The dialog box display settings are two buttons: default for display and chipped. Select chipped in the external screen dialog box. This should give you the different options that are available. You can also hold down the option key while clicking on the button of the chipped to see all options, not just the most expensive.

  • Problems with my slower... graphic AGA and external monitor does not display

First of all, let me say that I am not computer savy.  I just bought an Alienware 17 June 1.  Got my AGA and installed a Geoforce GTX 980 inside graphics card.  First I tried as far as I know (which is not yet much about computers) to connect an external monitor to the AGM.  For some reason that the monitor does not display anything and my laptop States there is not all the other monitors it can detect.  Now, the other problem I have is that I run games using my AGA and when its connected I can really see my games download restless and slower.  I thought that the whole purpose of the AGM was pushed my graphics and do amazing things... not very frustrating.  Any suggestions on what I might hurt?

    Try the following:

    Disconnect the graph.

    Uninstall the video card drivers.

Install the following driver (this version is not in the official Dell support website again, however, it has been tested by our engineers)

Restart the system and connect the graphic amplifier and test it.

Please let me know if this helps you solve the problem.

  • No luck with CRT/LCD button - external monitor does not display

    Hello

I have a Dell Inspiron 700 m laptop.  When I connect to the computer to my TV (a/k/a an external monitor), hold down the "Fn" key and press F8 (the "CRT/LCD" button), my laptop screen blinks and no picture on the external monitor.  One of my friends has a Dell XPS M1210 and - through the same steps - we were able to get the same establishment to work.  Maybe someone has any suggestions for what is the problem?  Would be - it simply a matter of obsolete or incorrect drivers?  Thanks in advance for the help and suggestions.

    Kind regards

    Aranas

P.S. to the difference of the XPS M1210, my Inspiron 700 m does not display again - when I press the key "CRT/LCD" - the box with three display options: integrated screen external monitor and both screens at the same time.  The screen just flashes to black.

  • HP monitor does not display "DVi signal.

My HP LP2275w monitor does not display "DVI signal" when connected with a DVI cable (supplied), but when it is connected via a VGA cable and adapter DVI/VGA (both supplied) it works but no BIOS screen. It begins immediately with the logo of the VICTORY.

I just bought new HP Pavilion 500-158eg, Intel Core i5-4440, with AMD Radeon HD8570, 2GB processor, running on WIN7 Pro 64 b. VGA and another port of the motherboard are initially blocked so I can connect the monitor only via the output HDMI or DVI on the graphics card.

I should note that on my old machine without a name with the graphic upgrade ATI Radeon, there is no problem and I used the same cable. There was an electric shock that causes the collapse of the motherboard so I can't even re - check on the old machine. I can't verify if there is a problem with the DVI cable because all laptops in our housing have only the VGA output...

    All solutions?

  • External monitor does not work on Vista of Tecra M7

My external LCD monitor connected with analog cable doesn't work on my Tecra M7 with Win Vista and latest driver downloaded today on this site to display. Display of Windows Mobility center see the trendy, office is extended to the second screen and Windows display settings dialog box shows the correct resolution of the external LCD. But there is no image on an external monitor (with the 'no signal' message just after turn on the monitor).

Any changes to the display (resolution, type of display (mirror, second screen, primary/secondary)) the settings do not work.
Monitor works fine with my old laptop and Windows XP.
If I restart my computer M7 laptop with connected external display I see loading messages and windows on external monitor logo and after that I see only painted while internal lcd to my laptop is black and I can't move at all internal lcd in this case (only restarting with external display disconnected works in this case).

    Hello

Did assign the external monitor as the main screen in the graphics properties?
I think you did this due to the fact that the Toshiba splash screen appears on the external monitor.

But just moment please. The Tecra M7 was delivered with Win XP Pro tablet edition and not Vista.
Have you installed it you own hand?

I guess that everything worked running Win XP
Maybe you should try to remove the graphics driver Vista system and use one from the 3rd site like www.laptopvideo2go.com

  • External monitor does not work with Tecra M Series

    Hello

I'm trying to connect to an external monitor, however it is not working properly. The monitor works fine with another laptop so I know that the monitor is ok.

When I first start the lptop I get the screen then I XP Flash on the external monitor perfectly clearly, however when it will boot Windows XP the external monitor goes haywire.

    Advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

Either way, I just updgraded all display drivers and BIOS but with no solution to the problem.

Thank you very much in advance for all help/tips.

    Hi mate,

my suggestion is to reduce the resolution for the external montor. Maybe you have the problem that the resolution and frequency h/v is not defined as it should be.

When starting your laptop, then let the disconnected monitor. When the machine is running, then connect the monitor to the machine (it s OK, it s not dangerous or something) and then go into the control panel for the graphics card. There you can set the options for internal and external monitor.

Set the minimum resolution for the outside and try to activate him. It should work normally...

Please tell me, what kind of machine do you have? You need to give more information, so maybe other people with the same machine can help you.

    Welcome them

  • Monitor does not display

I accidentally set the moitor display at 75 Mhz on my Dell PC and all of my monitors don't work at 60 Mhz, I tried to reset the default values at startup of without success. Any ideas please?

I accidentally set the moitor display at 75 Mhz on my Dell PC and all of my monitors don't work at 60 Mhz, I tried to reset the default values at startup of without success. Any ideas please?

I don't know if you can reset these settings in safe mode or not. I know that safe mode does not work under these parameters but, you may be able to save the settings for a normal boot. The article on the link below, there is a way to do safe mode.

