  • Full of blackBerry Smartphones key lock?

    Hello. Is enybody please knows how to make a lock key on the curve?

    I mean not a key lock, as if the locking of the upper keyboard button is pressed. This, after pressing a button is always displayed a message, that the keys are locked and must unlock them. This consumes a lot of battery through pressure on the keys at random if your handheld is in a Pocket, etc.. I want to make a such keyloch as if your handheld is in the original case. Hope so, it is possible without the case.

    Thanks for your advice!

    ... I discovered, its potential affecting only the pocket computer sleep mode. To do this, I have to press the right top key on the top, not the upper left button (it's only for the locking of the keyboard is not complete as I described).

    If the laptop is in sleep mode, it continues to receive everything (phone calls, emails, sms, etc.) but the buttons are locked except the gren and Red call and menu buttons, and back buttons. You wake up the Pocket since the previous day by press the button top right again (same way as you do this the simple keylocking).

    I hope this helps.

  • ENQ: TX - conflict in line for the foreign key lock

    Hi all

    My DB is 11.2 exadata machine.

    I've got to get a case and don't know how to explain it.

    session 1:

    create the parent table)
    ID number primary key);
    create the child table)
    parent references ID number,
    name varchar2 (20));
    insert into values parent (3);

    session 2:
    Insert children values (3, 'aa');

    Session 2 crashes.

    I'm curious to know how oracle knows that 3 in the parent table can be inserted? Otherwise, why not oracle comes throwing ORA - 02291:parent key is not immediately that I have ' insert into child values (3, 'aa');

    Best regards

    So I agree with the OP: the second operation should immediately receive the error 'parent does not exist', instead of block.
    >

    How about this scenario
    Session 1:

    1. insert into parent(id) values (3);
    2. commit;
    3. delete from parent where id = 3

    Session 2:

    1. insert into child values (3,'aa');

    What a result for the session 2 you expect in this case?

    Let me repeat a sentence of my previous post:
    Theoretically, the general rule is that account required to a SQL statement (whose key foreign is just one particular case) two different operations should only be serialized when both transactions run a kind of DML statement that could be contrary to the assertion.

    Now give me a scenario where two operations in effect running a kind of DML which could be contrary to the assertion of FK:
    -session 1 deletes a parent, which could be contrary to the assertion of FK because there may be child-lines 'under' parent.
    -session 2 inserts a child, which could be contrary to the assertion of FK because there could be a mother line for that child.

    ERGO: sessions 1 and 2 in your scenario above must be serialized.

    Still once, this was not the case in the scenario of the OP: FK assertiveness could never be breached by what session 1 (insert a new parent).

    >
    I don't see what that has to do with "modes of locking for insert, update, delete statements" (what do you mean by there btw?)
    >
    Thus,.
    Oracle of the second session always will go, lock in exclusive mode the entry created in the child table and then try to check for the presence of record in the parent table by reading it in shared mode (why reading is in shared mode must be clear from the scenario described above). Because the parent record is locked in exclusive mode, it cannot hold a shared lock, so he waits. So, if we need a different result if the first session of the insertions and deletions a record, Oracle, stumbled on the lock, you need to know what type of operation has led to the blocking.
    Something like that...

    The problem with the implementation of the Oracle of the assertion of FK is it locks data to serialize an assertion of the FK validation.
    Theoretically, this is the wrong approach. When dealing with simultaneous transactions and validation of constraints in several rows, it should return a predicate to first lock and then read the other rows (without lock somehow) to validate the assertion. Scientific research for this return began in the 1970s: http://dl.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=360369

  • MacBook Pro fn key locked somehow WE

    I managed to make my Macbook Pro 9.1 behave as if the fn button is LIT. I pressed the fn key to make the keyboard to behave normally, is not a viable solution. I tried different combinations of fn, control, option, and command keys (well, all, really), both hold and just typing, reset the SMC, reset the Pram, restored the defaults in system preferences - keyboard. I am at a loss.

    Various Google searches suggest that others have had this problem, but I have not found a solution online.

    The problem arose after that I have had left the MBP asleep for maybe a week and then could not exceed the stage of password to wake up. Forced feeding. Restarted, took forever to get my password to enter (I understand why, now that I realized the fn key problem) and now I'm looking for an answer.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Just an update...

