Explorer keeps restarting when trying to remove video

I am trying to remove the videos on my computer I already posted online. When I try windows explore appears says it restarts and restarts do not let to delete anything. How can I delete the videos?

Hello

Check with the manufacturer of all of these removed for their removal tools and/or special
instructions because they all can leave leftovers behind which can cause serius and strange questions.
Please check all programs running even if you plan to re - install.

Frankly, Norton is not high on my list because it is too bloated and often causes problems. Uninstall it
and run the Norton removal tool. The following recommendations to be used in the test, even better
permanently.

Norton Removal Tool

=============================================================

Here's what I use and recommend: (these are all free and very effective versions.)

Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with all I have
launched on them. Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx have also proven to be very
reliable and compatible. Use MSE or Avast and Prevx, Prevx 3 but not all.

Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except leaving Standard, Web, and
Operation of the network.

Prevx - Home - free

Windows Firewall

Windows Defender (is not necessary if you use MSE)

Protected IE - mode

IE 8 - SmartScreen filter WE (IE 7 phishing filter)

I also IE always start with asset if filter InPrivate IE 8.
(It may temporarily turn off with the little icon to the left of the + bottom
right of IE)

Two versions of Avast are available 5.x and 4.8 x

Avast - home - free - 5.x stop shields you do not use (except files, Web, network, &)
Shields of behavior) - double click on the icon in the Notification area - real time Orange - click on the
Shield that you want to stop - STOP. To stop the Orange icon to show an error indicator-
Click on the Orange icon - top right - settings - click on the status bar - uncheck shields you
disabled - click OK
http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download

Avast 4.8 x - home - free - stop shields, you don't need except leaving Standard, Web,.
and the network running. (Double-click the blue icon - look OK. - upper left - Shields details
Finish those you don't use).
http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download#TAB4

Or use Microsoft Security Essentials - free
http://www.Microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

Prevx works well alongside MSE or Avast

Prevx - home - free small, fast, exceptional protection CLOUD, working with other security
programs. It is a single scanner, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something come back here
or use Google to see how to remove.
http://www.prevx.com/   <-->
http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp  <-->

PCmag - Prevx - Editor's choice
http://www.PCMag.com/Article2/0, 2817,2346862,00.asp

Also get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever think malware and that
would be unusual with Avast and occasional Prevx running with the exception of a low level cookie
(not much), to UPDATE and then run it as a scanner. I have a lot of scanners and they
never find anything of note that I started to use this configuration.

I hope this helps.

  • Access is denied when trying to remove the videos.

Trying to remove a couple of old videos and when I try to delete them I get cannot delete access is denied...  Make sure that the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not in use.  How do I remove them.

The standard answer to this used to be download Unlocker, but this file is now shipped with some adware and may be refused by your anti-virus application.

So if you do not want the adware, the following steps should work (but no guarantee)

    1. Determine where the files are located (for example, C:\Documents and utilisateur\Mes Documents\My videos Settings\nom)
    2. Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
    3. Using the cd (change directory) command, navigate to the directory where the files are located.  Once you think you're in the right directory, use the dir command to list all the files in the directory and make sure that those you want to remove is here
    4. Leave the command prompt window, start the task (CTRL + ALT + DELETE) Manager
    5. Under the processes tab, find explorer.exe, right click and select "End process" (at this point, your desktop will be empty except for the command prompt window and the Task Manager)
    6. Return to the command prompt window and use the command del (delete) to delete files
    7. After you delete the files, open the Task Manager, click file > new task (run), type explorer.exe, and then click OK
    8. Close the command prompt window and the Task Manager

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded
on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is
Poster: load address of the driver, description, version, product name,.
company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit Maker as replacements and system manufacturer of device which are
the most recent. Control Panel - write - graphics card - device manager
the brand and complete model of your video card - double click - tab of the driver-
Note the version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this can do nothing
MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard
If there are 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers
    you have.

