Export release build crashing in appworld test

I'm developing an application BB10 and on both debug and run options with Momentics IDE works app.

The problem comes when I am doing export release build. Then the application does not start, not even the splashscreen.

Could be cause by a bad created .bar file?

I tried to submit the application for the Blackberry world, and they have the same problem.

Well, then you have a problem of signature.

Look through this and confirm that you have followed all the steps...

  • Export release build, not including data XML files in the apk package

    Hi, all.

I have a flash pro project I packed for AIR according to these steps:

    http://Renaun.com/blog/2011/09/using-Flash-builders-mobile-workflow-with-Flash-professiona l-projects.

    There are two differences:

    1. I am loading XML from right next to the swf files
    2. The Flash Pro project and the project Mobile share a directory that is outside of these two projects (this was the workflow already established in the public Service, given that several sovereign wealth funds share the same XML file).

When I test this on my phone, it adds the XML files to the apk and everything works great. The problem I have is that the export Release Build does not include XML files, and I don't see anything in the Flash Builder interface that looks like it will allow me to add more files than the swf file and the app.xml.

    What Miss me?

Love - your comments helped me to think about this and get to the essential part that missed me. I've marked it useful, because it has shown the way.

I'm not a big fan of scoring own "correct" answers, but I'll do this time so that people can easily find the steps.

The error I thought that the "Debug on the device" was wrong to get an AIR debug version, because the swf file was not a debug swf.

I did not understand that if I clicked on the button run, it would also be a version out to push to the unit, and that this version would not give the message "waiting to connect to the debugger.

The entire process that you get when you click on 'Run' is a little weird (I say this to those who have never tried). It will install the application on the device, but does not launch (I think that this is impossible). Flash Builder crashes and then in "Installation application to the device. If you look at the screen, you will see a new download in your notifications bar, and from here you can launch the application.

    To summarize:

    1. To start your swf Flash Pro package for Air using Flash Builder, follow the steps in Renaun (http://renaun.com/blog/2011/09/using-flash-builders-mobile-workflow-with-flash-professiona l-projects /)
    2. Doing this work on Mobile, you have probably installed on your phone in debug version. This uninstall using Astro File Manager (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.metago.astro&hl=en)
    3. Instead click the "Debug" button in Flash Builder, click on 'run '. This makes an apk without debugging and pushed back them to your phone (if your Setup allows debugging of the device).

Additional notes: If you have xml files that are packaged in the apk file and you are using URLLoader (because the app originated as a web application), add "app: /" at the beginning of the URL string you use. Thus, "xml/myFile.xml" becomes "app:/xml/myFile.xml". If you need to keep your original web application logic, add a conditional on Capabilities.playerType == "Desktop. »

  • Cannot export release build

    Hello

I created an application based on the Bluetooth SPP cat example, I now release and submit to the BlackBerry World for sale. However, whenever I try to build the application, I get an error complaining an invalid active path. I tried everything I could think of to fix the error, but I'm in over my head here and don't understand what goes wrong. To verify that my key works, I've tried to sign a simple "HelloWorld" application and the release of build has worked well with this app. However, whenever I go back to my app built based on the example of cat Bluetooth SPP export version build fails.

I then decided to try to do an export release build on the example of cat Bluetooth SPP directly and I found myself with the same error. He is shown below.

    Package failed: 1
Error: Path access valid asset 'arm/o.le-v7/libbluetoothsppchat.so.1.0.0 '.

If someone can please help me with this problem I would really appreciate it. At the moment is to prevent to release my app World de BlackBerry and I'm not very happy about it, especially after I spent a lot of time to get the application going in the first place.

Wow, I spent so much time on it and the solution was right under my nose...

I have my loan application. It does not correctly work in the emulator. Now, I want to create the version that I can submit to the App World. I use Flash Builder Burrito. That's what I do.

  • Cannot export release build for AIR app...

Flash Builder 4.7 won't let me export a release build for AIR applications to all the...

