Export for DVD problems

Hi all

I have 2 projects each about 2 h 20 min that I exported separately on a DVD.  For double layer.

I have 2 main questions:

Since someone else is burning I choose-> export to the file share. No DVD.

I choose the default settings - H264 and MP4 says at the bottom of the sharing window.

1. when the DVD burning man tries to burn using Toast (it is on a Mac) Toast told him that he does not like the file

(not sure of the details) before it will start burning so he expresses it by Isoft software converting somehow

and then Toast accepts files. Why aren't already for Toast?

I'll have more details on the message.

separate question:

2. he gets a failure of regular burning sometime during combustion. It just fails and not much to do.

Could it have something to do with the size of Reolution I choose: 854 x...

Choose publication vs Mastering in the window export?

Any idea?

Thank you

Al

Usually I would say export as a picture disc, but I don't know if Toast will be a pleasure to burn double-layer media *.

An alternative is to open the library (reveal in Finder > Show Package Contents > shared items and drag the m2v and AC3 files out of the library.) (Note: it is important to do before leaving Final Cut in this editing session because all the files in this folder will be deleted when you leave.) The recorded files should be OK as a source files with toasted bread.

Edit: * safe enough that will not work with an img created by FCP.

  • Exported export for DVD - video plays too fast

    Hello useful people!

I am relatively new to first - but familiar with Final Cut. With the help of Adobe first Pro CC v8.1 on Mac.  I have a video that was filmed in 1080 p, and I took the settings for the sequence in function (or so I think).

The video is superb in the first and I need to create DVDs to send to England (I'm American), and they should be able to play in a standard dvd player there. My understanding is that PAL would be the wisest choice for encoding. I try to keep the simple export, and I exported several times using PAL and NTSC and while audio files are fine - for PAL and NTSC, video files are significantly shorter than the actual film and plays in a kind of fast forward. First, the film plays 17 minutes, but when I open the exported .m2v files they play only at 14:33,- or that I have finally (somehow) got up to 15:00 minutes. Only 15 minutes we got of not to tweak the settings at all - on the previous, I had read somewhere to increase the bit rate and use VBR pass 2 for best results. However, 2 minutes is still a big problem.

Here are the screenshots of the sequence settings and export settings more simple I used - example of the NTSC.

Any help is very appreciated! Thank you

  • Project yet for DVD & Blu - ray - I can clone it?

    Hello

I have a video ready to be exported from PremierePro and recorded in PAL 16:9 Full HD. Now, I need to create a DVD and a Blu - ray of the same video disc.

I want to only create a project and then clone so that I can use it for both media.

I have already created a project yet, pick a HD theme. I have now completed everything: I've only worked on the menu but no video, jet.

I would like to know if I can now duplicate the folder and dedicate a folder (still draft) for the DVD and the other folder for Blu - Ray or if this is not possible. I think this should be possible, because if the video is 16:9 for the two media there should be no difference; but do not know.

Don't forget, I've changed most of what the HD model had. I used just a few things.

If this is not possible, can you please teach me how to work on the menus and the preparation of the DVD, before I have to insert the video, once when I create two separate circles in order to reproduce the customizations?

I wish to create two projects still separate and do create all the menu from scratch twice.

Also, is there a valid book that I can buy being devoted to yet or is not required (perhaps because there is a lot of documentation on the Internet)? I learn properly.

    Thank you

In theory, this should be possible, but in reality I would create certainly 2 separate projects.

The main reason is that Blu - ray is 1920 x 1080 square pixels, DVD-video is 720 x 576 (PAL - more on this subject in a minute), and the pixels are rectangular, with the report being in the area of 1.4 PAL: 1 that can destroy a menu if simply scale you down because not only you lose half of your resolution vertical & almost 2/3 of your horizontal resolution , the pixels will be being stretched as well horizontally.

For these reasons, you will need to choose fonts on the screen very carefully for the DVD version and I would be absolutely for certainty make 2 separate menu fixed if it was my project.

PAL is not really an ideal standard to use, as it has a rate of 25 frames per second and you're simply unplayable outside the EU on the vast majority of the players & TV systems - you will definitely trouble to Japan & US.

To make things even more difficult, you can't use progressive scan in PAL resolution either - it's just not in the Blu - ray standard - you will need to use interlaced.

The video is probably the least of your worries, however. First & still may reduce but also make the necessary encoding MPEG-2 for DVD - personally I'd this separate 2 processes, review the decline in SD resolution first to a provisional 10-bit lossless codec and this review of a problem before I did the final version of MPEG-2 for DVD.

    Hope this helps

  • Export of DVD size

I created the FPX 10.2 videos I want to combine on a single DVD.  Two videos have been created and edited in HD 1920 x 1080.  I use Apple settings for DVD (mpeg-2 and AC3 DD) export compressor 4.2 using export video and audio streams.  The combined size of the two videos is barely higher than the limit of 4.7 GB of a standard DVD.  I remember in earlier versions of the compressor that there are fairly simple adjustments that I could do to decrease the size of the mpeg stream without too much adverse effect on the quality of the video.  However, danged if I can remember what I did.

    Thank you very much...

    Carl

    Hi Carl.

The adjustment is the bit rate slider, which is in the video pane of the Inspector. Select the MPEG2 in batch processing window. In the Inspector > video, clear the automatic check box. Will allow you to drop the bitrate to its default value for where the combined video can adapt.

    Good luck.

WIN XP SP3 plus all updates.