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restore)
and site (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get the manufacturer and device
their latest versions. (Look for the system to update the BIOS, Chipset and software updates
    Site of the manufacturer here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.
    REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you are
installation actually appears. This is because that some rollback of drivers before the
later is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot.
Make sure that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW to the device makers DO NOT RUN THEIR
SCANNER - check manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using
the above methods is preferable to ensure the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system
    and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable driver facilities
in the updates of Windows, which leaves on Windows updates, but it will not be installed
pilots who are generally older and cause problems. If updates provides a new
driver then hide it (right click on it) and then go get new ones manually if
    you want.

Last night, just kept windows Explorer restart top is on I stop the laptop and he did it again, but he did the same thing as soon as windows has started. I went in Mode safe reflection might be able to solve the problem there, but it's the same thing, kept windows Explorer restart Windows started. Hello

Reinstall the printer driver and your audio/sound driver. Note update drivers was also
one of the methods in the previous troubleshooting. Have you tried the clean boot method?
    Did you also run CheckDisk?

If necessary AFTER those try a repair Installation / upgrade on the spot that allows you to keep
programs and data backups however redundant are always a good idea.

You can use another DVD that aren't copy protected but you you need to own
Product key. It must be the same version 32 or 64 BIT Vista OEM. Also the system
machine to usually sell the cheap disk since you already own Windows. Don't forget to make a
good backup or 3 (security in redundancy).

  • Printer HP LaserJet CM1415fnw range: my printer HP LaserJet CM1415fnw keeps restarting when connected to my ethernet router.

I bought my printer HP Laserjet CM1415fnw color in 2013 (don't remember the exact date). The CM1415fnw printer is plugged into its own outlet and is related to a router NETGEAR Nighthawk for 2 years. My network and computers have not changed in the last 3 years.

A month ago, July 2015, the printer started reboot itself on every few minutes.

These are the things I've tried:

    1. I turned off the printer for several minutes through the turning off the switch on the side of the printer. This didn't solve my problem of restart.

    2. I turned off the printer during all night through the turning off the switch on the side of the printer. This didn't solve my problem of restart.

    3. I disconnected the printer from the outlet for several minutes and all night. printer. This didn't solve my problem of restart.

    4. I disabled the "WS-Discovery" setting to printer without success. He continued to restart.

    5. I turned off the printer and the nomad ethernet cable and cable telephone line of the printer. I then turned it on. He

slept for hours without having to reboot. I plugged the ethernet cable and it continued to remain without restarting the computer for more than an hour. I then plugged the phone line cable and less than a minute the start printer restart again. I unplugged the cable line phone again and the printer stopped restarts. My wife and I have been printing happily.

Solve the problem! NO! Last week, on July 27, 2015, the printer started reboot again. I went through the same steps as above, except that this time, whenever plugged in the ethernet cable, to the breast and a few minutes the printer would begin its restart. Some time between reboots there would be upward of long enough for a print job.

    Other things I've tried:

    1. I connected the printer directly to my computer workstation via USB and plugged the phone line cable. This great for hours of work. I could print jobs. No reboot. It is simply not the solution only when necessary. I need a network printer.

    2. I connected the printer directly to the ethernet port on my laptop with connected phone cable. It worked also. So, in this configuration, I took the opportunity to update the Firmware to date 20120216 to the 20140616.

    3. I reconnected it the printer to my router and the printer began to restart again in a few minutes.

I noticed that between reboots, with the cable connected telephone line, anytime a phone rang in the printer immediately rebooted.

I have mulitple home devices that rely on network connectivity to this printer. Statement of objections, now this printer is in offline mode to

everyone. I need to get this problem resolved as soon as POSSIBLE.  I have a temporary work around the point #6. But I need a real solution. Can someone please.