    I plugged a USB keyboard borrowed a Mac Pro on my MBP and it works properly. Makes me think that there is a problem of real hardware with the MBP keyboard. BTW, the problem with the position of blocking ON fn key also affects the operation of this door on the operation of a USB mouse connected to the Mac Pro keyboard and the trackpad on the MBP.

    I just noticed that the Mac Pro keyboard does not have a fn key. Wonder if that could be relevant to the operation of the USB keyboard.

  • HP ENVY 2 X: key Fn editing operation. No BIOS option.

    OK, so I searched the forum and found many people ask how to change the operation of the Fn key while it is not necessary to press Fn to use the Fn keys.

    For example, I use software that I need to use several different of the Fn keys. Instead of simply by pressing SHIFT + F4 as I used to, I must now press SHIFT + Fn + F4. This severely hampers my ability to do my job with speed.

    The problem is that there is no option in BIOS to change this, as others have suggested. Someone please tell me there is a way to disable this incredibly stupid. I would be fine with having to press Fn to use the features of the shortcut key (research, volume, etc.) in order to exchange the functionality will be very well. Botton line, I want that my keyboard to refresh when I press F5 in itself, not cut my volume.

    Still, I can't change it in the BIOS. There must be another way.

    I understand the problem. No doubt it would work even for people who are currently underway in the BIOS to disable the action keys. This is not necessary and fortunately, this solution works for people who are unable to disable the action keys, for some stupid reason.

    The problem is a hardware problem, specifically a problem of keyboard to 100%.

    Many keyboards have two symbols on the Fkeys. You will see the F1 and some symbol is used to represent the action it will do. Most of the keyboards will do one action on the other, with the other action requiring the support of Fn. sometimes the fn key will be colored and the secondary action the ordered is similarly to be colored (the F or the symbol).

    If that's the thing. If you want to use the Fkeys regularly, choose a keyboard that has NO symbols of the action on them OR one that has coloured symbols of the action. If there is no staining, no matter what the symbol is the first is the main function. If the Fkey (F1... F12) is the first, it is the main function. If it is a symbol, first of all, it is the main function.

    So if people need to use the Fkeys, get a keyboard that has the first Fkeys or simply without the symbols of the action.

  • mouse/key locks board increase after computer idle for long periods of time. any Advisor

    I'm having a problem with windows lock-up during idle time.  If I leave the computer for a period extended by time, most often but not always my computer crashes. In other words when I get back, my mouse or my keyboard doesn't work at all. If I left open with unsaved information programs, I lose this info because as my only alternative to get operational again is to shut down the computer manually. Can anyone provide me a help or possible solutions in order to avoid gels of this nature?

    Thank you for your help.

    This is possibly due to a slow computer errors and registry. I recommend the following.
    CCleaner - will remove the unnecessary files that you don't want

    Step 1. Download Ccleaner from http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard
    Download it, run the file install Ccleaner, then open Ccleaner.

    Step 2. Click run cleaner once you have checked all you don't want on your computer. This will clean up unnecessary files, you don't want to. CCleaner also comes with a registry cleaner.

    Step 3. To run this registry click on the left side of the window, and then click scan for issues, difficulty of the selected questions, click on no to the box that opens, and then click fix all selected issues. This should clean all files that is no longer usable.

    Defragment your drive hard by: Windows Defragmenter to help. I use defraggler from the makers of Ccleaner because it defragments the individual files.

    If problems or questions please answer.
    Answer if you want to know how to install defraggler too!

    Probably not related to the info above, but it can't hurt someone help.

    TL; DR: My computer keeps thinking that the ctrl key is pressed when it is not. Is there a way to solve this problem permanently, or my keyboard is simply broken?

    FULL ARTICLE:

    Today, I turned on my computer and the start screen where it tells the brand of computer and all ordered options and avoidance for the analyses of the system has really had much time to disappear and load the OS screen. I been a little perplexed and worried about it, but it doesn't seem to be a problem.

    Just in case, I did a virus scan with my Avast! Free antivirus and it tells me there is no problem with my computer. My unstable feeling, put at ease, it seemed OK to me. I open windows live messenger and tried to start talking to my friend, but it wouldn't let me type. Switch to Firefox, because I tried to find a solution, I found that I couldn't type out there either because all these windows as save the page and find jump upward.

