EZ red disc

Hi, I'm new here, my name is Christian, I am of the Argentina. I have a Lenovo EZ DISK 2 to that suddenly stopped working and turned his white led in red.

Don't know which is the problem, but after reading a lot of different topics on the internet, I ended up thinking that a failure is the disc. My question is that if it is possible to replace the disc with one another or by opening the case I would not find a standard drive to replace.

Thank you

Christian

Hello chr1st1an,

For the EZ firmware resides entirely on the disk, so it can not be replaced and will continue to work.

  • I would like to change when a player is red because when it is close to being complete.

I have a 2 TB drive that displays red whith 120 GB free.  I would change the trigger point to turn the Red disc.

Thank you!  Both drives are given only (Y: X :).  Is it possible to change the alert?

    Not really--or safe.
The alert works in point 15% because in this region, Defrag becomes unreliable and is therefore disabled. If you activate the alarm turned off, then defrag may also be allowed to continue to run in the background, and it can damage files.

  • ATI error and no windows - Satellite Pro A60

    Hello

When I start my computer, I get a blue error screen c0000415
A quick google reveals that this is one of these: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832324

"So what are you bothering? I hear you cry - the problem I have is, in getting this error of the other (also the ATI card based) I stuck my red disc in and erased everything - including the windows... and CFLA error occurs before windows installs and SafeMode (-that worked perfectly before) does not work because windows is not installed!

    Oh the fun.

"I think it's a hardware error" - Yes so don't I... However, before the reinstall and get it back, I could work to the computer in safe mode and videos played very well with the resolution and full color. Am I missing the point if I think a video work is an indicator of a working video card?

I admit that I'm perplexed indeed. I'll try to dig up an old Windows 98 drive, but I don't know how much this will help, because the only copy of XP I have is on the recovery disk... [Return to step 1]

Any suggestions much appreciated - thanks in advance...

    [it's a satellite pro A60 w / 256 +?] RAM, processor celeron 2.8 Ghz, ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 etc...]

    Hello

As suggested in document of Microsoft this problem can occur if an ATI Radeon 7200 graphics card has been installed on your computer and the driver that is supplied with this adapter may not work correctly with Windows XP.
The installation of SP2 should help.

This statement of Ms. says it all! It of not a hardware problem but it is a compatibility issue with Windows XP (without SP2) and the driver radeon ATI 7200.

You should try to get an original CD of Windows XP with or without SP2.
The software callednLiteallows you to create a Windows clean boot CD and add the patches MS and service packs for this CD.

Then, you can try to boot this CD and after installing the OS, you need to update or change the graphics driver!

Hard drive failed once again (short hard drive DST failure).  Cost is too high for me someone pay so I try to replace the hard disk drive me.  What should I replace it with the correct drive that has failed?  I don't know what to buy.  Machine is used by a woman of 87 years who use it for e-mail and facebook only.  The hard drive is an ATA WDC WD5000AAKX-60U6AA0 (LBA48 supported, with chip, sector type 512, capacity 500 GB).  I had downloaded Windows 10 3 months ago.  Thank you in advance.

    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

I read your message on the replacement of the drive and wanted to help.

See you have a Western Digital 500GB disk 3.5 "'blue' SATA.

Any disk 500 GB SATA 3.5 "can be used to replace, it must not be a WD.

I prefer WDC 'Red' discs because they have a life span is longer useful and warranty - but they are more expensive.

I got excellent results with Seagate and Fujitsu drives.

    Good luck

I'm a volunteer and I do not work for, or represent, HP.

  • Pavilion Elite 300Z: identification of card mother sata socket

My card mother Aloe-GL8E has 6 sockets SATA of different colors - black, white, blue, yellow, red. What the colors mean on this forum, as I think they are all 3 GB/s? I want to add a second HDD - does matter which plug it goes in?

The plugs are numbered from 1 to 6.  The boot order will follow in succession.

I found a reference.  Can you check the color and number?

  • 400 pro G1 MT: pinout header MS-7860 map mother PB/LED (P5)

Anyone know where I can get the pinout for the 10 pins header called "PB/del" labeled P5 (connector) on the MS-7860 Ver 1.2. (400 pro G1 MT)? I saw manuals which avoid the connector. Note that the PIN "missing or key" is exactly in the middle (PIN #6).

I've seen many diagrams with the key or missing pins at one end. This isn't my Board of Directors. This is where the cable with the power switch (not to be confused with power) meets the motherboard.

I replace a failed motherboard (three months out of warranty new with no physical signs of damage) with an ASRock H97M Pro4. I have had each other perfectly cable connector. The only one I'll have to "convert" is P5 (on the very outside edge of the angle of the SATA port). Thank you for your help.