    My Configuration:

    HP LaserJet CM1415fnw

    Number of trainer: QD51YOP
    Serial number: CNH8C9KRHB
    Service ID: 21334
    FIrmware Datecode: 20140616
    Telcom Version: 04/15/01
    Controller number: 4

I want to thank you davidzuts and muj851 for your quick response and your help in this issue.

I'll give you the short history of my troubleshooting efforts and solution.

I was able to isolate restarting the printer to the computer of my wife which found in another part of the House. Anytime that I connected to his computer the printer network would start to restart within one minute. I then uninstalled all HP printer software. I reconnected it then his computer to the network. Less than a minute, the printer is entered in restart mode. After a few install and uninstall drivers HP printer soffware and I took notice that the device to print to my printer still appeared after you have uninstalled the software and drivers. I clicked on the printing device and deleted manually. After restarting the computer in a few minutes, that there was a system message stating that the device driver is to be installed.

Reinstall the drivers and the printer software to create a new instance of the CM1415FNW all-in. Uninstalling all deleted, but Moose printing device. Connected to the network caused the printer restart. Thus, looked at the queue of the printer and found that it was a document in the queue to be printed. The status of the printer showed that the document was ready for printing, but would restart the printer and the State would appear as a printing ERROR.

I cancelled the print job and the document in the queue has been removed. I then removed the printing device. When I connected my wife for the network printer computer do not restart. I have software HP printer for printer CM1415FNW reinstatlled and everything is working very well for the last two days.

A conversation with my wife discovered that the day where all the problems with the printer started she tried to print a Barnes and noble discount coupon. Something with formatting printer or N & B coupon codes caused the printer restart.

The next time this happens, I know to check the print queue.

  • Error Msg When trying to play video

Hello, here I am trying to view a video online and every time that I try to open it I get this error msg... Cannot open this helper for mms://stream.assembly.ab.ca/archive/2013-05-09-1. I have win 7 with media player 12, AVG security. At work I can play/open it without any problems... work pc has XP. Is there something wrong with my drive? Tried to update, but it says no new updates available.

Any help you can give is appreciated.

    Hey,.

Try setting Windows Media Player as the default player for playback of streaming online videos.

    a. Click Start and then type inetcpl.cpl in the search option starting then press ENTER to open the Internet Options window.

    b. click on programs, then on setting programs.

    c. click on change the AutoPlay settings in the window that opens. You will be presented with a list of programs to select when you open media in Internet Explorer. To change your Media Player for videos, for example, click the select bar to the right of the video files and you will be able to select which player you want to play all the videos that you open in Internet Explorer. You can do the same thing for audio files, images, etc.

    d. click on save when you are finished. Close Internet Explorer and start it again. Your new media player settings should now be implemented.

Note: You can choose any other program media player that is installed to make sure that the changes are applied.

  • Error when trying to play video youtube

Since 3 days when I try to play any video in youtube, it says: "an error has occurred. Please set win later. Learn more» (WinXP SP3, Firefox 30.0, Flash 14) I tried all the options shown in the Lear more link. But of no use. Videos work in IE and Chrome. I tried firefox installed Linux OS installed in the same machine. Same problem on Linux too. Help, please.

Recently it has stopped working in Chrome and IE also. I found that the reason is due to DNS servers. I disconnected my broadband and used a 3G dongle and found that everything works. Then I contacted my broadband provider. In my context, DNS was automatic. I changed it to the number assigned by them. Now the problem is solved.

    Can someone help me?
Whenever I try to close a window when I am online with internet explorer, it displays a message saying: he found an error, and you are looking for a solution, then it closes and opens again! Has anyone else encountered this problem?

    Hello

Try to keep your system up to date!
First of all, you must visit the Microsoft page and check the system for the updates and fixes:
    http://update.Microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

Update your Antivirus software because a lot of bad sites provides some viruses that could develop an IE error!

Least but not last, you must use the freeware program CCleaner. She very big application s that cleans errors with the installed programs and registry entries
