STOP: C0000145 (ERROR of APPLICATION), the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application.
Occurs when I try to restart my laptop and ends the boot process.
03/08/11 I get this same error, and I see that nobody has answered it yet. DPR anyone has any idea other than a new image for this problem?
Rodolphe/Spyware/Malware infection, blue screens don't have an option to click OK to finish or even forget that you can click on anything. If you do not work in safe mode or even last known good configuration you can try a repair installation, but you can still loose data like that. I would just pull the information you need out of the HDD using a speaker and then wipe and start over from scratch. Don't forget to scan your files if you do not import everything using a speaker. However if you can access the mode safe mode with networking, try to download malware bytes and running (don't know how its spelled) it will remove files such as _is27.exe which is a (Rogue.Installer).

I am running windows XP 32-bit (windows XP (R) (Build 2600.XPSP_3_gdr.101209 - 1647: SP3 & IE8) and had no problems at all until I decided to have a good wipe and reinstall XP.) I have a recovery disk only.
Everything went well until I installed updates to SP3 - the service pack itself did not cause the problem only updates thereafter.I reinstalled windows 3 times now and will continue to receive these error messages:-Isass.exe failed to initialize properly, click on ok to terminate the application (OXC0000005)I also get exactly the same message with savedump.exe replacing the lsass.exeI don't know that I have no virus or anything bad like and I can not even start in safe mode. Hi petrospapamihelakis,
Looks like one of the installed program on the computer has been corrupted.
· Have you checked the problem in safe mode?
Step 1: Try to start in safe mode to see if you get the error.
Step 2: If he is able to start very well without any errors, and then try to try perform a clean boot to normal mode to check whether a third-party program is causing the problem.

I had to install a new hard drive after the death of my old. I use my Dell recovery/reinstallation disk. The first time I tried installing that it froze after the reboot. I then did a repair installation (twice) and each time got the following error:
PxShare.exe Application error.
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000135). Click OK to close the application.
It appears at the end of the installation, but when my login screen is displayed, it shows only one account, administrator and request a password. I have not configured any accounts when I did the installation and you do not have a password. I tried to enter without password, using admin as password and check-in safe mode did not help - it still asked for a password.
I don't know if the two problems are related or not.
Thanks for any help!

Lsass.exe application error application cannot initialize (0xc0000005). "
"lsass.exe application error the application failed to initialize (0xc0000005)", on a XP Pro Dell desktop computer.
I read all the answers to this problem.
He left me confused.
I'm not a guru of the PC (fair mainframes)
I'm from the old school.
I want to just fix this problem after trying all the F8 approach.
I'm about to pay someone for everything again with a wipe HD and install OS up tp SP3.Or... I can jump to the 'other side' in total! (My son has never such problems with its Apple/Mac but only complained not enough software and comes to me so that he cannot find solutions.)
I have studied this XP - OS on a Dell computer for a few days and now know enough to be dangerous.
In addition, this problem appeared after you apply a few serious fixes MS?
I don't know yet how to get the BIOS. I'm not yet technically strong (but necessarily be).
How can I download necessary patches with a white screen?
I have never tried a reinstall of XP.
I have the following CD:
* Reinstallation CD MS Win XP Home Edition (SP1 included)
(Currently up to SP3)
* Application: To reinstall Dell Tools System Software
* Dell Dimension Resource CD
Dell has 2 partitions: C:\ (the system, Windows software, etc.) and D:\ (all my data, etc.)So... There you have it. And, of course, would sincerely appreciate your help.
And Yes... I am committed to give once I have something to give back.
It's great to have someone on "this side of the fence! (my son is still laughing - %^$#@!)
trikericy,
Unfortunately, there are several things that can cause this problem, including viruses. Usually by pressing F2 when a Dell system is powered, you will have it in the BIOS. But you may need to check with Dell for your specific model. If you are able to boot from reinstall drive and enter the Recovery Console, you can run the following commands to see if they will help to clarify this.
If the recovery disc provided does not offer the console recovery or these elements do not disable upward, then you can perform a factory restore to reload Windows. You will need to check with Dell on recovery options they offer. However, since you have 2 drives, it looks like all your data will be safe and it is only a matter of reinstalling programs. If you do a factory restore, then I suggest updating Windows before reinstalling applications.
Hope this helps out.

If I update to windows 7 it will fix error application failed to initialize properly?
When I try to open certain programs I get application failed to initialize properly.
I want to know if I upgrade from Windows Vista to Windows 7 will be the mistake still be there?
Will he take it?
Thank you
Mildred W.
Hello
1. Since when are you facing this problem?
2. don't you make recent changes?
3. What is the full error message?
4. what programs you try to run?
If you upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7, once again depends on what program you use. If there is a problem with this program, you could get the same question.
If these programs are third-party programs, so I suggest to uninstall and reinstall once and check to see if the same problem happens.
Alternatively, you can also try to restore the computer to an earlier point and check if it helps:

Hello
Try the following.
Open Windows Control Panel, open programs and features, make a right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select uninstall - don't worry if you get an error at this point, just continue.
When this has completed, restart the laptop.
When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.

Hello DF2012OZ,
You are able to get in Mode safe?
If so, check in the case of the newspapers to see if you can see a similar error message. It can give more details.
Then try to run Chkdsk to check for errors. Right-click your drive, go to properties, tools and error checking. You can also do a system restore to get back before you receive the error in the Solution Explorer.

"When I try to connect my computere"HP Pravllion 553w"userinit.exe Application error comes on and says" application failed to initialize, click on ok to terminate the program. I just want to open a session. I don't know what made it? can someone help me please. Georgia
Hi, Georgia,
This could be a limitation of the fast user switching feature.
The fast user switching feature may not work if there is insufficient computer resources to create a new Winlogon service thread. When there is insufficient resources, the system may stop responding (hang), the system may lock up computer or the user may receive a Userinit.exe error application and the following error message:
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000012d)
Method 1: In these cases, some users must log on to the computer, or you must close some programs to free up the resources of the computer.
For more information, see:
A discussion on the availability of the fast user switching feature
This problem may also occur due to registry settings incorrect shell.
Method 2: Try the steps listed here.
Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
How to back up and restore the registry in Windows
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/322756

j. restart the computer.
Check if this can help you.