Just pinned it out (the hard way). For anyone else who might have this motherboard. Here are the correct pinout:

    (1) HDD LED + (3) HDD-LED (5) PWR switch (7) PWR switch (9) n/c

    (2) power LED + (4) Power LED - (6) vacuum (8) jump (10) jump

    \________/

n/c    (has a hole with No wire)

vacuum  (a coveredhole)  The key, so you can't plug it wrongly.

Caveat!  Pins 8 and 10 are a rider or 'short death' (perhaps a 'case' of bypassed self-protection?)

I recommend that cut you the rider that it will not likely be necessary on your generic replacement motherboard!

    Colors (may vary)

Drive HARD + LED (1) is (Green) power LED + (2) = (Red) disc HARD - LED (3) is (white)

Power LED-(4) = switch (5,7) (Black) power = (the two white) jumper to cut (8,10) = (Black)

The two "Power LED" (white) are interchangeable but LED HDD - (white) is not so be careful here

and the jumper to cut (deleted) is Black and should not be confused with the Power LED-

I apologize if I gave too much info here, but it might be useful for a novice in computer wiring...

  • Why not actually crop harvest?

Let me explain. If I have an image with a certain number of objects, say a red disc and some rectangles. I want to integrate the Red disc in another new image. So I crop the image to reveal the drive and save the file as "Red Disk.psd". I open a new file, the blank page, the same resolution, perhaps we book (8.5 x 11, much bigger than the Red disc). If I switch back to red Disk.psd and use the move tool to drag a copy of the new file, I get the whole original image copied, drive & rectangles, even if they are not visible in red Disk.psd.

If I use the selection tool to select the whole image red Disk.psd (or use another selection tool) and use CTRL + J to copy the background layer in layer 1 and drag just layer 1 to the new file, I get just the Red disc.

So my question is if I've grown the original image and then saved the result as a new file, (in this case Disk.psd red), how this new file contains information of the original which exceeded the limits of culture? And how the red background in Disk.psd layer more include the information contained in the copy of layer 1?

    Thanks for the Enlightenment,

    David

    Hi David,

It's because Photoshop is trying to preserve the non-destructive workflow. If you need to crop and remove the cropped area, you should check this option. After the harvest just to save your new file and do not save the original if you keep the original file or simply go back into history.

I hope this can help. If this isn't the case, please let me know.

    Kind regards

  • 3847 Inspiron bought at Costco: the two Windows 7 and 8.1 out of the box?

    Howdy, y ' All,.

End of last year, has bought an Inspiron 3847 of Costco. We were told that Windows 7 Pro and Pro 8.1 would be available to the first power. Just unpacked and he started to Win 7. We prefer to use 8.1 but the only indication of 8.1 is a DVD titled «Media Windows 8.1 for Windows 8.1 recovery products 64 - bit» The DVD label also reads "Already installed on your computer." Diskmgmt.msc shows the disk of 1 TB with three partitions: a no, the second is 21,67 GB recovery and OS occupies the rest. No indication of another partition from the OS.

I tried to boot from the recovery DVD Win 8.1 and requires the removal of the partition of the OS which is now Win 7.

Where can I find Win 8.1? Also performed on system tools, but no sign of a partition Win 8.1.

    Thank you very much.

Upgrade LEVEL DBAR and save the plant in WIN7 together at a concert of 16 or LARGER USB Flash drive.  8.1 drive will have ALL the drivers you need.  A $10 usb wifi adapter addresses this by giving you access to download the drivers with an NIC that uses drivers 8.1 disk.

    http://www.Walmart.com/IP/TP-link-TL-WN725N-150Mbps-Wireless-N-Nano-USB-adapter/21553789

Your other option is to set aside the current drive and install 8.1 on a new hard drive empty. If you download and install 1.7 DBAR, you will be able to do a restore of windows 7 factory and a restoration of factoru 8. The backup of the plant on a flashdrive 16 gig will survive all of the dying hard drive.  But it will only install on a new drive, if you upgrade from 1.6 to 1.7

1.6 DBAR retrieves only the exact OEM drive.  The 1.7 will recover to ANY reader who is at least 80 GB.

Then, you can remove and install the Red disc WIN8.

Then reinstall DBAR 1.7 key USB and a usb wifi adapter so that you can download the drivers for windows 8 for the VIDEO and Audio from Realtek and NIC chipset etc.

Once everything is working you reinstall DBAR 1.7 and it will create a recovery of 8 factory windows that you can save a 16 gig or more large usb flash drive.

You will then have the option to install 7 or 8 at any time in the future.

I had the same exact system and it came with WIN7.   I don't have a disc of WIN8, but I downloaded a Microsoft.

I've never had a HP Recovery partition turns red, but which does not mean that it can't happen. In general, it is following a program to write data in the partition and it exceeds the windows 'threshold '. If you have not already created your HP recovery media, do so now.
