please see the steps which can solve the problem below.  If you prefer duplex manually, you can try a generic driver.  If a generic driver is added, use the Deskjet 9800 rather than the 990c because it supports manual two-sided printing options.  Here is a link that will provide measures for this. Click here  If you have a different unit, please let me know.

Turn on accessory in the software:

    1. go to the printer and fax folder

    2. right click on the device

    3. click on printer properties

    4. on the device settings tab, click the duplexer

    5. in the menu drop down click on install, then ok

    6. try the print job with booklet, duplex options selected

    I hope this helps!

  • How to get my printer HP officejet 4500 for the other half of my booklet print

OK, so I need to look over a form of 62pg and to make corrections.  To save ink and paper, I put have my HP Officejet 4500 printer to make a booklet, I myself connected to the printer and it only prints 31 pages 1 I hit continue, and nothing happens. It is not yet in the battery of the printer. Is there anyway that I can get the second half of the booklet on the corresponding pages?  I have page 1 but not 2, I have 3 but not 4 and so on, and I can't do singlepages cuz they have the habit of printon on the side of the writing of the book. I hope that there is a better answer that again. and the ink and the paper size.

    Hello

If I understand the problem, what you are wanting to do is to print all pages of even number. To do this, go back to the original application and choose print. When the dialog box opens, select print all the, and then in the properties page, select even pages only.

If your application does not allow for this, click on Control Panel, devices and printers, select your printer from the list that appears, then select properties and make these same selections (all; even pages only).

I think that will accomplish what you want. If this isn't the case, post it here with the results (and the error messages) and I will help you further.

Let me know if this helps you.

    Kind regards

  • How can I Portfolio PDF booklet printing options?

I am trying to print a pdf portfolio with 5 files PDF brochure and staple option. In the box print options it gives me the option to Poster size, or multiple, but the booklet is "grayed out". Is it possible to print in booklet without it?

    Hi yvonnes82821311

Sorry for the delay in response.

This print option does not work for the portfolio, which is good for the individual files.

To work around the problem, you can create individual pdf files-portfolio and print them separately.

    Kind regards

  • Booklet print preview mode is fine, but real impressions are false

I have a document of 24 pages. I am trying to print the booklet using 2-top stitching horse. The preview in the print booklet dialog box looks great - everything is in place as it should. But when I print it, in fact, it prints the same as the preview. In the screenshot below, you can see the page 4 has a picture of a tree, and page 21 has a single line of text. On the actual printing photo, you can see that the tree is printed on the right (that is, the bad side of the page), and the other actually page 23 page!

I'm pulling my hair out. My document is a multiple of 24 and I have none of the white pages in the document, and even if I did, those who are defined to print. What is going on?

Print booklet is a mess, not only my opinion but also in the view of many members of the Adobe staff.

Impose should not be the task of the designer, it is the task of the printer. You need to export single pages and bring them to your printer, if you need to make a small pamphlet, export as PDF and print as brochure of the Acrobat print dialog box. So that you can avoid postscript.

  • Booklet printing script...

    Hey there...

I'm helping a friend doing the automation of certain tasks on InDesign.

He wants to to print the document in booklet form (it's books), but it looks like it may print only as a PostScript printer... and then use Distiller to convert it to PDF.

    So, first thing first...

    I'm trying to:

    1. Set the PrintBooklet settings (fact)
    2. Set the PrintPreset settings (fact)
    3. Printing using app.activeDocument.printBooklet ();

This works but... wonder where I want to save and what name I want to give him.

I wanted to automate this completely... because I need to print twice (the book is composed of 2 printing of booklet).

Is it possible to use app.activeDocument.printBooklet (); (or other instructions) and print it out where I want to with the name I want (I do a sort of rule).

I tried app.activeDocument.printBooklet (false); but seems to be "lost in the air.

Can someone help me? Do you need all of the code or is it enough to understand what I need?

Thank you much for the help.

    Hello

Active printer supposed to be defined as postscript and

    use:

    app.activeDocument.printBookletPrintPreferences.printFile = File("fullPathToFile.ps");

as many times as you wish before you call printBooklet (false, yourPreset)

  • Booklet printing with Epson B-310

Just got an Epson B-310 with a double-sided accessory.  I'm trying to print a booklet of 8 test pages.  "The pages are 5.5" x8.5 "for folded letter-size paper.  If duplex is disabled, all the text is well positioned (centered on the page).  If I duplex with first landscape mode, the second set of pages printed on the back (pages 2.7 and 4.5) is shifted to the right 0.5 ".  If I use the second landscape mode (reverse printing) the second set of pages is shifted left 0.5 ".  Any ideas on what setting I'm missing?  Epson basically said "because we do not support Adobe InDesign I don't know what settings to you say to choose or change to the margin settings you want."  I hope it's just a setting that I have not yet found.  The previews seem correct.  Printing is offset on the pages coming out of the duplexor.

Tried that.  Shifted.  I tried OpenOffice printed brochure.  Shifted.  I tried Microsoft Word print booklet.  Shifted.  I am back to Epson asking why it's inappropriate!  Not a question of InDesign.

  • Problem of the poor quality of booklet printing

I hv experience the problem of the quality of output. The file is fairly low in resolution, while I choose print in the booklet.

I use the SAME pdf output setting. The output pdf file is better that that of the "printed in the booklet' jump «export (pdf)»

How can I solve this problem? THX A LOT

Well he ceratinly looks that you use the same settings (even if I see a 'modified' after the settings in the export dialog box, so it may not be).

That said, unless you print to a rulings of the order of 4000 lpi (and I'm not all equipment that does this), or all of these PDF files up to 600% blow when printing, there is no reason for the value of Downsample to 1800 DPI grayscale or color images. If you try to avoid the downsampling, just turn it off.

The other place to look for the divergence of qulity is in the Panel of graphics from the print dialog box. Make sure that "send data is set to 'ALL' would be the default «optimized Subsampling.»»

  • Back of each booklet printing upside down pages.

The back of the pages is printed backwards when I use the print booklet option.

I spent all afternoon on this and I finally got it! It's against intuitive to me because 17 x 11 paper is printing landscape to create the booklet, but given that the content actually comes from a document where the orientation is portrait... drum roll please... The trick is to click Portrait under orientation in the section of the booklet of the Adobe print screen. The link is on the left. I have not checked the "Auto-rotate pages within each worksheet", whatever that means.

Hope that this help scrape the future!

  • InDesign CS3 booklet printing blank Pages

    Hey,.

I have been using InDesign for a fairly long time, but it's the first time I experienced something this strange.

I use the print feature booklet to set up my book page 66 for sting on horseback. It adds 2 blank pages more to page 4 and page 1 (cover page). He throws all the décor. I have not all empty pages in my file and to be sure I unchecked print blank printer spreads in two places: print settings and window main print booklet.

The funny part is when I open previous files I've worked on, it works without the addition of pages.

Also, I need to print a brochure page 18 and it does the same thing. The strangest thing is that on this file when I delete a spread and make 16pages works normally without giving any of the white pages.

Please help me. I have a big date limited and need to print as soon as possible.

    Thank you

    J.
