Exception of RDP on print-

Hey there, people!

I have a weird problem with RDP and connecting to a third-party server - I hope you all can help.
One user, two weeks, found himself suddenly unable to print from the RDP session.  He can exercise any other function: open a session, use the dedicated application, even print the preview panes.  However, when he tries to print - regardless of the local printer he chooses - RDP errors out with an error "Remote Desktop has stopped working' and he pours on the desktop.
The event log shows a failure in mstrc.exe, with a unknown module and the exception 0xc0000005 (Access Violation) code, but no further details.  To the best of my knowledge, neither me nor my team have not made any changes to the objects group policy or access that would cause an exception, and the RDP session is essentially a shortcut right, enough-no-frills RDP.
Can anyone offer any indication as to the root cause?  We have certainly shrunk down to the PC, but in the past, I'm stupmed.  As it comes to our CAD, I prefer not to have to rebuild his PC - but that looks like maybe our only resort.
Thanks in advance-

  • Exception - PSE8 + Windows 7 - printing

Hi, I don't know about anyone else but my PSE8 feels anything but robust on W7.  The last problem I've had is that PSE8 crashes when I try to print to the Organizer.  If I try to print in the editor, I get an error message saying maybe I intall a printer first.  This seems to be a new problem that it worked before.  Any ideas before you abandon it completely.  Thank you very much, Michael

You need to uninstall the printer and reinstall the printer.

  • Cannot print anything in color, except for the ink-jet printer test page

All prints black and white with the exception of when I print a test page for the printer itself (Dell v313).  Had no problems with it.  I called Dell and they want $129 to 'fix' my Windows problem.  No errors.  Have full ink cartridges.  Also recently installed drivers and firmware for the printer, thinking that might solve the problem.

    Hi Monte,

Did you recent hardware or changes to the software of the system?

    Method 1:

You can view the following items from Dell support and check if help.

We have a new OfficeJet 8620 Pro that we have just set up in a remote office. The user connects via rdp and vpn to another office in our network. When we connect it cannot print. It seems to imply that the 8600 series need another type of driver but I can't find the driver that he needs.

You can resolve this problem by installing the driver Laserjet 6980 on your print server as an additional driver for your printer.

  • HP D5460 Photosmart CD/DVD, process printing on Windows 7 :(

I've got installed the drivers and software for my D5460 on Windows 7.

Everything works fine, except the CD/DVD print function. Usually when I opened the tray CD/DVD on my printer, HP software automatically started the software for this feature, but now (since I have Win 7) nothing happens and I'm not able to run this program manually. So I can't do impressions on CD

    Maybe someone has any ideas?

  • All-in-one printer, HP OfficeJet 6210xi crippled

I installed my portable printer all-in-one OfficeJet 6210xi more than 4 years ago. Everything worked well. About two years ago, I replaced my PC with WinXP Pro's home computer. Everything worked well. A few months later, I bought my wife a printer wireless HP DeskJet 6980 for his iMac. The installation was easier to run from my XP PC, so I have installed the software on the iMac and the XP PC, was the game of the XP PC then both the iMac and PC XP have been able to print to the HP 6980 wireless and the XP PC has been able to use all functions of the 6210xi all-in-one printer.

Whenever there is a dialog box informing me of a software update for each printer on the XP PC or iMac, I accepted the update. Everything worked fine until a year ago, then the XP PC locked up in the middle of the scan of an image from the 6210. He had no other choice but to keep the power switch of the XP PC until the shutdown of the PC. "Windows Task Manager" can complete the task.

When I rebooted, I got a message that Windows did not find file HPSoftwareUpdate.msi. I used Windows 'Search' to find the file, but the message rejected this file. For weeks, I have ' X'ed ' on the box dialog at every reboot and everything still worked fine, but one day, when I was offered a software update and I could not receive it. The company said that it lacked HPSoftwareUpdate.msi.

I googled the problem and read that I have to uninstall and reinstall the HP software for the 6210. No help. I lived with the problem because everything worked fine, except that I could print is no longer to the XP PC HP 6980. The iMac has worked well with the 6980.

Then the problems started. At the start, after that my desktop I get a box titled "Windows Installer", and then a second box: 'Please wait while Windows tries to configure library', then a dialog box "the feature you are trying to use is on a CD or another removable disk that is not available. Insert the disc of the photo gallery and click on OK. There is a drop down menu to 'Source '. If I try to 'Browse' the first thing that appears is the PhotoGallery.msi file in the folder C:\Windows\Hewlett-Packard\Setup Files Software Update\. I tried to click on the PhotoGallery.msi file, and I get a message that "the Update\PhotoGallery.msi C:\Windows\Hewlett-Packard\Setup of HP software is not a valid package for photo gallery. Try to find the PhotoGallery.msi installation package in a folder from which you can install Photo library". I tried to use Windows Search to find all other instances of PhotoGallery.msi, but I get the same message when I click on them. I tried to use the CD supplied with the printer. No help.

I get an "error 1706. No source is valid for the product photo library is not found. Windows Installer error message cannot continue"when I exit the installation/configuration process. I have to cancel the process about 3 times before he left.

My printer works fine as a printer and I can copy and FAX from the console of the printer, but whenever I get one sheet to FAX or copy, I get a warning sound and a message that the there is a problem.

If I open "Image area" to try to scan a photo or a document, my albums are all absent and when I complete the scan, I get the same series of messages as when I reboot. The biggest difference is that the ongoing process of trying to repeat no matter how many times I Cancel. I have to use "Task Manager" to the "end task".

I uninstalled the 6210 software and reinstalled several times. I used the CD that came with the printer and also the last driver downloaded from the HP Web site package. I uninstalled the software HP 6980. Nothing seems to make a difference.

