Extraction of Cycle Count of the system report

I have an action automator, put in place to generate a report of power system and create a file of text based on it. Is there a way I can extract the Cycle of this number?

From the Terminal:

$ system_profiler SPPowerDataType | AWK ' / Cycle Count / {print $3}'

Back: 96 (on my MacBook Air of 2014)

  • Applications removed always on display in the system report

There are a few applications that I installed, used for some time and then them, deleted using all the methods that I could find.  There is no trace of the any of these applications with the exception of entries about this Mac > report system > software > facilities.

I'm on El Capitan 10.11.4, using a MacBook Pro.  It works perfectly, but the perfectionist in me just don't like these entries.  How can I remove them?

If they do not show in the Applications, all is well. Facilities is a story of, well, facilities. If you have installed an application several times, or updated, it will also show several times. It is by design.

  • The battery: Cycle Count

I recently bought a new macbook pro 13 inch (my first macbook never) and decided to read a little about the life of the battery.

To my surprise, I realize that my cycle was 7!

(Note: I only bought the macbook for about 4 days and charged for 3 - 4 times)

And according to the sites, cycle counts only account all costs 100% (fresh short accumulation).

In addition, my battery life estimated at 05:10 hours at 92%, but jumped to 08:40 hours to 84%.

    Should I be worried?

I read that you can actually leave your macbook to charge overnight, but do you do with the power supply on or off?

What is the best way to charge your macbook?

If you are not satisfied with this experience, please return it and get another.

You can return a Mac within 14 days of the purchase.

  • Can I remove the diagnostic system reports?

    As above.

Can I remove Diagnostic system reports that sit in the Console?

Actually, can I delete everything in the Console?

    Thank you.

You can remove these log files if you want, but they are generated automatically so that they will come back.  And there is already a purge calendar built into OS X to limit the size of the console of newspapers.  Unless you are desperately short of disk space, there is no advantage to clear the logs from the console manually - let the regular daily/weekly/monthly maintenance scripts to take care of purge of old files.

  • Qosmio X 770 - system + all the apps report controller active Intel, not GTX560M

    Hello world

    According to the thread topic:
All of the apps report active control Intel, not GTX560 M + X 770-system?

I just bought my family a Qosmio X 770 and window system report more games like Diablo III report that the Intel HD family control is the active video card and not the GTX560M?

How can it be? The computer is directly from the factory. Both are active, do I have to manually disable the Intel controller in the system Panel?

It looks super weird for me that such a thing exists.

Please advise, that would be much appreciated!
    TIA.
    Lorelei & family.

    Hello

You can't disable the internal Intel graphics.
The point is that it is controlled automatically if the graphics card supports nVidia Optimus technology.

If the application needs complete graphic performance, the external nVidia chip will be used.
If the application does not have good graphic performance, the internal GPU Intel would be used to save energy.

But of course, you can assign the GPU in a single application.

"The device reported unexpected or invalid data for a command.  (oxC0AA02FF)

    Hello

What method did you follow to create the system repair disc?

I suggest you to create the system with different USB repair disc and check if it helps.

Means all try the methods and check them off below if it helps.

    Method 1:

Try to put the computer in a clean boot state, and then check if it helps.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

    Method 2:

I also suggest you to perform check disk (chkdsk) on the computer and see if it helps.

  • Download the 3rd party system reports

Hello! I work for a community theatre, all volunteer, like box office support person.

I just bought a new computer with Windows 7.1 a couple of weeks (update of XP).

Now, when I try to download a report on the system if CSV or another type (internet is the basis, not a purchased software system), I get the following error:

"Your current settings do not download this file."

Trying to find WHERE to change my settings for this... Especially since the layout on 7 is a bit different than XP.

Maybe it's your software antivirus or antimalware software or you can you set your Internet Explorer security too high.

What is the name and version of your anti-virus program?

What other security software is installed?

What browser do you use when you try to download?

Assuming you are using Internet Explorer,

In IE, tools > Internet Options (Alternatively, control panel > network and Internet > Internet Options)

    Security tab

Select 'Internet Zone' (normal is "Medium-high")

    Click 'custom level '.

Scroll to the "Downloads - Downloads" and make sure "Enable" is selected.

OK your way out if you made a change.

  • the system diagnostics report

    Hello

I need help with the reporting system on my pc, I already looked at help section to try to understand that I had missed to correct the report.  I ran a report of diagnoses of the system 2 times and each time I do, I get the same report indicates that the Security Center has not registered an anti virus product and the need to check an anti virus product is installed and functional. I have entered the system on my pc and etc and having other things on mine, but the report is still saying there is no anti virus detected security.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hello

I suggest that you want to run a full virus scan using Windows Defender in offline mode, because it can help to remove hard to find malicious and potentially unwanted programs using definitions that recognize the threats.