    I discovered by pulling my on screen keyboard that my ctrl key has been locked, even if I wasn't pressing it at all. I temporarily fixed several times by pressing the CTRL on the keyboard on the screen or by pressing the right CTRL key on the physical keyboard several times, but only one of the two could never work. I determined that it was left CTRL that was causing the problem.

    Now my left ctrl key has had a history of bad luck with me. First the PAC itself came out a year ago, and then the little spongy rubber under a thing done as well. But the button still works if I press on the space where the key used to be. I don't know if the missing key could be part of the problem, but I doubt it because it has never been a problem before.

    I checked my settings, and sticky keys is not the problem. I doubt the sticky keys would be able to assign the same computer outside the OS anyway. I can't find a button or setting change to get this to stop, and the CTRL just randomly sticks again on the computer without warning, even when I'm not in contact with the laptop at all. It's really in the way of myself using my laptop, since I can't even type easily. Writing even this message was very difficult, given that the SHIFT is very inclined to press ctrl as well for some reason any, but which may or may not be the fault of the absence of a case key for my key Ctrl. As I was saying before, however, that the absence of Carter has never been a problem, even when I used Shift.

    My computer keyboard has changed often other languages for this reason also, and I had to go into my settings and erase all my shortcuts for changes of language because of this problem.

    I had to resort to the help of my shift for caps and random lock record and bookmarks and find windows pop up without warning. Backspace erases sometimes whole lines because, with the CTRL key, BACKSPACE deletes words, no letters.

    If someone could give me an answer, I would be really grateful!

    Hi Chrysfaic,

    You can try these steps and see if it helps.

    Step 1:

    Try pressing both keys CTRL left and right at the same time and see if that release CTRL.

    Step 2:

    a. go to start / settings / control Panel / Accessibility Options Options /Keyboard.

    b. turn off CTRL lock if it is enabled.

    c. If this solves and to avoid future problems, press "settings".

    d. disable "Press modifier key twice to lock.

    e. turn "disable automaintenues keys if 2 key at the same time." Or disable "use shortcut".

    For more information, see the following article:

    Facilitate the use of the keyboard

    Step 3:

    Clean your keyboard.

    If you're still having problems, then you may need to replace the keyboard.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Impossible to activate by phone/key locked and OEM is no longer in business

    Installed 10 Windows to look and see if I had to upgrade, and now I have a problem with the activation of Windows 7 Pro 64.  I installed 10 Windows on a separate disk and has not attempted activation, but somehow this caused my copy of Windows 7 to be considered not authentic.  I just wanted to throw an eye to decide whether to update or not.  I contacted support at Ms telephone activation to see what I would do to this topic, and they said that I should call the OEM for the unlocked key.  However, the PC is a Nanosystems and NS is no longer active.  It seems that I have no option, even though the key was authentic and in use by me personally for more than two years, the period of time that I owned the PC.

    Is there a place where I can find help in this situation?  I just want back my working copy of Windows 7 before expiry of 30 days.  I completely deleted the installation of Windows 10 and I can come back later, but for now all my programs and files on the Windows 7 disc.

    BTW, MS wrote the key is authentic and he passed every test validation for two years, but there is noone that I can contact to have the unlocked key.  Please, I need this PC to be functional.  Thanks for any help.

    Legally an OEM pre-install and resell Windows, MS requires that they affix a COA sticker to prove the BONES into real and provide a product key, so you can at any time request activation of factory-mass SLP activation in the activation of Safe Harbor of Ms.  No OEM sells legit Windows 7 without this sticker.  It is a classic case where the sticker protects MS Customers, because the OEM bankrupt.  Other cases are the awful bloatware on factory installed which paralyse the operating system.

    If the key is still legible you can insert it in the link of Activation of system properties page.  As it is already validated it should activate.

    If this is not the case, there could be interference with the SLP factory activation file still on board, so I'd do the vastly superior own reinstall Windows 7 if you do not already have one.  Make sure you disconnect all other drives.

    Never buy a product key less than a major retailer and then not Amazon third and never eBay.  You will lose your money.
