  Hi all. I have a new Sansa Clip + 8 GB (firmware: V201.01.05F). I intend to improve it with a 32 GB microSDHC card. For now I have filled the internal memory with MP3 files. USB is set to MSC mode.   I was considering a formatting of the Clip + (via its menu), but it doesn't look too promising now. I was able to delete the folder music, probably a reload following music files would be recognized by Windows can. But I don't think that the present state is normal anyway: according to the QuickStart Guide there must be a disc with (for now) a folder it contains, as described above. I must also stress that the player doesn't have to behave normal after the question: it started with setting menu several times instead of the last title of the music. At least it seems fixed now.

  I messed up my Pavilion 9700 with somehow Windows 7 on both drives, and then I couldn't do anything.  I took out the two discs, purchased another, installed as primary, installed Windows 7 and it is fine now.  However, I would like to be in a position to one of the players as the secondary, but I'm afraid to put it in.  How to wipe it or reformat so I can use it?  Thanks for any help.

• How to merge two discs into one?

  I recently updated my OS to Windows XP Edition Home Premium to Windows XP Pro. One way or another I have now two drives (Local 'C' and 'E' Local drive).  When I start the computer it opens to E drive and I continually have a message that I don't have enough disk space on drive E.  How can I megre present two discs into one?  I tried to copy the contents of the C drive in drive E, but I get the message that I don't have enough space on this drive.

  I suggest you to follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

  a. go to the start menu and open 'control panel '.
  b. Select the option "System and Maintenance" If you use the Control Panel view home and 'Administrative tools' If you use the "classic" view
  d. in the "Administrative Tools" section, select "format and create partitions on the disk.
  e. for users "Classic view", select "Computer management" and select "Storage". Once finished, click on "disk management".
  f. when the list of your reader, choose the one with which you want to merge your disk partitioned with (for example drive E :) and select 'Delete Volume'.)
  g. therefore, select your C: drive and the option "Extend Volume". Your computer will automatically select the empty spaces available on your hard drive and you can change them if you want to do.

  Note: Make sure that you back up the data and then remove drive E.

  I am writing on behalf of my sister.  Here is his story:

  Screen of her laptop TouchSmart tx2-1370us broke earlier.  It's under warranty where she bought in so he was expelled to be repaired.  When he returned, the screen has been set, but there was a note indicating that they had lost its Windows 7.  The computer loaded and executed perfectly, but it was the pop-up "is not a genuine copy of windows.  She claims that she was unable to read the sticker product key the computer good enough to get it to accept anything, she entered.  When she called the store, they said that HP would be able to help get it back.  HP sold its recovery disks which were to restore the computer.  It is a 3 disc set, marked 2 System Recovery DVD Windows 7 Home Premium and 1 additional CD labeled Application & Driver recovery CD.  CDs ran several times still to come as fruitless after the first 2 CDs.  I won't get in his experience of the customer support, but she claims that she spoke on the phone with HP 6 times in the course of a week and nothing they had to say or to offer.  Always unsuccessful recovery message.  She abandoned, almost crying at this time, and I said I'll try.

  After a bit of searching I found a patch on the HP website that would supposedly solve the problem of recovery disks.  The patch was properly installed, green checkmark and all, and all 3 CDs was successfully.  The computer restarts, the screen of the Installation of the HP software ran for a while before another restart then the usual recovery failure message.  I tried many times with the same result every time.  I saved the newspaper from the last go to it and post it below.  It seems the States BIOS Vista as OS, but she bought the computer pre-loaded with Windows 7.  Could there be something in that fact cause a problem?

  Someone suggested to reset the BIOS to factory default, but that didn't work either.

  When you save the log to USB, I could see all of the files, there are 3 readers listed SDV (C Local disk (D & BOOT (X))

  For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

  Lets take a chance it's for W7

  Go here and download the correct version of W7 (home or pro, they have not a starter edition), version 32 or 64 bit and the language, it's going to be a file iso very large, once downloaded, burn it to a blank disc DVD + R as an Image, this can be done on a Windows 7 PC, right-click on the iso file and select 'Open with' > 'windows disc image burner.

  This will make a regular windows 7 installation disc allows you to get Windows installed, use the key to see if it will be ignited.

  Recovery files are normally hidden in the Windows Explorer, so it wouldn't be a problem - the only way you can be sure that it works or not is to try it.

• a separate album multi disc set

  I can't for the life of me, see why a created disc multi disc shows separately for the album.

  This is the Portrait of Dan Fogelberg, 4 CD set. I did read the information and changed the orinal separated from 4 albums at all with the same name.

  Deleted "Disc X" in the title of the album. So disks 1,3,4 now appear under an album for the album, but disk 2 shows upward in a separate album.

  What's funny, is that if I go to the windows folder, the MP3 from all 4 disks are in the same folder. Watched a lot of attributes through windows Explorer

  and they all seem compatible. I also did the same Album artist for all. Any other ideas? I even deleted and ripped out again to see if that would clean things up.

  I had a similar problem recently... try to remove the title of the album of all disks, so you get the artist with the unknown album, then readd the title of the album.  Worked for me

• Re-create disc set of system recovery after OS upgrade from Vista to Win7

  Hello, my HARD drive crashed, and as part of the replacement procedure, I also bought an upgrade of the OS Win7. I used my original restore disks game for the PC to Windows Vista and then upgraded to upgrade to Win7. I want to re - create the defined under Win7 recovery disc, in the case where I never restore the OS again, to avoid restoring Vista and upgrade to Win7 process. Unfortunately, Recovery Manager reports that a recovery set have been achieved and can be done again.

  Is it possible to redo the restore with the new OS Win7 disc?

• Using geocoded in a map based on a vision where two data sets are joined

  I would like to create a map based on a view in which two sets of data are joined, where one of the data sets has a column of geocoding.

  Unfortunately this does not work... It seems that a custom view where two sets of data are gathered together where one of them has a geocode column makes the invisible geocode column for the component of the map.

  The following cases work, but we like to combine so that we can combine the different sets of data in the Studio without using the Integrator:

  
  

  -I can create a custom view in which we join two sets of data > the view can be used as a source for component but not the component card (it seems that the geocode column is not found)

  -I can create a custom with a geocode inside column view and that can serve as the source for a map

  What I would like to show, it is that it is possbile to have a data sets from a source system and it's easy to combine an another excel sheet with geo-information and maybe another sheet with different measures of excel. This should be possible since you can collect different sets of data in a custom view.

  In regards to my reading of your EQL, I think you can try to rename the "Particulars" to "Endeca_Klanten.Coordinaten" column in the select clause of Omzet_Geo.

  Although not quite elegant, map requires the geo attribute to have the same name (key attribute, no nickname) as the base view, at least that the custom view will not be picked up by card.

  Yes, you just set up two separate database connections in the connection manager and navigate to the database relevant essbase. You then simply refers to the database for each grid connection when you transfer the grid in the report in FR.

• In FireFox 13.0.1 I can't open view in Google Maps. I get a blank page. I have two users set up on the computer, (WIn 7) and the second works OK

  Some other videos also will not work. I tried to run in safe mode, but that did not help. I had to use google chrome to see images.

  It started when my wife logged and a message "the user profile service has no logon. Unable to load the user profile.
  When I went in Firefox did not display most of the images such as YouTube. I failed in trying to set up a new user for my wife I did a system restore to several days earlier. It seemed to work, and in fact, Firefox seems to be OK. Then I updated plugins and when I returned to Firefox I can play Youtube videos but not others such as the Google Street View.

  Thanks for the help. I uninstalled Flash 11.3 and installed Flash 10.3. Everything works fine now.
