Hi, I have windows 8, I am facing a problem with explorer.exe. When I open my computer, he directs me to the start menu, and then do nothing, he opened the office and an unidentified error. It just says: explorer.exe with the sign of exclamation point.
can someone help me? I'm not much of a kind of technology of person. and also, I tried the scan using Norton antivirus and Microsoft System, but both detects any problems. so I guess the problem might have something to do with the registry. but I don't have NOOOOO idea how to solve this problem. Hello

Any manufacturer should provide a means of recovery, it is more often to another partition on the hard drive which is accessible at startup. See your documentation for instructions to access or post with the brand and model of your system for instructions.

As for the error, it means that you have a corrupted profile and these cannot be fixed. What you need to do is to connect to another administrator account and create one for yourself. Log in there and copy your personal files before deleting the original. The process is described in this article: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile

  • I get a RunDLL error when I start my computer

    Original title: performance DLL

I get a RunDLL error when I start my computer.  It happened for 5 days now.  The error that says:

    There was a problem starting

    C:\Users\Nathan\AppData\Local\Temp\AxIndmin.dll

The specified module could not be found

It's a malware. It has been removed from your AntiVirus Scanner and registry entries are always present to start the malicious program at startup.

Start regedit.exe and search (F3 or CTRL + F) for AxIndmin.dll and remove all the entries that you find.

  • The problem starts just today when I opened my computer and started playing with the no sound

So, basically, as the title says, my video games sounds is not recognized by my volume mixer. The problem started only today when I opened my computer and started to play with no sound. At first I thought that I had cut all the sounds but then I checked and nothing was cut and I also checked that my volume mixer didn't even have the game volume control bar to increase or decrease the sound of the video game. I also checked my device to update manager, but didn't so I get really worried about it, if you could help me that would be great.

(PS: If you need information about my computer just ask in the comments and I'll tell you what you need to know.)

Well, thanks for the time spent by only typing the answer, I really appreciate it, but I already solved... Just had to uninstall my audio driver from Device Manager and reinstall it. But now I have another problem, when I try to open any folder I gives me an error like this: "this file doesn't have any associated program that allows you to perform this action. "Install a program or if you have one, create an association in the-> default programs control panel. I also noticed that when I right click on it, it should say 'Open', but instead he said: "cmd" as the priority order.

(PS: I know this issue is off-topic but see if you can help me with this one please.)