All started when I wanted to make some changes to an old AIR application. Could not even run in the debugger, so I updated the AIR SDK (using instructions available here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-builder/kb/overlay-air-sdk-flash-builder.html and here: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/how-overlay-air-sdk-flex-sdk.html )

So after doing all this and a few other changes, I finally got my AIR application to run the debugger in Flash Builder 4.7. The changes I wanted to make, and then tried to export Release Build... Kept giving me an error "Incorrect password for this certificate" every time that I tried it - but she would never let me enter a password. I went to the project. Release Build, export and on the first screen, I have to click on 'Next' and he jumped directly to the compilation, jumping on the screen where you are supposed to be able to enter the password and certificate information.

Thought that maybe because it was an old AIR project, which was causing the problem. So I started a new project AIR - one very simple with just a < s:Label > inside a < s:WindowedApplication >. Project | Properties | Flash Builder package and created a brand new self-signed certificate (which seemed to work) but once again trying to export release build, he wouldn't let me get to the screen where you enter the password. By clicking 'Next' in the first screen on project | Export Release Build jumps just directly to the compilation and (of course) it gives me the error of Incorrect password, because he never gave me a chance to enter the password.

So what is happening here? Why not export commercial versions for AIR projects? It's extremely frustrating - Flash Builder 4.6 never gave me problems. What can I do to fix the Flash Builder 4.7 so it does not work with AIR projects?

    Thank you

    L.

Was having the same problem and totally by chance (with a mix of frustration) I went to move the window and accidentally resized it... and low and behold the rest of the content window popped up as if she had a label 'hidden' on this subject... a collueges had the same problem on a windows and mac machine and it was resolved in the same way... I hope this helps someone...

  • Lack of option "Native Installer" Export Release Build for AIR application

I was wondering if anyone else has to face it. Regardless of the type of soft AIR that I work on all I get is the export to the file option. I'm updating with AIR 2.5 SDK Flex 4.1 SDK on a current install of Vista 64.

You need to update Flash Builder 4.0.1 for the native installer option in the export Release Build.

Your newspaper seems to indicate that you are on Flash Builder 4.0 (just using the SDK 4.1 won't, you must upgrade the builder himself for this).

  • Packaging failure via mometics export-> release build, due to the run_when_backgrounded permission.

    Hello

Whenever I try to package my request for signature and publication using momentics export-> Blackberry-> Release version, my packaging fails with the following error message: (bar file is created, but it cannot be installed on the device)

    Package failed: 2
    Info: Package created: /Users/deepak/bbcodebase/BB_App/arm/o.le-v7/myApp-1_0_0_1.bar
[ERROR] MANIFESTO. MF: Invalid value 'access_location_services, run_when_backgrounded, access_shared' for the attribute "Entry-Point-user-Actions".

Here is the excerpt of permissions that I use in my bar - descriptor.xml

    run_native

    run_when_backgrounded
    access_location_services
    access_shared

When I delete run_when_backgrounded permission to my bar - descriptor.xml, packaging works correctly and the binary signed, I can install and run on my device.

Without signing the application and using debugging tokens, I can install the debug version of my app (via momentics) and run it on the device with the permission of run_when_backgrounded without any problem.

I developed a native BB 10 application, using the following configuration:

    SDK version: 10.1

    Feature: Q10 with 10.2.0.424 software

Momentics® IDE for BlackBerry: Version: 2.0 Build id: v201310251603

    Development mode: on

I need the permission of run_when_backgrounded for my application as some of the functionality that depends on.

Request let me know what I'm missing here.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thank you sabdelsayed,

I have upgraded my toolchain to 10.2 SDK and not observe this behavior. I forgot to update the community, an apology for this.

    Thank you all for help.

