Excel on two monitors, the window is uneven

I use Excel like this for years and never had a problem. Received a new computer with Windows 7 and Office 2010. Now, when I minimize Excel and stretch it across my two monitors, the window of excel is more horiztonally even on both monitors. In the secondary monitor, the bottom edge is higher than the lower edge of the primary monitor of 2.5 inch.

Help, please.

Hello

For several years I have seen the problem that shows your image.

You can see in the picture the monitor of the number 2 is offset, vertically with respect to the number of monitor 1.

You can move the monitor autour images using the mouse in the same way as you would move a shortcut on the desktop.

Place the mouse cursor on Monitor 2, hold down the left mouse button and drag the image upwards slightly until it is aligned with the number of the monitor 1.

Click apply/OK.

Test and let us know the results.

I didn't realize the L2206tm is a commercial monitor and I posted about it in the forum of home monitor products, then I copy the post here. I hope you guys can help me.

I have a custom desktop computer and I recently got two HP L2206tm monitors because they were on sale. My computer running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I have two monitors connected USB ports on the desktop, but if I touch one of the screen of one of them, the click or scroll or any action that happens on the other monitor. Is it possible, and if so, what is the easiest way to set up two monitors to use the touch screen feature? Is there a software to help make this process easier?

AFAIK, you can't touch on two screens in the calibration mode. In Clone mode, it works; but it's probably not what you're looking for.

    You can try the below:

Use the 'Tablet PC Settings' in the ' Control Panel/hardware.  Under 'Display Options', select a touch screen, hit calibrate, move the text to the selected touch screen while pressing on enter (incase you have extra monitors) then MOVE your mouse to this screen and click on the text.   Then calibrate the monitor and following the instructions in the calibration.  Once the first monitor is installed, follow these instructions again for each additional touch monitor.

  • Some subtle problems with two monitors on Windows 7

I used two monitors with your Windows 7 Desktop for quite awhile and I just had to replace a.  This is a problem which is probably easy to fix, but I don't know how to do it.

I figured out which monitor, I wanted to just in front of the keyboard (the larger one) and that I wanted on my right.  The new is more.  They both work very well, but there are two problems:

    1. the office and the taskbar are in the older monitor to the right - I do not know how to move.

    2. the mouse is confused.  He considers that the monitors are in the reverse position.  In other words, when the mouse is moved on the screen to the right, I have to move it OFF THE RIGHT EDGE OF the SCREEN to enter the screen on the left.  I know that I can get used to this, but I'd rather not have to.

    Thanks in advance.

Right-click on an empty space on the desktop and choose "Screen Resolution."

(or Panel of-> screen-> the resolution).

Above under 'Change the appearance of your screens', you should see two icons of the screen display.  Simply slide one on the right to the left of the icon on the left (so that they switch positions). Then press "OK" your way out.

To select the screen that contains the task bar, select the icon for this monitor in the same screen as above and a small box should appear below the "Multiple displays" line that says 'Make this my primary monitor '.  Just check this box and OK your way out.

  • Two monitors with Windows 7

I hope someone can give me an answer. I just bought a 2nd monitor to connect to a Dell laptop with an HDMI cable. The original monitor is connected by VGA cable. At this point, no signal shows on the 2nd monitor. What can I try?

Check the specifications of your laptop.

The integrated graphics will be able to drive an external monitor. You can use VGA or HDMI, but not both simultaneously.

I created an Excel report file programmatically using LabVIEW. I do the lines for sheet headers and store data using the program.

The requirement that I need is that when the user opens the Excel sheet, the row header should remain fixed at the top, like the leaf of scrolling down through the user.

This is possible in Excel, by clicking on the window in the menu bar and then select freeze panes/release components. The same operation that I need to do to LabVIEW. Please let me know how this can be done.

    I use LabVIEW 2009

    Thank you.

Please see this discussion. TCPlomp is an example of how to do this.

  • Two monitors does not

I've set up two monitors on my laptop.  I went to the settings and changed its expansion just as they said in the help section.  It is said that I should now be able to drag a window to the other monitor.  BUT, everytime I try, it puts just this window on that side of my screen.  It goes to the other monitor.  My other monitor is just my wallpaper showing and nothing else.  How can I change this?

    Hello

These should contribute. You can set the monitors to work as a single office (can drag and drop across
also the programs cannot be fullscreen - reduce the size) or they can be set to work as
two separate monitors where you open the programs you want on each.

I hope someone can help me with this problem of Photoshop CC. I use two monitors, the left one for my tool palettes, plugins, layers, etc. and the right to display the image I am train in full screen. After the upgrade to OS 10.10.4 I now a toolbar at the top of two window (this may have been the case before, but I've never had any problems until 10.10). Needless to say that it's a pain in the thigh. Is that what I'm stuck with or can it be turned off?
