F9M14UA #ABA: TS Envy 17 - actual resolution subscribed not configured for external TV monitor

Answered my own question.

With TV 4K as extended display by dragging the windows back, I could see more clearly what was going on.  I was on the right track, just not familiar with the scale display ("size of the text, applications and other elements,") apparently presented with Windows 8.1.  The problem is that Windows uses a scale factor (150% in the case of the TV 1080 p, 300% with the 4 K TV), different from what has been configured in settings: 100%.

Change it to 200%, logout and back, then put at 100% (and reconsignation once again,) solved the problem.

When you put the Warp stabilizer on a few sequences, you will be asked to analyze images so that it can stabilize.

Some of my clips, apparently went not analyzed, and when I made my video (which took several hours), melted pictures made the "Frame not parsed for stabilization; analysis of press' blue WARNING in it. The warning made as if she was part of the film itself.

If it's supposed to happen? This is really shocking.

Moreover, I wish that the rendering process would have lived and analyzed all the sequences and the application of all the effects before the release of the final product.

    Hello!

Have you tried to update the display on your laptop driver? Check the Toshiba site for an update:

In addition, it would be interesting to know if you are running the factory settings or you have installed your own version of Windows?
And what operating system are you using? Have you installed all Windows updates?

For external LCD, monitors, you must set the screen refresh rate of 60 Hz.
And if you want to change the resolution of the screen, you must select the second monitor in the graphics options on Windows.

  • HP Envy 15t: the resolution on the external display support

I want to put my HP Envy 15t to drive an external, not as an extension monitor, but rather as my first monitor.  My external monitor is a Viewsonic VX2250, a bit older and I use an HDMI adapter / VGA.  (The Viewsonic also has DVI inputs... not sure it would make a difference.)  On my current tour, I use the monitor in its recommended (or native mode) 1920 x 1080 definition.  I love this screen.

The adapter is a Bytecc HM-VGA005 and specs seem to indicate that it can handle a variety of video resolutions - Full HD (1080 p), WUXGA (1920 x 1200 mode RB) and UXGA (1600 x 1200-mode VESA).

15 t is currently shooting in the recommended 1366 x 768 resolution.  If I understand the straight plug, in HD mode it is 1366 x 768 and FHD mode is 1920 x 1080.   The graphics card is an Intel Graphics HD 4600.  Is this the reason why I can't get a HD resolution and not FHD resolution on the laptop?

But whenever I plug all this together and try and change the settings for screen for laptop, the external screen resolution is only 1024 x 768... pretty ugly.  I have it so that the laptop screen is dark and only the external monitor is on.  But it doesn't seem to be any choice I can do to improve this resolution.  I checked that the graphics driver is up to date and it is.

What should I do to get the best screen I can on the external monitor?  Would like to buy a new monitor HDMI inputs get better results?  Do I need a different adapter?

    Thank you... Kurt

Me again!  Well, it was a bit the nut behind the wheel.  I checked with the store that I've been buying my cables, adapters, etc.  He said to the Viewsonic monitor to see what might happen.  As I was put in place, he asked on the power adapter.  I got the USB cable but do not think it was necessary.  But after putting everything together in addition to feeding the HDMI adapter / VGA, I could see, I was getting the resolution I hoped.  Why it worked on the monitor Dell, no idea... maybe a better monitor or other VGA cable.  The Bytecc adpater didn't come with instructions, so I didn't.

All right.  Hope this helps someone in the future.

  • Games running in lower resolution on the desktop resolution does not fill the screen

I have a laptop HP ENVY 17 TS with NVIDIA GT 740 M and Intel 4600HD graphics drivers and running Windows 7. Whenever I want to change the resolution in games at a lower resolution on the desktop resolution, the game shrinks to its view, leaving the couple of inches black bars on the edges. For example, if my the desktop resolution is 1920 x 1080 and I want to start a game in 1600 x 900, the game does not fill the screen, instead, it leaves an amount of empty space on the edges of the screen.

In order to solve this problem, I tried the following steps:

I first tried to locate the view tab in the NVIDIA Control Panel in order to define the scale/stretch in "Full screen", but my version of NVIDIA CP isn't the view tab (my NVIDIA drivers are the latest version).

Then I discovered that I should do this in the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel. My Intel HD Graphics CP has an option named "Calibration" under display > display settings and it doesn't show the option to retain display scaling that is checked by default and does not change. Also, after searching the Internet I saw that some people suggested entering the 'advanced settings' and try to make changes. When I try to enter advanced settings, under view, it says 'this screen does not support advanced settings'.

After trying without success, I tried the update driver Intel via their website, hoping that it can fix the problem. I ran the small Intel application on their Web site that identifies my chipset and offers me the latest driver for this chipset. Web site told me that the driver is installed on my computer is 10.18.10.3304, and there is an update for what is 15.33.18.64.3496 (or 10.18.10.3496). So I downloaded the file, but when I tried to run, it gave me this error message: "the drivre being installed is not validated for this computer. You can get the correct driver from the manufacturer of the computer. Setup will now exit. "that makes no sense.

After trying the above steps, I'm not able to solve the problem, and I need help from someone who really knows how to solve this problem.

    Thank you.

    Solution (I hope)

    1. choose the properties of the graphic (logo Intel) option when you right click on the desktop

    2. go in view

    3. go through the resolutions on the 'Resolution' and change to this resolution (do not click Apply)

    4. for everyone to go to 'Scaling' at the bottom of the screen and change it to scale full screen (do not click Apply)

    5. Repeat until you get back to the higher resolution (that won't let you change the scale).

    6. quickly choose a few resolutions from the drop-down menu to make sure that they have changed their scale.

I had a problem with some resoultions changing the way they were, but which should solve most of the problems.

