  Hello! I have a Windows 7 computer and the Zoo Tycoon 2 Zookeeper Collection and extinct animals. These are both installed and working properly on the computer, but when I tried to install the Marine Mania expansion pack, when he enters the installation wizard, he invites me to uninstall my game and delete all my files. • Zoo Tycoon 2 will not install with Windows 7 x 64

  Recently, I switched from XP to Windows 7 Ultimate x 64. When I went to reinstall Zoo Tycoon 2 and all the expansions and discovered that only the base game and endangered species will even install. Even the add-on downloadable Addax and the update does not work.

  I keep getting 'LOC_WRONGUSER' or 'LOC_ZT2NOTINSTALLED '.

  I am logged on as administrator (my account is also the only one on the pc). I have a solution sought for hours, but can't find fixes for the memory problem.   Bought ZT2 Zookeepers Collection earlier. I installed it is fine, with a couple of expansion packs. I uninstalled, then went to re - install. When I clicked on install and it behaves like his will install but said "games to uninstall all saved and elements?" that appears when uninstall you! So I check mark those. Tried to install it again, but guard telling me that it is not uninstalled. Tried many things to make it work, but it won't. A I more resemble something?   I was able to overcome this problem by following these steps for Windows 7. First, go to the control panel and uninstall all programs associated with Zoo Tycoon 2. Then, type "regedit" in the search box after clicking on the button 'start '. You can search "zoo" and delete the entries that correspond to the "CLEAR" Zoo Tycoon 2, nothing else. Then go to the computer, then the drive Local (c), then Program Files (x 86), then the information of InstallShield. A list of folders will fill. Look at the dates and try to determine where you originally installed Zoo Tycoon 2 and delete these folders. So try and re - install Zoo Tycoon 2 and it should install correctly. Apparently, the developer, Blue Fang Games, neglected aspects of the use of InstallShield and program still considers that it is installed by looking at the InstallShield folder that was created when you initially installed the game! By deleting this file, it will install then.

• I have a new idea of Zoo Tycoon game! (Microsoft Game Studios)

  I was playing Zoo Tycoon today and I thought of an idea to bring the Zoo Tycoon but better! I tried to go to zootycoon.com and bluefang.com, but they both stopped, I guess because they closed.

  In any case, my idea is to bring the Zoo Tycoon. Here is a list of what I thought:
  1 includes everything in Zoo Tycoon 1 and 2, including all the expansion packs.
  2 mode Guest, where you can walk around as a guest to interact with objects and animals should be included, but you should be able to interact with customers, too. For example, you could go up to a guest, press the SPACEBAR, and have a little chat with them, as to seek their advice on the zoo, their favorite animal, things like that.
  3 Add more animal-like extinct animals, animals (unicorns) Make-Believe, tons of animals!
  4. When you are playing in free play, you should have unlimited money as you do in Zoo Tycoon 2 and have everything unlocked for you, even things that need a cheat code.
  5. There should be a lot more like roller coasters, ferris wheels and rides.
  6. in guest mode, you should be able to interact with objects, as in the slide, you should be able to press the space bar and down actually it.
  7. you should be able to turn into an animal. I know it's a little out there, but think about it! It would add humor to the game! You could run as a lion invited scaring, but even not make them hurt!
  I have many more ideas, but it would take forever to write them all! Comment what you think of this idea to get Blue Fang Games (TM), Microsoft TM and Tycoon (TM) Zoo, game all together again! It's like when I was a little girl and I want to play Zoo Tycoon all the time! It would really bring back memories for many people!   I know now I can play my game because I bought a new computer, I did think something good but I do not have, there 64 bit and games Zoo requirement is 32-bit, so it won't work, I have a drawer full of PC games with 32-bit xp. now what I'll do.   There are many versions of zoo tycoon, which are compatible with vista 64-bit. See the link below. But if the requirement of the game is only 32 bits, then you will not be able to play these games on 64-bit.

• Unable to play Zoo Tycoon 2: "the color scheme for has been changed to basic windows.

  I know that this has been answered before, but the answers were not useful or difficult to follow. I have Windows 7 and that's all I know not on my laptop. I am the admin of it so I have access to administration options if I have to.

  OK, so this is the usual scenario you install - very well no problem - you click play and it comes up with this, black to hot flashes and then it does not load the game.

  You don't download a Compatibility Mode...

  Uninstall Zoo Tycoon 2...

  Then place the Zoo Tycoon DVD in the drive and if she tries to autorun, cancel it.

  Go to the icon of the DVD drive in 'Computer', do a right click and open/explore the DVD.

  Find the configuration file, right click and select Properties.

  Check the box "Run as Administrator" and then close the Properties window.

  1) press start and search for msconfig
  (2) select boot
  (3) advanced options...
  (4) maximum memory change check 4927 (something like that) eventually, it may be different for each computer
  5) click ok and apply and ok again... He will be asked to restart and the game works as it involves
