Exact model of my Pavilion G6 series

Hi all

I just reinstalled my laptop and now I'm struggling with drivers

I can't take the exect model because there are many series of the G6 series, it is about 53 and I downloaded so far from the 10 already and I still cannot find the correct drivers

I can't find my model using the serial number of my laptop, using the 'find my product' of the internet

Please advice on how to find out what exactly is the model number of my cell phone

Thanks in advance

Hello

Shut down the laptop.

Click next to the ESC key as soon as you start Notepad to open the Start Menu, then choose f10 to open the Bios Menu.  You should see the complete product no. laptop series g6 listed here.

Kind regards

  • Possible to find exactly what type of laptop Pavilion G series I have?

I need to update the drivers for my laptop HP Pavilion G series, but I don't know exactly which model I have.

When I go to drivers and downloads and enter the number of my product in the box, LR717PA #ABG, it comes in white.

When I enter HP Pavilion G series, I am told that more than 100 products contain this term.

He also says to choose structured results which are the series of PC HP Pavilion laptop g6-1000, series of PC HP Pavilion laptop g6-1100, Series PC HP Pavilion laptop g6-1200 Series PC HP Pavilion laptop g6-1300 Series PC HP Pavilion laptop g6-2000, Series PC HP Pavilion laptop g6-2100, Series PC HP Pavilion laptop g6-2200, Series PC HP Pavilion laptop g6-2300.

I looked for a solution on the boards but have not found one. Most of the solutions seem involved find your model number and use it, but I already have it - LR717PA #ABG - and when I search downloads and drivers, as I said earlier, it is not recognized.

Is there somewhere on my laptop where I can find this information?

    Thank you

  • Adding a hard drive to a Pavilion 6000 series computer

My Pavilion p6210f computer blew a motherboard and I could not find a replacement card, so I bought refurbished HP computer. It seems the same, but the model number is simply: P6000 series. I want to spend the p6210f hard drive into the slot of extension on the refurbished machine. Until I opened the box, everyone sees a problem with this plan?

I am running Windows 7, so what matters.

Hello Linda820, here is the link for information on how to remove the hard drive from the Pavilion p6210f.

Look at the bottom of the page for instructions on hard drive. It is a fairly simple process.

The only real "shove" the process is the system of lock at the bottom of the hard drive cage. You can see in the photo instructions.

Since you know exactly on the other HP model, it should be the same procedure to install the disk hard of the faulty system to the recently acquired system, or close to the same.

You must cable Sata of the old system, given that the other system probably does not have one, and you need to connect to the right of the current hard drve Sata port port.

  • Try to find information about the HP Pavilion DV6000 series

Anyone know why it is so incredibly difficult to find information on the HP website about the series HP Pavilion DV6000 of computers, and where I can find if it still exists?  I have found information on other sites that indicate enough although this computer of fixation for a sis friend hopeless and I am inclined to agree with what I've seen so far, but I can't find the lists of computers that are supposed to exist indicating which computers are supposedly devastated with this 'hopeless problem', it is currently impossible for me to confirm the verdict.  I prefer finally reach my own conclusions using as much information that I can possibly understand rather than simply using opinions limited to some people, and that is why I would be very happy for any information you could give me on this issue.

The system in question is HP Pavilion DV6000 series with a specific model of DV6405US number and the system shows that it is well powered food, but when you press the power button, the only thing that happens is that the battery light flashes three times and then absolutely nothing.  If I try the system on battery only, I get no response whatsoever, and I get same answer on AC power only.  I only get the flash answer three with AC and battery connected, and that's the only answer I got from the system.  This answer will repeat as many times as I press the power button.  I tried unplugging all sources of energy and don't let the rest of the system for an hour, by pressing the power button for about a minute, reconnect the power supply and I still get no results whatsoever, unless I have reinstall the battery.  At that point, he returned to simply give me only the three flashes of light battery.

I don't know of a list of anywhere that gives all of the models affected by the Nvidia gpu failure, but I can tell you that the DV6405US has the Nvidia GeForce Go 6150 , which is well understood. Models with this gpu have been included in a regulation by Nvidia that include spare laptops. Unfortunately, the deadline under the regulations is long expired.

Several members have used the service of repair HERE and reported excellent results. And before you ask_no, I am not affiliated in any way with this service. I simply have viable options for owners to post this problem and have seen its results. One of my personal friends even recently used his service and was very happy.

    Hello:

No, you have a dv6308 as I posted above.

I gave you the page for the drivers off the dv6000 CTO because there all drivers XP and your were only a couple. Yours came with Vista, I guess.

Yes, the laptop can run a 64-bit operating system but I would install Vista or Windows 7 x 64 because it can be very difficult to find XP x 64 drivers for it.

I do not work for HP. I like just to help people with their PC.

It's the support page and drivers for your specific laptop:

I suggest start by checking all the connections inside and out of the case.  It could be as simple as a loose connection.

The beeps are called the BIOS beep codes.  Here's a guide to help you diagnose the problem:

There is a section at the bottom of the page that lists the Beep Codes for different brands of BIOS.

Sumit uo all, I got a laptop that doesn't do anything, but I need to make it work so I can work. I work serviceAgent... Thank you and that God bless you. hope I can get some feedback... Thank you again...

Hey, I understand completely on the 'problem' - Upgrade Win10 I have a laptop HP DV6 and totally corrupted upgrade the machine.  Had to restore it if support of HP recovery to get this back to a working state.

The only thing that makes the upgrade of Win10 of Win8x machines more success than Win7 machines is the most recent material.  So, in your case, the upgrade from Win7 or Win8 really is the same process.

Ms wants you to use Windows Update to upgrade - which is the less reliable way to do.  Instead, you must use the MS media creation tool and choose the option to upgrade this PC: 10 Windows Installer using the media - Windows help authoring tool

    Good luck