    Please advise?

I know this is an old thread, but I came across it looking for a solution to the same problem. It turns out that my problem has a cause simple and simple solution. I had accidentally pressed the "multiple displays" function key on my keyboard (F4 on my HP Envy) and therefore affect my screen out of two monitors without realizing it. I started getting the error "the screen resolution is too low for this application to run", came here, tried to change my resolution screen and then realized what I had done. Once I changed the key function to the PC only, the problem has been resolved.

  • Why resolution is not displayed

Under what resolution the answer said that it is the most high possible, given the camera taking the picture.  It is a useful step, given that there is a wide range of photographers and cameras they use.

How can we find the actual resolution?

In addition, the site is very frustrating to navigate given show you approximately 100 images and no way to learn more about a screen. After the paging in all 15-20 pages, it gets really boring.

Tymoshenko question is, where is the resolution for a photo info?

The images are at least 300 dpi. If you want an exact resolution to confirm research for the stock on Fotolia.com photo number and you will get all the details. I don't know why these data is not flying so of Fotolia, but I hope it will be in the future.

  • NB200 - screen resolution is not enough to run the update

I am trying to install an update to a program that I already have in my NB200 and I can't because it says the resolution of the screen is not sufficient for the execution of this update.

Can someone suggest a 'fix' for this please?

    Hello

Well, I have no idea why no update of the request for the resolution of the screen because this should not affect the update procedures, but it would be interesting to change the resolution, and then to re-run the update.

I guess that you're using Win XP right click on the desktop-> properties-> settings

Here, you can increase the resolution of the screen.

On the other hand, it might be possible that your graphics card driver needs to be updated.
To do this, see European driver of Toshiba.

  • 5200 - S801 resolution 1680 x 1050, on external large display, satellite?

    How?
    460GO video card

    Hello

I can only repeat a few suggestions which were published here in the forum
The available screen resolution depends on the graphics driver.
Generally, the resolution is not available because it s are not not in the graphics driver.

That is why there is no much to do. If the driver does not support the resolution of 1680 x 1050, you will not be able to choose.

  • Equium A100-306: cannot set resolution 1440 x 900 on external monitor

Has anyone encountered this problem? I searched the web without success and it doesn't seem to be all programs that will force the graphics in this resolution. Is only shown for linux-based systems which have a complex solution for this. I have a new A100-306.
The maximum power that I get is 1280 x 1024, which is ok but lack just that final freshness.

I think that the solution will be an update of the video bios but it is an update from the manufacturer and not a processor intel, a? As the machine is new he does not appear to be updated again. If anyone has a solution please post, if not Toshiba please quickly with an updated driver.

    Thank you

    Hello

I read several candidate here in the forum on different screen resolutions that are not available for the external display.
Fact is, if no resolution of the screen is not available, then the graphics driver doesn t contain the display resolution in the list. In this case you must use the common screen resolution which is available. But this isn't a problem.

Furthermore, each screen support a clean resolution. I mean the screen with a resolution which is the best for this view. Then the screen and the image is very clear, and as you said crisp.

On my screen I can pick several display resolutions, but the best resolution for my monitor 1280 x 800.

  • Max Resolution for external monitor via HDMI on Lenovo Y700?

    Hello

I hope that someone has experience with external monitors on a computer laptop y700.

I would like to ask if my laptop Y700 supports resolutions higher than 1920 x 1080 for external displays via HDMI.

    My model is:

    https://www.Amazon.de/Lenovo-i5-6300HQ-quad-core-Prozessor-Betriebssystem/DP/B016QB9HZK/ref=sr_1_2?i...

    I want to use a monitor with a resolution of: 2560 x 1080

    https://www.Amazon.de/DP/B00TF0X37I/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&ColId=31RP1ZDSM66ZA&colii...

Is this possible with my laptop. And it is even possible to connect a 4K screen?

Thanks in advance for your help.

So finally, I tried to connect my laptop to a 2560 x 1080 widescreen-resolution-display via HDMI in an electronics store:

THIS MARKET! It is not a problem to run it with 2560 x 1080 at 60 Hz. The only problem might be a 4K resolution screen that it only works with 30 Hz, because it's an HDMI 1.4 port.

  • HP Envy 5540: Printer Hp Envy 5540 randomly printed the Network Configuration Page

    Hello!

I bought this printer about a month ago. Set up the connection to the printer wireless with my wifi, and my understanding is that the printer is protected like my wifi and use the same password in order to print something. I kept my printer connected and 'standby mode' since I put in place. The night last at about 23:00 when I was in bed, the printer turned on randomly and printed a "wireless network configuration page" that has had a lot of information, including the IP address and listing my name wifi as well as the names of my neighbors wifi in the surrounding apartments.

I'm trying to understand why this printed, because I certainly did not do. Anyone have access to my wifi, or has someone may simply try to print something and selected my printer as it should appear on the "list available connections on the computer of anyone, given that the printer is turned on? How could they print this sheet of network configuration if my printer is password protected?

I'm mostly concerned about someone who has access to my internet if they could print this page somehow, but maybe it happened just when they tried to connect to it, and it did not work while trying to fix MY printer?

I would appreciate any idea on the issue.

    Thank you!

    Hi @printerprob5540,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I saw your post on how your HP Envy 5540 randomly print a Network Configuration Page. I'm happy to help with this problem!

I find it very strange considering the only way to print the Network Configuration Page, AFAIK, is with the following steps:

    • Make sure that there are size A4 or US Letter, unused, plain paper in the feeder.
    • On the printer Panel, drag the screen to the left and then press Setup.
    • Touch tools.
    • Drag upward on the screen and then tap Network Configuration report.
    • A Network Configuration Page prints up to three pages of information.
