Exception: Access to EIP Violation (0xC0000005) = 0x7198AE7A

Hi all

Exception: Access to EIP Violation (0xC0000005) = 0x7198AE7A

I make this mistake occurs on running on the version of the runtime the application after 4 days and close.  Attached is the screen shot reports and relevant.

With this application, I use cRio9075 with the Ni9425 and NI 9476 modules.

Thank you

you have LabVIEW Desktop execution Trace Toolkit? This could be a good idea to launch this program, while yours is running to see the errors, leaks memory, the memory allocations... etc. For example, if you do not close a reference, this program will show you the problem...
I hope this will help you.

    The call is then looked like this:

    It is really a workaround and Rube Goldberg solution too.

    The correct solution to this is only specify user32.dll as the name of the library and not all the way in the system directory in the configuration node dialog box call library.

    You can also simply specify a constant path on the diagram with only the name of the DLL itself speak to what you were doing, but without the need to question the path for basic system libraries, but specifying the name only in the name of the configuration library is also enough.

    When you specify only the name of the DLL without a path, the LabVIEW application Builder assumes that it is a system file and does NOT include it in the build directory. Copy any system files in your directory is never a good idea, since Windows then merges. In addition, it is actually a violation of license to copy the system files and distribute them.

    Without seeing the drivers of your reach, it's just speculation...

    Any time I have seen an accident like that of pilots, it was a call to a DLL that caused the problem. It may be that you run LV 64-bit tent called a 32-bit of the driver DLL.

  • Application builder does not

    Hi people.

    I can't build this application. When I try and open it I get the following error (also attached).

    Exception: Access to EIP Violation (0xC0000005) = 0x772D8E19

    When I run like a VI in labview, it works very well without any problems, but when I build it with the application builder I can not open the .exe file.

    The project is only 1 VI, which opens an executable file from the command line, implements a few keys to generate a QR code in the file called, then cropps it and saves it.

    Is this something to do with how I'm building the application. If it works in labview surely it should work when built.

    I've built other projects from the command line, use the .exe and they open very well, but I can't talk about it.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Select this option.

    Code too sequential sems with many duplicate ode and it uses 100% of CPU core when doing nothing. There should be a small wait in the case of fake of big business structure. Couldn't you mix together into a single table U8 once and use a single autoidenxing FOR loop? Code would take on a postcard! I would use also "build path" to create paths.

    In any case, why the UIBC use a relative path ("...) "" "\Windows\System32\user32.dll")? Try changing it to 'user32.dll' instead.

    All of a sudden NI Max stopped working on one of my development machines. Wont start, it goes directly to the journalist of Crash NI MAX. Exception: Access to EIP Violation (0xC00000005) = 0x6AC6DD70

    I tried to reinstall NI Max (by Installer configuration system). I uninstalled all the software of NOR and reinstalled. I reinstalled Visual Studio 2010 (which was on the computer). I searched old files pdm.dll, is the most in 2009, but most are from 2013.

    The computer is a virtual machine (vmware fusion) running Windows 7. NI MAX version is 5.6.0f0 and the rest of the software NOR were versions of 2013.

    I also have another virtual machine with the installation of 2013 and the same version of NI MAX I get the same error here. My 2015 machine works well with MAX OR commissioning without problems.

    Two machines that will not start on MAX worked without problem for a few years, it emerges just yesterday.

    Anyone have come across this and have an idea of what to do?

    Best regards

  • CVI executable causes an on update of Windows 10 anniversary 0xC0000005 Access Violation.

    Created executables always causes an Access Violation (0xc0000005 exception) to the closing period on Windows 10 RS1 (update of the anniversary).

    This problem occurs in LabWindows CVI 2015 and 2015 SP1.

    How to reproduce: simple program to create and compile with the (x 86) release profile by default.

    for example:

    #include "test.h".

    int ph;

    int __stdcall WinMain (HINSTANCE hInstance, HINSTANCE hPrevInstance,
    LPSTR lpszCmdLine, int nCmdShow)
    If (InitCVIRTE (hInstance, 0, 0) == 0)
    Returns - 1; / * memory * /.

    pH = LoadPanel (0, "test.uir", group of EXPERTS);
    DisplayPanel (ph);

    return 0;

    int CVICALLBACK CallExit (int, int int event, control panel,
    void * callbackData, int eventData1, int eventData2)
    switch (event)
    case EVENT_COMMIT:
    QuitUserInterface (0);
    return 0;

    The problem is visible on the control panel > reliability history > Error Reporting:

    Also the code of the executable file (exit code) is always 0xc0000005 instead of zero.

    To check out more easily code can be called the executable through file .bat:

    off @echo
    echo ExitCode = %ERRORLEVEL%

    I have observed that if multiple instances of the same program are running, only block when the last instance is closed. It seems that the problem occurs at the time that the CVI runtime is released from the ram. (The latter is only a guess)

  • Access violation on EIP - causing Crash

    I have a small VI who call the two APIs from a DLL. When I press on the register, the FI_Register_wrapper() is called, and when I press "Registration", FI_get_handle_by_name_wrapper() is called.  Two calls works perfectly. The fact that it crashes is enough evidence that your assertion that your DLL is perfect is not true! It's as simple as that!

    skariaroy wrote:

    CameraServices * cs = new CameraServices (name);

    reffrering the above code belonging to a dll. If I come back from service before allocating a memmory of type CameraServices *, not crash the program. Education CameraServices * cs = new CameraServices (name). makes the application crash. It is just a memmory allowance. Why LabVIEW even cares it?

    LabVIIEW only cares memory allocation! This is memory allocated your DLL and LabVIEW is happy to let this memory alone. No doubt well, what happens is something to this appeal does not behave properly and is damaging the memory that it does not have touch! It could be that the name parameter is something that you think it should be, and that therefore not spend you wrongly LabVIEW to your DLL, or it could be as simple as a bug in the constructor of this class. Or something added recognition as a pilot of the incompatibilities in the lower level components of your CameraServices class.

    An additional note: the code you write he will flee the CameraService object whenever you call this function. Which will not cause LabVIEW to plant well (not quickly at least until missing memory).

    I can assure you with certainty of 120%: this is not benevolent LabVIEW that you create an object of type CameraClass in your code, but it's something in the code that you have written or in code you call who misbehaves. And unfortunately your observation is not sufficient to identify the cause certainly. Leaving further appeal may seem to solve the problem, but the reality is that the bug can be somewhere completely elsewhere in your code, but leaving far who call the provision of memory is also rearranged and your bug will damage the other memory not as an essential element for LabVIEW. He can always down sooner or later.

    And it is not for lack of LabVIEW that you don't have to worry about these troubles when programming in LabVIEW. But you are programming in C (++) now, and that comes with its own and many more unpleasant questions!
