  Hello.

  I get email in my Inbox windows mail without problem most of the time, but then every so often one of them will remain only for a split second, then disappear.

  Happens if fast, that I don't get a chance to see who it is from. so I don't know if I lost completely, or if it the next time I get emails.

  Does anyone else have this problem?

  I use the app Facebook 1.6 on my "BOLD". And I like it. But one thing that bothers me...

  Of course all facebook notification emails have to go to my email account (hotmail). BIS picks them up and then when they hit the unit I guess rather than hitting the messages as usual, the device folder punts in facebook to display it.

  But now I find myself with all notification emails in my Hotmail account. If I wasn't using the facebook app, I would delete these to my list of messages, and they would be gone from hotmail too (as I reconciliation). But because I use it, even when I delete messages from facebook etc... (and I don't know all the notifications are facebook messages) they are not deleted from Hotmail.

  I looked at the implementation of an AutoFilter on hotmail punt FB messages in a subfolder, but then BIS will not see them.

  in the facebook application, have you checked the notifications options? If I remember correctly, there is a specific to your problem (ie: delete the notification by e-mail once the facebook app called IT)

  Hard to say, unless I missed it, you have not explained

  1. who is your provider

  2. what data plan you have (data plan, unlimited limited or capped, internet only plan with no e-mail).

  This will help to answer, but better yet, you'd be better off getting this information from your business, if you are interested in the costs of "carrier".

  But if you reply to the above, I bet we can help you to determine if or not you carrier charges.

  It looks like a known issue reported here:

  There was a workaround solution posted, but I have not tested it myself. Here are the steps.

  1. Go to the Yahoo Messenger Options - change the window in the tab menu and press OK.
  2. Then go back and switch to the small window and press OK.

  The bug has already been fixed. So, you can download the beta version of FF 10 If this is a really important feature for you.

  I've had Skype for about two years now. Since I got it, it was convenient that the new message notification seems to go away when I look at the Skype window.

  Well, this is more the case.

  The new message notice persists, but it isn't permanent, fortunately. It goes away after I have send a new message to the group, or until I manually "mark as read".

  It's not a big deal, but it is rather annoying that it does not have its own more. I already tried to restart Skype and that does not seem to solve the problem.

• Windows Mail notification sounds

  I have a suggestion rather than a question: would be nice if the noise announcing new messages is customizable. For example, I would have preferred that has no sound for mail that ends up in the junk e-mail folder. What do I care about SPAM? It would be even better if the arrival notification is customizable via the Message rules. For example, I delete all messages containing the word "Bra" in the subject line (I don't know why they want to sell bras in this skinny graybeard, in middle age, but they are powerful persistent.) In any case, I would like to delete the sound arrival for these deleted message notification. Take it further, I would like to be able to assign sounds to specific recipients. Establish rules that dump of messages from specific senders in specific folders and delivers a unique sound.

  Anyway, there is apparently no way to send this suggestion directly to MS right now, so I thought that I would drop here for conversation. This desire for more usable for notification sounds occurred to someone else?

  As Bruce said, you can use OE in Windows 7 (www.oehelp.com/OEnWin7.aspx) in doing so, then you can use my program OETune (www.oehelp.com/OETune/) to set the sounds to play or the HTML files to display for specific folders, whenever a message arrives in a folder.  So you can then use the rules to messages from Shuttle to different folders, and you can define a specific sound for each folder.

  Windows Live Mail, so even not suck the penalty try, unless you want to see how Microsoft can get.

  I have several emails saved in the folders on my PC under the Windows Mail (Vista) and Outlook Express (Windows XP).
  I have upgraded to Office 2000 / Office 2007 Outlook fact as my mail default EXE installed. now I'm reviewing these saved emails
  with file extension *. EML for printing - and cannot be opened using Outlook 2007 - office 2000 uninstalled after the upgrade and after

  You get this error message because Windows Mail is disabled.  Here's how to fix it:

  As for the conversion of formats of messge, Yes, there are programs that will do it, depending on how much money you want... the separation with the fact that none of them are free. You can find a lot of them with a quick search on Google.  Once you download Windows Mail re-activated, however, the rest of the transfer should be farily simple.