I think I have one or more of the following problems:

#1. There is the uninstall process does not remove the files
#2. There are registry entries that I need to remove
#3. There are files for the HP 6980 in folders where there should be files HP 6210

Does anyone know how to get all relevant files, registry entries and HP off my PC, apart from reinstalling Windows? I need to reinstall the software as if it was a first time install.

    FreddieVee

First I ran the file gr_uninst.exe http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ 4 times. Then I ran msicuu2.exe the "Windows Installer CleanUp Utility" (I have the link that you provided = http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301) and finally I used the EasyCleaner Registry Cleaner from ToniArts v2.0.

I decided to use the three programs rather one and then re-install and hoping that all this work.

After re-installing, using the last package of driver for my printer HP and the combination of the OS, everything works like new.

    Thank you for your advice,

    FreddieVee

  • DeskJet F4140: Printer prints wrong colors after updating windows 10

    Hi all

This is my first post here on the forums and it's a doozy.

I've updated my laptop last night from 8.1 to win to win 10.  Power seems to work well except my Deskjet F4140 printer. It prints, but the colors are false.  bruises are red, red green, green are "purple", made for an interestng very a first impression. I did all the usual stuff, troubleshooting, test the page clean and align the heads. Uninstall and reinstall to make sure it was getting the windows 10 driver, but alas my problem remains. I tried to find a way to change the mode of compataibility and can't find my file .exe for the printer. I know it's and older printer, but it works like a top and I'd hate to have to replace it because of this problem.

    TLR

update to win 10 and colors are off like hell.

    Thank you

    Robbie

Finally fixed my printer not through HP. What I had to do is access the so-called Godmode on windows 10. It allows to access all the parameters of the user as well hidden and non-hidden in one place. I went down to my printer and changed its functioning as windows 8.1 and it works as it should. You should be able to learn more about the Google's God mode command line script. Thank you and good night.

  • Issue of scanning/Printing Office Pro 8600 N911g ADF

The printer works perfectlyt except when scanning or printing through the ADF. When the charger is used to scan or print material shows a thin, but documents line strong, black from top to the bottom of the printed output (or scanned in).

This line does not appear if the document is feed into the ADF and is about 1 1/4 "from the right side of the front of the scanned doc and the same distance on the back, but on the left side. If scanned into the computer and saved the doc file scan seems to have the line in the file. I thought it might be a problem of ink cartridge, but if the analysis file has a line on it of course is not a cartridge problem. The original doc of feeding through the ADF remains prestine. Interestingly, when the line appears on the printed doc or scan does not appear to align with a roller or the device of the feeder with the module duplex or ADF.

Have completed all the steps described on the HP support site in the cleaning of the rollers, etc. on both the two the duplexer and the ADF without success. The problem occurs only when a document is fed through the ADF, so am reasonably sure that the problem is internal to this part of the unit or it could be a software driver problem.

Am a relative novice here so any help, suggestions or advice would be really appreciated.

    Hi nycampgirl,

    Thank you for your answer!

It is usually a failure ink system, error message. You use genuine HP cartridges or refills?

None of your ink cartridges are low or empty?

In the meantime, please try a hard reset by following the instructions contained in this message, How to perform a hard reset, by @Rich1. It is important that the power cable from the printer is plugged directly into the wall outlet, not a surge protector. Let me know if the message clears or not.

If you are unable to reach a resolution, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

I hope hear from you soon!

  • 6520Pavilion: modified color ink don't print computer. Copy OK

My printer is wprking Ok. Got a low ink end message. Replace all colors except black. When printing from the computer print that page with no data. Will print the outline of the box

    Hi SuperFred ,

Thanks for getting back to me!

I would recommend starting with a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I recommend also to download and run the HP print and Scan doctor.

  • LaserJet Pro 300 Color MFP M375MW print not green or red

We just bought this printer last week and everything seems to work on it except that anythin that print us it is supposed to be green out of blue, and something that print us that is supposed to be red comes out pink well. Also other colours (purple for example) seem to come out with a shadow behind it.

The only thing we can think is that the yellow is not working properly, but we are in no case the printer experts, that is why we are here today.

Is this a common problem? A way to fix it?

  • Since USB to printer wireless problem. Help!

My computer is a windows xp from 2002.  Recently, I spent a WiFi modem with connection wi - fi and got everything hooked up okay, except for the HP printer will not print from the computer now.  I can only use the printer manually now.  It shows that it is connected wireless now, but I get an error when I try to print anything the computer off "work has not print due to an error in the printery system".  I ran the wizard wireless to the printer, but still nothing.  I'm not very good at that kind of stuff.  I need someone who knows what to do, cause I sure can't seem to solve this problem.

You need to "install" your printer as a wireless printer.  The icon is now displayed in the printers and faxes is connected by USB installation.  After the wireless installation is finished, you can either leave the premiera or delete it.

For your printer user's Guide should be on the CD supplied with the printer. It may have been copied to your computer when you did the initial installation.  If you don't, go here--> http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01856408.pdf

The User Guide of your Motorola cable modem (which includes a wireless router) is here--> http://tinyurl.com/bayh7wt

I'm not sure from your description, but I think that you run the "Wireless Setup Wizard" using the controls on the front panel of the printer, as described on pages 62 and 63 of the printer User Guide.  Assuming that's what you were doing, you seem to have stopped before moving on to step 6... which is actually an entirely additional process which is described on page 66 of the use and copied below Guide.  When you perform this procedure, your computer must be connected to the cable modem, or with an Ethernet cable or its own wireless connection.
