Executable file runs on the C drive, but reports broken during the launch of a mapped network drive

I have a built executable.  If I take the entire exe build directory and copy it to disk target C, it works like a champ, but if I copy all the folder on a mapped network drive, I get the error message next to the runtime:

It seems not categorical, but I get no useful information. The program was built in LV2009 and 2009SP1 with the same result.
Ideas?

.NET is a security protocol that will allow you to run .NET applications (or applications that use .NET assemblies) to a network drive. This is normal.

You can configure permissions for .NET assemblies allow .NET to run from a network drive, but I never had much luck with this work in fact. (Just Google for it).

    Hello

now, I found a funny problem with one of my LV2011SP1 executables:

When I create a new executable executable file refuses to start with a 'there is an error. You need the development environment to investigate who' message.

OK, so I turn on debugging in the executable file and create a new executable file. Now: the executable runs without any problem.

    WTF?

With people with disabilities, it gives an error of debugging, there is no error with active debugging?

OK, with some experience I removed all disable conditional structures in the code (a part of the code is only called with ' runtime == TRUE "). Even this does not change this weird behavior: program works fine in environmental development and as executable with active debugging, but not as executable with disabled debugging...

    Anyone have similar experiences?

    Hello

  • LabVIEW FPGA: Not possible to create an executable file that uses the FPGA in Simulation Mode? I get a weird error code

When I try to create an executable from a host VI that has an "Open FPGA VI" reference who has run, the value "Dev computer w / Sim i/o" value, the application is built without error but when I try to run it, it opens with an arrow broken to run and has the following error:

"VI has an error of type 2302200.  The full development of LabVIEW version is necessary to correct mistakes. "In fact, he repeats this message two times in the same window for some reason any.

Moreover, I * have the LabVIEW full development version and I use 2010 SP1

While the error message is not as clear as it could be, you're right: you cannot run an executable file that tries to run an FPGA VI in the simulation.  It would be nice if there was an error in compiling.  I always forget to switch to run on the target FPGA before building my application and discover the error until I have it copied on the system in the laboratory.

  • Swf file running on the web before the end of loading

I made a catalogue of idesign and exported to an interactive swf.file.         So I now have the catalog.html and catalog.swf on my site.

But it takes 2-3 minutes after clicking on the CATALOGUE link, before you see the first page of the catalog.

Is there a setting in the file .html I can change so that the swf running already before the arrival of loading?     Say - after 10 pages loading, it starts to run and then load the rest in the background?

Generally, the SWF file is only the player and the data to load are external, such as the PDF pages. It seems, your complete catalog is a huge SWF, so it loads first, then the parts. There are much better Flash/PDF solutions for catalogues there that convert from Indesign to SWF format.

  • A Visual Basic files running in the W510

I already ordered an acer emblematic tab 510 with Windows 8 operating system. I ask to confirm if I can install exe files created empty Visual studio in the tablet. If the same is supported by the Tablet PC OS. Quick response will be very grateful.

    Thanks in advance.

Of course, you run a full version of Windows 8. You should be able to use whatever it is that you can run on a desktop equivalent.

  • ASM and SCAN listener running of the Oracle user not user network

    Hi all

    Greetings for the day!

In one of my new customer environment, I see that ASM and SCAN are running oracle user not user network, although the ORACLE_HOME is on the grid software. I read somewhere that we should run ASM and SCAN from grid not Oracle. Please let me know if I'm right and if there are consequences of the performer of the Oracle user.

OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6.5 (Santiago) 64-bit release

    Oracle RDBMS: 11204

    Oracle GI: 11204

    CAR Info: 2 node cluster.

    Thank you very much.

    AbbDBA

The important word is expected here. It is suggested that 11.2, that the separation of roles, a non-oracle account must be used for the GI. But this is not essential, and certainly not wrong to use Oracle db and IM account as long as you do not use ASM according to security features. So nothing to worry about. You're good.

  • CS5 STILL REPORTS FILES MISSING ON THE LAUNCH.

Someone has an answer for this one?

Come GB after installation under license (conversion from trial version) and after a new download and install again, the same mistakes: -.

A missing file considered tile mc_enc_mp2v.dll, then when that is clicked on past, another tile, a lack of statement of IPPMPEGDecoder.dll files

When it is clicked, still starts, but will not do anything.

I had yet to CS2. Who has never worked either. I gave up on it as I could export to DVD of PP2. However in first Pro CS5, this utility was kidnapped.

Any advice will be appreciated. Greetings from Western Australia.

