  txt is not a format. Really. It's just text, and so there is no right way to do it.   It was a quick way to all layers in an export for the web file.

  I'm on CC 2015 and that you want to use this script, but I can't.

  Don't drag the videos from the browser.  Select the videos, use "file > export > export original...". ».

  When you drag a thumbnail on the desktop, Photos will export a new file preview, and this will have a different creation date.  If you export the original video file, it will keep the creation date.

  This is probably because your using the Clipboard that discards the data.

  Try to crop your photo and recording. You can always cancel the harvest after saving if you want to do something in the photo.
