  Try to install the game in XP compatibility mode and check if it helps.

  1. right click on the Setup file, and then selectProperties.
  2. click on the compatibilitytab.
  3. in compatibility mode, check therun this program in compatibility mode for:option.
  4. Select XP (Service Pack 2)or Windows XP (Service Pack 3)from the options offered.
  5. click on apply andOK.

• Fable 3 corrupted save file

  Just picked up fable 3 and updated my graphics card. Whenever I have save my game it says that the file is corrupted and I can't load my last record.

  • What version of Windows are you using?

  It seems that saved for fable 3 games folder is corrupted.

  I suggest you to remove the saved game folder to resolve this problem.
   
  The location is c:\users\user account\Saved games for windows vista/7
  Here are the steps for Windows XP:

  To open the My Documents folder, follow these steps:
  1. on start and then click My Documents.
  2. double-click click my games and then double-click Fable.

  After you delete the folder, you can play the game and try to save it again.

  From now game Fable 2 is available for the Xbox and not for PC. I'm not sure of the release date for Fable 2 for PC.

• Fable: The lost Chapters (invalid product key)

  I bought Fable: The Lost Chapters recently.  I tried to install it and got this message:

  "You have not entered a valid product key.

  Please check the number located on your certificate of Authenticity on the back of your CD package. »

  So I did the silly check and found that I have indeed enter it correctly (do not enter any 8 instead of B etc.)

  I checked the solution from Microsoft Support on this subject and deleted my temporary internet files and restart the computer by using a clean upward start as suggested, nothing works... I still get the same message.

  I tried to call the support hotline 1-800-537-8324 and told me that I couldn't be helped by phone... so here I am.

  Online, I read that there was a problem with product keys and get a new one from Microsoft.  How can I do this?

  If you use Windows 7, then it is not compatible with Windows 7.

• Fable does not

  Hi, I'm on my 3rd copy of Fable the lost chapters and I'm not one of them to install. All other games install easily, but my system can't get any info from another disk is the disk of the fable and the content.

  So, you put the disc, then nothing happens? Try to explore the content of the CD, find setup.exe or install.exe. It should be there and double click it. Looks like the autorun can not be doing anything.

  Fable is not compatible with Vista or Win 7. A Microsoft game that does not work on a platform Microsoft...