I would try uninstalling/reinstalling. These are mpeg files that tranditionally were not installed with the trial. This changed with CS5.5 (or was it CS5)? In any case, I suspect that convert the trial didn't work.

  • . Alias files work with vi running in the development environment?

If I have a vi that uses the NSV or front binding to NSV by using the project library names will be they resolved since a .alias file run from the OF?

NEITHER Documentation mentions how it works for the casting of the exe.

OK now I can answer my own question... Yes they do.  The alias file is located adjancent to the project file and inherits the name of the project.

    Everything works as expected.

  • Executable file

I'm looking for advice run a stand-alone executable on a computer that does not have LabVIEW.

I understand that when I generate the executable file and move the computer free of LabVIEW, I need to install the runtime. My question relates to create multiple copies of the executable on the computer of LabVIEW-free, without having to build several copies in a first time. Am I able to copy and rename the executable file and the .ini file associated with, modified, so that it can I run more than one routine at the same time. However, this just rename the .exe file, but not the built-in vi. and I am concerned conflict of I/O communication.

Is it possible to copy the exe file and also rename the vi associated without having to re - build?

My app uses the same routine of LabVIEW to control several drilling rigs, who need exe files independent labview.

    Advice / solutions are welcome.

    Best wishes

    Concession.

Another option would be to build a master VI, that allows to launch multiple reentrant copies if your controller instrument as necessary.

  • LabVIEW 8.6 Build ends immediately with any executable file

    Hi all

By reading the subject line, I'm going to venture that many of you are probably thinking I screwed up my spec to build, but I don't think I did. : smileywink: (I'll be really embarrassed if that's the case)

I just opened a project, LabVIEW 8.5.1 to 8.6, made some changes and then tried to run my spec to build to generate an executable. Mind you, it worked perfectly for months in 8.5.1, I I know that this does not mean it will work now. The build completed immediately without special message, producing no executable file.  (see dialog box)  I thought it was some fluke by converting to 8.6, so I tried the following:

1 double, triple and quadruple check my build specifications to make sure that I don't goof somewhere

2A started around and made a new build specification (as in the good old days when versions 7.x and earlier failed)

3 move the folder of generation out of my automatic settlement hierarchy.  I thought for sure that would be the problem, but it didn't fix it.

4 mass compiled the project hierarchy, thinking that if the generation detects changes, it will start from scratch.  (Nothing).

No matter what I do, I get the immediately attached dialog box and nothing happens. Has anyone seen this?  There is something stupid that I missed?

    Thank you very much

    Jim

Okay, so after some trial and error, I managed to go beyond that...  It seems that LabVIEW has a sort of cache for the names of executable files generated by the construction specifications.  I renamed my executable file and it began to build normally...  Even if I moved the destination for the executable, it would not yet build, but rename the executable file itself fixed.  Very strange; I've never met this before.

  • Win 7 search - works does not on the mapped network drive

    Hi all

I saw that a lot of people have had problems with W7 search on indexed locations, but I have problems with research on a mapped network drive.

I'm looking for a file with the word "work" in the name of the file (file Excel) and I can see it in Explorer but research doesn't seem to be able to find it. I have not indexed location and only want it is a network drive and is big enough and I rarely research it so what I want to search Windows to do is trawl in the files at this location and tell me when it finds one that matches my search criteria. I don't like how long it takes, just that it works reliably, otherwise I can't use it at all...

Any ideas as to why it cannot find the file? Or if someone can tell me what happened to search Assistant? He's been very good to do this simple task...

    Thank you very much

    Thinqer.

I had the same problem, but I found that when I typed in the search box and clicked on the "see more results", I could click on custom and define which drive I wanted it looks without having to be indexed. It took a while for her to run, but he has finally found the file I was looking for.

  • How read the Archive.msf and .sbd files stored on the backup media without restoring the current profile?

I have stored vast e-mail Archives of files on backup media to free hard drive memory. How to read Archive.sbd and Archive.msf selected files without restoring them to the current profile? Can I create a new profile and restore it temporarily?

Tbirds mail-container has a pair of files

    (1) - name of the container (with no extension) here are all the emails one after the other.
    (2) container - name.msf one type of index, if deleted itwill be restored

If there is any subcontainers, there is also a container - name.sbd which is a directory (map)
In this directory there are new pairs or even directories.

Files without extension is the mbox files. As they exist even when there is simply a directory .sbd and not emails, you need only point to this mbox (empty) file to load the tree entire (folder - map-) use the ImportExportTools add-on.