Definitions are files that provide an encyclopedia of potential software threats. Armed with definition files, Windows Defender in offline mode can detect malicious and potentially unwanted software and then inform you of the risks.

  • How/where are the financial reports stored on the file system of the server?

We recently lost a large part of our reports on our server. We cannot understand what the restore directory location in order to get these reports back. Where is the default directory for 11.1.2.2 financial reports? And in what format the reports are being saved?

EN reports can be found in the file system of the operating system (o/s), but the EMP workspace hierarchy (folders, tree, etc.) are stored in the database of repository Hyperion bi +.

On the system of operating system files, the reports are stored in RM1 folder under folder "C:\oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\ReportingAnalysis\data\RM1\root".

The names of the reports placed here are UUID (identifiers of long - not the actual names).

    For example:

When a report is created with the name 'My report' in Studio Financial Reporting, by connecting to the EMP workspace will be available in the name of financial reports/folder where it was saved.

the actual report will be stored in a subfolder of the RM1\root folder on the file system.

The file name will be a unique identifier (not the real name of the report is 'my report')

It will be generated 'on the fly' based on various things such as the date and time on the server (i.e. 0000012f5af72b1a-0000-ec71-c0a8006c.00000130510b77bb-0000-5133-c0a8006c.1)

The meta-data for this report ('My report', that is in the folder in the workspace, the date of the change of the report, permissions on this report, etc) will be stored in the Hyperion bi + DB as an object in an encrypted table. Financial reporting knows what metadata in the Hyperion bi + DB which corresponds to the report, in the file 'RM1\root' because all rows in the table for that object in the Hyperion bi + PB related to 'My report' will be referenced using the UUID of the file (for example 0000012f5af72b1a-0000-ec71-c0a8006c.00000130510b77bb-0000-5133-c0a8006c.1)

Note: The location of the folder of RM1 differs with each facility's operating system.

  • After the crash of the system, Workstation 10 reports "not enough physical memory is available" - how to fix?

On a Windows Pro 8.1 with 32 GB memory main system, I was running three virtual machines on 10 workstation.  Then we had a power failure and the system crashed.  Once the power was back and I restarted, any attempt to run a virtual machine failed with the following (change numbers) message:

Not enough physical memory is available to power on this virtual machine with its configured settings.

To solve this problem, decrease the size of this virtual machine to 988 MB memory, increase the amount of physical memory for all the virtual machines to 1219 MB or adjust the parameters of extra memory to enable more virtual memory machine to swap.

This occurs if the virtual computer, I try to start is one of those that was going or who was not working at the time of the accident.  In this case if I am as an administrator or not.

I checked Edit/Preferences/memory, and reserved memory is set to 24480 MB - 24 GB.  Can I run a virtual machine if I set the memory size to below the value indicated in the message (in this case, 988 MB).  Of course, I don't want to run like that!

The Windows System Control Panel reports (almost) complete 32 GB system memory. Task Manager indicates that only 7% of close to 32 GB is in use.  "About VMware Workstation", reports 32640 MB.

How can I fix it?  I'm basically dead in the water.

    Bob

You may encounter the same problem that others have reported in this other thread: Windows 8.1 October rollup KB2995388 and problem with 10 Workstation

Try the workaround it and see if it helps.

  • General question: all the reports in the system property

We question if or not reporting collection system is the best way to work.

The way our system is built, it's that all discoverer reports are divided into groups of about 10. Then, each group is also the owner of these reports. If a group is the GL reports then the owner would be GL.

If I want to change the report then I enter as GL so the owner remains the same and there is no problem if I happen to not be here. In general, there is only one person who works with discoverer reports. However, if I want to know which updated the reports until I came, or if someone, for whatever reason and however unlikely, decided to enter as a GL and a declaration of change, we will never know because it is always listed as GL has finally touched the report.

How do others with their reports work? Suggestions as to how we can know who has actually updated the reports?

    Thank you.
    Leah

    Hi LEA
I just had a thought. If who's changed a report in the past ran the report too then, as long as you capture statistics and you have not served the table of statistics, there is a record of who was the owner at the time the report was run, and who ran.

The table is called EUl5_QPP_STATS. Take a peek inside. He can have anything you want.

    Best wishes

It is perhaps the most current driver and GoToMyPc is often a cause of BSOD.  Suggest you remove at least to test.
