Explorer Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience into account only one user. Other user accounts properly.

This problem deals with only one of my user accounts, where the user accounts function correctly.  When my wife logs in to his user account, it receives the error "windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience."  No ICONS or deskbar charge upward; However, my daughter and my user account functions properly.

I did a system successfully restore to a previous point, but the problem remains.

If you are still having problems with Windows Explorer crashing, I suggest to consider the suggestion offered by ShadowKat:

"Hello people, it seems that some guys out there are still having trouble with this random crashes. I have the same problem, except that it happens every time that I go to my media files on my NAS. It seems that there is a bug or something with windows that causes this problem when you access a folder to storage media like mine, especially when the size of the file is very large (archive all my discs of film there for convenience and continuous =), about 1 TB of data). Windows capable of generating thumbnail images for your files and blocks the Explorer as well.

I solved this by going to my computer > click the "Organize" (upper-left) > folder and search options > view tab check "Show icons, never thumbnails" option and uncheck the "display file on the photos." This prevents windows to generate images and solved the problem for me. Less visually flashy Yes, but at least not need a cloth and restart is).
I hope this helps and good luck!

  • Printing error: "Spooler subsystem APP has encountered a problem and needs to close."

Original title: cannot print to the network printer.__I have a net wifi Windows XP, SP 3 and an IBM laptop.

Printers seem to be installed (XP has the printer connected via USB) but when I try to print from IBM I get an error as follows:

"Subsystem spooler APP has encountered a problem and needs to close."

The printer is a HP Deskjet D2660 and the LAN is configured correctly by using the wizard.

I also discovered that the print spooler is never started.

In addition, even when I start the spooler it remains not said during the next time I start up.

Can anyone help? I've been banging my head for two weeks.

    Salvation;

    Thanks for responding.

My IBM ThinkPad running XP - Pro

My computer is a DELL and running XP-Home Edition

    Printer installed on DELL

I have a WIRELESS LAN installed by the installation wizard. The net works fine except for the printer.

Every time I start the spooler does not work. If I set the spooler of runing the choice is never registered. the next time I start up, the spooler does not work.

I finally asked some experts to solve the problem of no access to the network printer. It took them more than 4 hours (for a cost) to make it work. Everything was going well until the next day. The problem is back. My thought is that the register should be updated so it will retain the corrtions.

I downloaded the MATS_RUN.printing.exe utility. It corrects everything except this message on the Spooler subsystem.

Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

The best way to solve this maybe just create a new user account, transfer your personal data to this account, and then delete the old account. Make sure that you perform the system restore after you did the new account and everything works fine. To purge the system restore, simply disable it then again. Be aware that the creation of a new user account is not the means to get rid of malware. But it is perhaps the best way to get rid of some of the after effects. However, I recommend you scan with Malwarebytes before running these instructions. After scanning you may not create the new account.

In addition, Jose is correct. Good number of new forms of malware prevent the start in safe mode. Trying to force booting in SafeMode with msconfig, you end up with a boot loop.

  • How can repair you windows explore-"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close."

As of late, when I open any photo or video files (those that I opened in the past) I get that dreaded "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close... blah, blah, blah!

I could not find any information on this error, except the one person that I know who maintains computers of the University of Missouri, said that he had this problem, and it was somehow related to the fact that he had too many thumbnails in the folder/drive.

I didn't think that this is the case and think it is much more insidious than that.  Could use any help to solve this issue up to and including the repair of Windows Explorer (with the hope that I don't have to reloadt the operating system).

    Thanks in advance!

  • In XP randomly receive error message "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close"

I get the error message "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close".
It occurs at any moment while I'll do something on my computer.
The signature of the error is,
    App name: explorer.exe
    App version: 6.0.2900.5512
    The mod name: unknown
    Mod Version: 0.0.0.0
    Offset: 4ec683bd

After the error message appears and I click 'send or do not send', everything on the screen refreshes, & I have to reset some programs.

I am unable to do a system restore to solve the problem because I have no good restore point before this problem occurs. He began to occur initially in Jan 2011 & I can't go to a restore point of return in 2010.

    Can someone please?

    Hi Jaaz76

    Method 1:

You can perform a security analysis and check if there are viruses or malware present. Check out the link below to run the scan and check if this helps-

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Method 2:

Also I suggest you perform a SFC scan and check. To Perform a Scan SFC -

    a. click Start, click programs, on Accessoriesprincipally made, right click guestand then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow

    b. type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

    c. a message indicating that "the system scan will start. Be patient, because the analysis may take some time

    d. If all files require a SFC replace will replace them. Hopefully though you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

    e. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

Check the link below for further guidance on scan SFC - mentioned
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310747

    I hope this helps.

    BuggyG,
I saw that error and even if it says access denied it will actually save your changes.  After you disable all move forward and apply then restart and see if it kept the changes.  If it's not then I hope that you are able to borrow a disc it would in time look for resettlement.