How to start in safe mode

  • Portege R500: external monitor does not work with the Port Replicator Port 2 and DVI

I have a Portege R500 running Vista with a slim Port Replicator II and digital monitor Viewsonic.
I connected the monitor to the DVI port on the port replicator and got it to work OK.
Press fn + F5 would switch between the computer screen and the external monitor.

Then it stopped working, and I can't make it work at all. F5 recognizes just the laptop screen.

If I connect an analog display, it is fine, and I can pass between the two screens without difficulty.

The strangest thing is that, if I reboot when the Portege R500 is docked, the digital monitor begins by displaying the boot sequence, but then the signal is lost as soon as the screen stops the display of the progress (in low resolution) bar.

I spent an hour on the phone to support Friday, and he made me nowhere.
They finished by saying that he should never have worked! So what is the DVI port because then?

    Any ideas?

    David

Connect your monitor directly to your laptop and see if it is recognized and you can go through FN + F5 between the two views.
If it works, then connect with port replicator, and then try again.

It's probably best if you reinstall display drivers. Maybe there are new too on the download page.

  • my screen is black at the start. not bios. No beeps. external monitor does not work either.

I have a G62-343NR which suddenly stopped working after I tried to do a Windows Update.  At the present time, when I try to turn it on, I hear the fans whirring and the HD, kicking, but there is no beeps & my screen remains black.  The wifi stays on, but my caps lock button will Flash.  I thought that the screen has gone bad, but when I plug my external monitor, it does not show something or the other.  I tried to insert a Windows 7 installation disc, but nothing appears on the screen, and no beeps are heard.  The fan is turned on.

    Any ideas or solutions?

    It was running Windows 7.

    Hello

It looks like not a component on the motherboard does not, but it is worth trying the following.

In regards to the link below, delete one of your modules of memory and then see if the laptop will start.  If it doesn't, try the same module, but in another location.  If it is still won't start, try just the other memory module in both slots, to see if any combination will allow the laptop to start.

The procedure for withdrawal of these modules is detailed from Page 55 of your & Maintenance Guide.

    Kind regards

  • Windows 7 does not display a resolution 1920 x 1080 on my 1080 p LCD TV

I recently tried to upgrade my PC Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 (32-bit), and installing a discovers that Windows 7 has problems with displaying the resolution on LCD TV I use for my screen.  In the middle of the installation, my TV displays "Mode not supported" on display and remained that way.

I knew that Windows 7 has attempted to display a resolution which could not handle my TV, so to solve this, I turned off the PC temporarily plugged into a 2nd LCD monitor via DVI (bi-ecrans configuration) and turned on the rear PC, which allowed me to complete the installation of the upgrade to Windows 7.  It also let me see that my Samsung TV has been detected as one of the screens, and the 'recommended' for this TV resolution was detected as 1920 x 1080, which is the resolution that I used initially very well under Windows Vista.  Now, with Windows 7, the highest resolution I can display on my Samsung TV is 1360 x 768... None of the resolutions higher cause "Mode not supported" on a black screen.

To complicate issues further, whenever I unplug the 2nd LCD monitor I have temporary installation as a double screen, it seems that the display settings for the Samsung TV back to resolution of 1920 x 1080 now not taken in charge, because the TV shows "not supported Mode"... Thus, it seems that even if I wanted to settle for the lowest resolution 1360 x 768, I can't even use the LCD TV as a stand-alone display because it won't save this setting with only a single screen (LCD TV) connected to the display.

My graphics card is an ATI Radeon 9600, and my screen is a Samsung LN52A650 LCD TV.  I connect to the TV using a VGA cable.  I also tried to use a converter DVI / VGA and had the same exact results.  This same exact configuration was capable of displaying 1920 x 1080 resolution of screen very well with Windows Vista Home Premium before.  Can I do to return to the display 1920 x 1080 on my setup with Windows 7, or I have to downgrade to Windows Vista?

    Leo,

I had the same problem as you. 1920 x 1080 worked well on my XP computer via the VGA cable to a 52 inch Samsung LCD TV. I've upgraded to Windows 7 and it wouldn't work. The problem is not Windows 7, but the latest ATI Catalyst drivers do not support 1920 x 1080 on Windows 7 via the VGA cable. If you are using ATI Catalyst 8.9 version (downloadable from the page Support ATI) everything will work fine on Windows 7.

  • First pro. external monitor does not show the images.

    First question double pro monitor.

My film shows sporadically on the monitor.

I'm running to update Premiere pro cc with Yosemite

on the more powerful 15 "macbook pro 2015 with a nec pa272w monitor.

Installation works perfectly with Lightroom and Photoshop.

First, I have the screen selected in the preferences/reading and ok' ed.

Transmission is checked in the program monitor menu.

The monitor shows my first pro content, it is sometimes erratic. Usually after opening the program my images does not appear on the monitor. Then I go into preferences/reading and click the ok button and the area. Then I go back to my sequence and often after a pause of two seconds my work often shows on the monitor yet... sometimes, but not at the moment.

In the preferences of my laptop, I have my monitors side by side with the menu bar on the screen of the laptop. I also tried to drag the open program of my laptop screen in the monitor and sometimes then the laptop screen will function as the external monitor and show my pictures. Then if I drag to the screen of my laptop I get the external monitor to show my project. However, this made the first collision. I also made sure that nothing on my laptop screen encroaches on the external monitor.

Please help me solve this problem.

    Hello

    Try this:

Go to file > project settings > General and change the "Video Renderer" to "only Mercury playback engine software. Click 'OK' and select "Remove the Previews". Then check if you still have the same problem.