  • Export Release Build: error 303 - defining the right path to the PNG file

    Hello.
I have a 32 x 32 pixels pixels and icon in the code XML Application descriptor file, I tried all possible ways for the icon.png and I get an error message 303. My application deploys fine if I leave aside the icon... just seems to be a path issue but can not understand why... I put the file in the libs folder and tried png just in the src folder, but no luck... I saw other posts talked about checking the 'no embedded files to output folder copy' and I have this checked... Thank you!

After trying for centuries created a flex project and copied all the code as a whole in the new project. But did not use the old app - xml file used for the new flex project and the icons have worked.

  • Save the file to the shared folder in Release Build works, but not in Export version

We are ready to present our application to App World. However, we noticied when testing the 'export release' that build our file saving function of does not work (the file is not be saved - but the folder we created). The file records fine when running in debug or release mode, but not to export the final file.

Is - this all simply because we are not supposed to try to run the bar directly exported version file and it should work once on App World? Has anyone experience this problem?

We are trying to back up the folder "shared/music/AppName" If that helps.

We have corrected it. We were writing somehow to the wrong address in the "shared". For some reason, it still worked when you use version debug/directly from the IDE, but does not when exported. That's all now works well.

  • Destroy... What would cause a Flash Builder crashing repeatedly on the same. MXML file?

    Hello

I'm building a pretty simple application and I changed something in a .mxml file pretty simple and all of a sudden whenever I open the file for editing, Flash Builder crashes and dies horribly.

If I have all the code in comment and reopen Flash Builder, I can open and edit the file correctly. I can even put all the original in the code and test the application successfully.

    But...

When I put all the code back in and then go back to edit the file, Flash Builder exterminates in a sort of permanent and irrevocable while I comment on all the code to make it work again...

I tried to export, delete, import to reset the project, but the problem is recurring.

    Then...

It is clear that I wrote something in my .mxml file that sends Flash Builder in an infinite loop of godawful or another dead end, but I'm at a loss to say what, as it is very MXML very base and direct without (far as I can tell) something unusual... and I've been professional programming with Flex for a number of years and built some _big_ Meanwhile applications...

If someone has experienced something similar? Any ideas what I could do?

    Thank you

    Found the little git.

Somehow, I had marked "Enable design mode" and the designer was attempting to make a wide range of custom controls that she had no idea what to do with.

I think, I _may_ have tried the design mode for about five minutes about five years ago and decided it wasn't for me... If so, this opinion still stands.

I have "Enable design mode" Unflagged and suddenly everything plays well again.

  • Export release with AIR 3.9 generation error

When I try to export a release build with captive runtime I got up this error. I'm not sure what is meant by "to ensure that the time on your computer is synchronized" and my certificate is valid.

  • Drag / move does not work in the export release version

I use the built in the DragManager class to manage a few drag and drop features in an application. When running in flex builder, it works exactly as expected, but when I export a release build project, dragging only works in the vertical direction. How is that possible? What could be the cause of this strange behavior.

    Any help would be appreciated.

So I thought about it, it turns out that it was a combination of two questions. First, the background color should be set in order to avoid that the events of gout are received correctly. Not sure why it worked but since flash builder!

Secondly it updated me that AIR drag Manager was not the mouseX property that we depend on to a logic of positioning, then had to update to store the required mouseX value.

  • How to include Php files in SrcView and Release Build

    Stupid question

For a long time I was manual copy of any changes to my php debugging files in the output folder manually. I know they can be linked so they make to compile (and hopefully also included in srcview) but never took the time to understand what the process is.

All the time, I guess that Suggestions?

What do I create a new folder in your src perhaps as 'scripts' or something. Then, you can create a file .php in there and when you double click on open it should open your .php default editor. Now when you do a release build, it will include the "scripts" folder in your bin to release.

    Then do something like

The only problem I encountered when testing on-site, you need to have a copy on a server, unless you have apache running locally.

    I hope this helps!

Page at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox/#telemetry says telemetry functionality should be disabled in release builds by default. I've just updated to 34.0.5 and it is activated. I know not if, in an earlier version is enabled and he kept the same State, but I never manually put it on.
