  I have Windows Vista Home Premium on a laptop Gateway.   Hello everyone, I want to install an application to the University, I built on a laptop computer for use at another University. The application uses the driver NOR-IMAQdx for acquiring 2 USB, as well as various screw cameras since the vision development module. I know that there is no legal issue with Labview Run Time of distribution engine, but I would like to know where I stand with the side of the vision of the things. To install this application on the laptop I need to purchase the Vision Development Module Run Time License and software Acquisition of Vision for this laptop, if yes, how could I inculde it in installation? I noticed that the GUI installation gives me the possibility to include engines of execution and drivers, but I don't know how it works without the permit? Also, any idea on the cost?   First the license covers the Module's development of Vision so should cover all the required drivers.

  You can download the runtime separately from here:

  You will need the license to activate it on the installation.

  Whether if it is a better idea completely, it depends on how you want to distribute your application.

  Hi, Shada, this can happen if you include additional installers to your installer for example DAQmx. When you do this the installation program must include other files like MAX (Measuremente and Automation Explorer). Probably when you installed Vision Builder he updated MAX, so when your Installer try to understand MAX, his request the source where it was installed in your computer in this case Vision Builder.

  Here you can cache information so it is not asked once again, or you can download a version more recent fo DAQmx, then it will update MAX and change the dependecy.

  Look in the category Destinations in the dialog box to create a new installer.  The construction specifications for an installer by default puts the executables in [Program Files] \YourProjectName, where [Program Files] is a token that specifies what the Program files for the PC, you are installing.  There are many other chips for other paths such as Windows, office...

  I would first try to put in a new folder under the direction of [Volume Windows] tree.  (There is a new icon of folder at the bottom of the tree).  I'm leaving the Windows volume is going to be at the root of any drive you have installed Windows on, which should be C:\

  You could also add a new directory such as c:\YourProjectName which would put an absolute path for the installation of the executable at.

  -Download nlite to www.nliteos.com.

  -ignore the form 'sessions' and continue
  -Choose pilots and the possibility to make an iso and continue

  -choose "textmode driver" mode and select all drivers in the list box (use ctrl)
  -continue to nlite and burn on a cd setup

  I have a laptop dell inspiron 1720 (PC X 86 - Based) 4.0 GB RAM with Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit), SP2 installed (6.0.6002 SP2 Build 6002).

  I was not installing anything at the time of these "problems". In fact has occurred after that I fell asleep. I ran Disk Defrag last night around 01:00 and went to sleep, then this incident occurred at 02:33. My past computer activities consist of the installation of two cards DIMM 2.0 GB new, (two cards of 1.0 GB DIMM upgrade). After installation, I made diagnostics, ran test extended memory and everything going on. I have also received 8 updates from Windows Update aprox. two hours before I started having this "problem of the event. 7 of the 8 installed updates. I think that one of the updates has caused to happen. I entered "Services" from the start menu... it say windows setup is set to automatic and not running. Should I start the service and maintain, even if im not to install anything? Please help and if possible, please explain why this "problem event" occurs when Im not install or download anything either. Finally, I ran scans of complete system by Norton and Windows Defender, nothing 'undesirables' in the computer and Disk Defrag is done.

  I don't know why JohnD - Support Engineer, MSFT, moved my "question" in the Windows Update Forum, when I put here. As I said in my original question, I have nothing installed not at this 'problem '. In fact, all of my updates appear to install correctly, (other than SP2, I've had to reinstall a clean version of Vista to do). I was sleeping at the time of the last problem report, so I know that I was not install because I was not awake, and no updates are displayed at the time of the problem.
  In any case, Microsoft helped me and I believe it's now corrected... at least temporarily. In the past, I got errors about "CBS". For this reason, microsoft has me do the following:

  Open command prompt
  run as administrator of
  type fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\