It is a follow-up to discussion groups.

    In December 2009, I bought a new LiteOn IHAP322-22 x DVD.

I recently used my drive OEM XP SP2 or it to start my computer I get intermittent BSOD so I have been using a disk iso boot if necessary.

A few weeks later he land at the stop, it is up to the provider.

Have been able to start the computer without the need of the boot disk, I took the opportunity to make a backup with the new dvd.
After having done that, I checked to see that everything was safely on disk only to find it's blank - nothing show.  I put the disk in a laptop and all backup files were there.

I tried different types of discs, DVD video, music video,
other backup discs and discs of recorded and all text are empty.
I also checked in the hardware Manager - device working properly - no warning - tried to update driver [Microsoft 5.1.2535.0] but the one I have is - this - no driver for restore.  Tried the troubleshooting and not help.  Uninstall/install any help.  Lite we confirmed, I got the correct driver.

I returned the object under warranty to the supplier - I have been informed that the dvd was defective - new one sent.

This has had the same problem as that returned.  NO2 has been collected and even once has been tested and found to be defective - new one sent - same problems - No3 collected and have the same problem as the others.  [Has been said that the next [4]] would be tested before shipping.  No. 4 did not operate either. The box has been opened so presumed it had been tested.

Upon receipt of each new article I did the following -

Ckecked in device - no display problem - tried the "convenience store" - negative management.  Uninstall/install driver - negative.

    I tried run/regedit entry-

    Hello

You can Google DVD decoders and find several good ones. One is usually supplied with the system
    or the CD/DVD drive.

You are right that sometimes it's easier to re - install Windows however most of these CD/DVD problems
can be fixed in a step or two. Sometimes, nothing works except a re-installation.

  • export to DVD of the first CC Pro

    Hello

I have the monthly subscription to Adobe and I'm trying to create my first pro DVDs. I send Media encode but it create 2 the m2v and wav files. I see the forum suggests a software called again but I do not see it in one of Adobe applications. So, can I export to DVD using my existing monthly subscription of Adobe applications game? Or do I now have to pay more money to get another software to take these 2 files and create the DVD?

    Thank you

    Amir

Still is optical disc authoring software made by Adobe. You use the software CD-ROM to take files from media encode and burn a decoder compatible with DVD players disc. Also use software to add disc menus, etc. of CD-ROM creation.

Still is no longer under active development - but there are always intended for the subscribers of Adobe CC.

    Carefully follow the instructions here:

    to download Adobe Encore.

Your other option is to use the third party CD-ROM creation software.

  • I can't install the DPS to export for PowerPoint

    Dear all,

I'm following this URL: Digital Publishing Suite help | DPS to export for PowerPoint

We use Office 365 and I have problem like this. Thank you

    cant-install.pngaddin.png

Sorry for the delay in replying, but we believe that it is because you have the 64-bit version of Office installed, which is not supported by the DPS to export the PowerPoint Plug-in. You must use the 32-bit version of Office (which is what recommends Microsoft, see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee681792.aspx)

  • CS5 direct export to dvd

I can't have a little chance direct export to DVD without going through yet. I export to media, I tried several selections but no selection of dvd release.

    Hello

There is no way directly export a DVD of first. You have to use again.

When you export a file from the dialog box export settings for use in DVD or Blu - ray Disc creation, select the right format for the middle of the target. For a single-layer or double-layer DVD, select MPEG2-DVD. For the Blu - ray single layer or double layer discs, select MPEG2 Blu - ray or H.264 Blu - ray.

    Thank you!

  • PPro CS2 - export to DVD gray - help?

I have a recorded movie (this is a group of some 15 or 20 clips/sequences) and now that I'm about to upgrade my laptop with a larger drive soon, I would like to burn to a DVD for playback of these clips as a film with menus like a store bought dvd movie, but before I burn to DVD , I would like to burn each clip (they are in the format *.ppro) in a folder on my current hard drive so I can test them for playback in VLC media player.

I also have Adobe CS2 Encore too.

So I opened one of these clips in my CS 2 body, is go to file > export to DVD > burn on file but why the "Burn" grayed out in the menu button export?

I tried this several times today, last time I tried this I tried to click on the source monitor Panel in the body, and then repeat the export to dvd, but again the button burn is grayed out.

I lesson 17 export to DVD on pages 482-483 in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 class in a book faithfully, but it does not always work for me.

    Can someone help me please?

    Thanks in advance.

PrPro 2.0, you can export > film and produce a DV - AVI, which will allow to import correctly into yet. I recommend to do two products: one for video and one for Audio only.

We can also export by SOUL (Adobe Media Encoder), and then choose MPEG-2 DVD. Again, I would export in the form of only two video files and Audio only. Those will also import in still and do not transcode. If sure the DVD MPEG-2 is chosen and not another form of MPEG-2.

  • 'Class' for export for ActionScript is not accessible

I am trying to export audio files with sound properties > export for ActionScript. However, for some reason, the 'Class' box is greyed out and inaccessible. I tried a number of different files: .mp3, .wav, .aif, but class is always grayed out.

What is the problem? Is there some sort of workaround?

lol the coding will be significantly different for as2.

to begin, you will need to use a connection identifier (for example, the soundID) to restore the sounds, not a class name.

Then, you need to apply attachSound to a sound instance.

    var s:Sound = new Sound();

    s.attachSound ("soundID");

    s.Start ();

    and then continue the differences:
