Export in the background

Hi all

Suppose, I forgot to put a traditional export in the background.

And during the middle of the export operation, how can I put the same task in the background.

I tried with CTRL + Z [to work], then command bg.

but it is to show

[oracle@linux ~] $ bg

-bash: bg: current: no such work

Thank you

Hello

There is a way - I finally got round to write a blog post about it

  • [LIKE CS5] Export a PDF file in the background

    Then CS5 has background export to PDF files. If I have a script that exports several PDFs or JPGs etc, as each page individually or several parameters in the order (or at the same time now?), how know when it is done? AppleScript normally "expects" that the process is done. But now what happens? How can I know that exporting is done and I can close the file, or PDFs are made successfully?

    In my view, that there is now a "background task" class and a command ' wait for task. Examples on how to work with who? (Sorry I have not had time to work on it right now, working on other things IDCS5/Snow Leopard yet.)

    TIA, Chris

    If your script still uses the document. exportFile(), nothing will change. For example, the following code always works:

    t = app.activeDocument.exportFile(ExportFormat.pdfType, File("~/Desktop/Test.pdf"));
    alert("Task is done")

    If you want to use the "background" feature, you will need to use document.asynchronousExportFile ().  AsynchronousExportFile returns a background task, which is the waitForTask() method.  You can use something like this:

    t = app.activeDocument.asynchronousExportFile(ExportFormat.pdfType, File("~/Desktop/Test.pdf"));
    t.waitForTask();
    alert("Task is done")

    This export your document to PDF using a background task, wait for export to fill and then displays an alert.  The problem is that you lose the benefits of a background task (that is, you can do other things while the file export in the background).

    The backgroundTask object has a status property, which returns the status of the task, including TaskState.COMPLETED.  You could probably add an event listener to check the change of State of TaskState.RUNNING to TaskState.COMPLETED.  When I get a little more time later, I'll check and try to provide a code example.

    Once again, if your concern is the behavior of scripts you already have, then nothing should change.  If you are looking to take advantage of the new substantive tasks, there is work to do.

  • Is there a way to export the background color "paper"?

    We try to get a PDF export of our publication which has a pink background for for breast cancer awareness month. I go to shades and select a pink color. Everything is superb. When I export and open the PDF file in Acrobat, the background is white. Is there a way to export grade "paper" with the rest of the page?

    Yes, you would need two versions for this question.

  • Change the background color to indesign, PDF export

    Hello

    I'm changing the background color on my document in indesign. I export the document in PDF format. I have already read some threads and can't seem to find an answer. Yes, I tried the whole thing of pages and I am well aware that it is for preview only.

    I read something that says to a framework and that will keep the background color to a pdf file. I'm new to indesign and have NO IDEA how to use it. Can someone please explain in dummy steps for me.

    Thank you.

    1. Working with layers
    2. On the master draw a color image in the backstory as lost on the lowest layer.
    3. Set up you pages on this basic form.
  • Remove the background of a PDF exported from Powerpoint

    Hi, I have a copy of an exported PDF file of Powerpoint. I do not have the powerpoint file.

    How can I remove the background of the powerpoint slides?

    I want to just print the text.

    To the user using acrobat x pro, to remove the background of your powerpoint slides in PDF format.

    Go in Tools > Content > edit text & object > modify object.

    Select the background image you want to delete, right click on it to remove it.

    You may need to repeat a few times by slide, because the substance may contain more than one object/image.

    It took me 15 minutes to find this tool! :-(

  • How to put the "counting" effect as a video in the background of another video play WITHOUT him covering the original video?

    If you got confused of what I said, I'm basically saying that I put the color to count the white text, but the white color will cover up to another video I play there not "transparent" color? Thank you!!

    How is this created "count"? With the help of a generator of FCP X? Or is it a separate video that you created?

    If it's a separate video, you need make the background transparent and must be exported in a codec that supports alpha channels - it would be ProRes 4444.

  • First HP: Change the background color of a cell in the spreadsheet app (program)

    I created a very simple program to change the background color of two cells in the speradsheet application:

    First version of HP 2015 6 17. 8151 Rev

    1. EXPORT BGCOLORCHANGE()

    2. START TO

    3 STARTAPP("Spreadsheet");    Application of the open worksheet

    4 STARTVIEW (2,3);    in the symbolic view

    5 Cell (1,1,7): = RGB (0,255,0);    cell A1 green paint

    6 cell (1,2,7): = 31744;    red paint A2 cell

    7. END;

    PROBLEM: instruction 6 works, but section 5 only. Why?

    Thank you!

    The background color of worksheet uses 5 bits per color channel, then the function RGB() expects 8 bits per channel.

    The background color of worksheet can be calculated by: R * 32 ^ 2 + G * 32 + B where R, G and B are between 0 and 31 inclusive.

  • Why change the background image of the dashboard of data crash the app?

    I'm changing the background image of my dashboard (on a third generation iPad).  Whenever I try to make the change, the data dashobard app breaks down just.  Even if I try to change to a color, the application crashes.  I can insert a picture without problem.  I guess it's just a bug or something but has anyone else seen this problem?

    I was able to reproduce this crash with the following steps:

    -Set up a background image of a page

    -Copy the dashboard somehow. You can reproduce the dashboard, share by email, export and re - import OR clouds, etc.

    -Open the copy of dashboard

    -From the copy, change the background image (for a solid color or another image)

    If you set a background image of a page, close and reopen your dashboard and then try to change the background to something else, you will encounter this error.

    Solution: If you have the original background image in your Camera Roll, you can fall as an image on the same page (Photo Palette, select in the library). Then you can remove this image and change the background also image.

    If you do not have the original image, you may need to start with a new dashboard. (For each page on the old dashboard, you can tap the bottom, select all, copy / paste on another dashboard).

    There is a similar problem with images removed, if you shared the dashboard and you work on a copy. In this case, the solution is to copy and paste the image before deleting. (Otherwise, you'll get a dialog error instead of an accident, but the image is not clear).

    I deposited cars for these issues internally. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Export of the PSD to JPEG - old changes appear which are not in the new files/miniatures

    Hello!

    I use Lightroom for batch PSD to JPEG. Bad, I edited this file before and exported from Lightroom. Once I noticed, I opened these files in Photoshop, make a new pure white background and hidden each layer. Burning changes that I made previously were not visible anywhere in the files, even after that I imported into Lightroom. Thumbnails all looked correct. After that I exported them, the files have the old changes on them. I don't understand why this is happening or what I'm doing wrong. Please see picture below before and after Lightroom export.

    Help, please! Thank you!

  • . OAM file doesn't have the background transparent in Muse

    Why the hell can't figure out how to get a background transparent for my . OAM file in Muse? I published in CC animate with the background transparent/Stadium controlled parameters. I have tried workaround HTML people have posted and who does not either. When I published as a .swf file, it worked on my desk, but not on my iPhone. Why is - that so much to ask? I feel like this is a very important to have. The answer shouldn't be complicated. If this is the case, it's a real shame. I would appreciate any advice on this. I lost my entire Saturday afternoon trying to figure out. Thank you.

    To export files transparent OAM of HTML5 Canvas in CC documents to animate, you can try this:

    Add the extract of the following code in the Actions Panel on the first image before exporting it:

    canvas.style.backgroundColor = "rgba (0,0,0,0)"; "

    document.body.style.backgroundColor = 'rgba (0,0,0,0);

  • Why can't I export on black background?

    I export my logo on black background, but when I see my documents, it is on a white background.

    Place a filled rectangle of black on the background layer and send to back or add a new layer with the rectangle and drag it to the bottom of the layer panel. As says Jacob to make a color paper to change in the preparation of the Document won't do it. It's just for ease so design for print on a certain color paper.

  • Trouble matching the color of the background of my displays the color of the background of a chart saved in the PDF format

    Hello!

    I have produced a graph in matlab with a background color of R = 20 G = 33, B = 43. I saved then this background to PDF using export_fig (for some reason that this process has changed a bit the background color). Now I'm trying to match the background color of my poster of the graph, but given that the color has changed in the export process, I don't remember the RGB values. I tried to use the eyedropper on the PDF image, but the software said that it based the color measurement on a low-resolution RGB version since it's a PDF file, which ends up making the color applied to the background of the different poster than the chart.

    So, I essentially need to precisely define the RGB values of the bottom of my chart.

    Thanks for any help! If there is no confusion, I could send you my chart.

    I don't remember the RGB values.

    You can check values chromatic AcrobatPro matlab via print > overview of output > object Inspector. Here I chose the object Inspector of the popup preview and clicked on the object I want to taste.

    I can see that the profile is sRGB and values of color in the form of percentages. To convert the percentages in ID RGB values multiplied by 256 (for example the channel red est.07800 x 256 = 20). Make sure the RGB profile assigned in your InDesign document is the same profile and plugin your background color of RGB RGB numbers.
