FaceTime "check E-mail address".

When signing into my iPod touch for Facetime, he asked me to "' check an e-mail address: a verified email address is required to connect to Facetime." " The latter appears in a pop-up with a button "check". I click it and it takes me to the Apple account site to manage my account, but nothing to do with "check my email." Help, please.

the apple account configuration pages going basically is inviting you to check here.  There should be a link to send you an email to verify your Apple ID.  After checking, it should work your facetime.  otherwise, refer to apple online giudes

    If you want to test an exact match, you could do something like:

    Get the value of the first e-mail address

    em1 var = getField("Email_Address").valueAsString;

    See if the value of this field to the other, but only if this field is not empty

    If (event.value & event.value! == em1) {}

    App.Alert ("your error goes here.", 3 ");

    }

    You could add code to reject the value (event.rc = false) or do a case-insensitive comparison by converting two lowercase field values.

  • Cannot send an email - please check the e-mail address in your account properties

    I'm having a nightmare getting my live account works with outlook 2002 on Virgin Media. I can receive mail (which was never a problem) and after constantly fiddling with settings, I removed all errors except one.

    The e-mail address is the same in Outlook and living as it was copy and pasted (I did not trust my typing after 20 attempts!).

    I do not have a Microsoft Email account!  My wife did and when I click on the button check it evokes its address!

    I just bought a new Dell with Windows 8 and recorded with my separate email address and they send it to my e-mail address for confirmation and it evokes e-mail address of my wife in the cross reference by address or telephone numbers.

    It is very painful and would like to know what are my options to return to Windows 7

    How to check an e-mail address in your Microsoft account

    When you use a different e-mail to your Microsoft account, you get a link in an e-mail. Follow the link in that email to verify the address e-mail. If you need a new verification email:
    1. Connect to the Manage aliases for your account page.
    2. Click on validate next to your email address and then click on email.

    If you want to go for verification by phone, you must type the code that appears on the verification page. As soon as you type the phone number and click on "send code", the next page will ask you this code.

    Hi, I have some problems with the different Apple ID and e-mail addresses connected to them, and I hope someone can help me in what to do.

    First a primer on my Apple ID

    ***@me.com - it's my account General iCloud (backup, iMessage, Facetime etc.).

    ***@losmail.no - my iTunes/App account (purchase and download music, app, etc..)

    ***@me.com: I have no problem connecting to this account (appleid.apple.com, iCloud.com etc etc..)

    ***@losmail.no: I have no problem connecting to this account in iTunes/App Store. However, I can not connect on appleid.apple.com with this account because he asked me to check the email address. However, this e-mail address use a messaging service that doesn't work anymore, so I can't check it out. Because it is a private messaging service, I want to change the Apple ID on my account @gmail.com.

    I believe, however, that the account @gmail.com has been connected to the account @losmail.no because I received my shopping etc. of my account @losmail.no sent to ***@gmail.com. These recipes also "Apple ID: * @gmail.com. When I connect to the account, however, use ***@losmail.no. However, an I said, I want to log on by using ***@gmail.com.

    What is strange is that in iTunes / App Store, I can connect with ***@gmail.com. However, this is not the same account as ***@losmail.noand previous purchases / comments etc. are not available. It's strange because said revenues (Ref. above).

    An other ting that indicates that the Apple ID where I use ***@losmail.no once was connected to ***@gmail.com, is what happens when I try to log in to ***@gmail.com to appleid.apple.com. Then, I get a message saying that the e-mail address must be verified. I can write the code sent to the ***@gmaiI.com, but it is said then that this e-mail address is already is used by another Apple ID, so it cannot be verified.

    So I guess my question is, basically, how I can change the ID of the ***@losmail.no to ***@gmail.com Apple when I can't access the account losmail, but the appleid.apple.com tells me that I need to check this email address.

    Thanks for all the details with your accounts.

    Can be difficult to have more than one Apple with several e-mails all mixed together.  If an email is used with another Apple ID, for example, that e-mail can be used to create a new Apple ID or rename an old.

    The analysis of what you seem to have however...

    Your purchases are with your *@losmail.no Apple ID, but the emails for this go to your *@gmail.com email address.

    *@gmail.com is the primary e-mail address for your Apple ID *@losmail.no.

    You can connect to iTunes or manage your page ID with *@gmail.com Apple says it's an Apple ID on its own.  As an email address can only be verified for an Apple ID, which means that he must check with your *@losmail.no Apple ID and cannot be verified with *@gmail.com.

    You say you can not connect on appleid.apple.com with *@losmail.no you will need to check the email address.  You have a relief attached to this ID e-mail? This is the email that would be used to recover.   You receive your check or reset email - Apple Support

    Bottom line, you want to change your primary Apple ID but outdated to *@losmail.no to *@gmail.com, you must first rename *@gmail.com to something else and delete this email of all codes from Apple as well.  Then follow the link above to get access to *@losmail.no and control so that you can rename it.

    My wife is in her pimp for a few years and I did not much else than to send the odd email.

    Now she has a new MacBook Air and admit not remembering how my account works.  It only works in the emails ending: iCloud.  It has 3.

    I have an Apple ID, bit if ever used.  Now, get in there, we cannot fathom out.  I have an e-mail address that ends with: hotmail.com and one which ends with: outlook.com.

    She has created an icloud.com address today for me, for the purpose of the eradication of my hotmail address.  I can't work on that is the primary e-mail address.

    Why my main e-mail address appears as my Apple ID?  It ends in: outlook.com

    She has created an email address iCloud which ends: iCloud.com. It is named as: checked.

    But on the web from iCloud, I says I have '0' 3 aliases.  As a result, the Apple ID cannot be my main email address.  Can he?

    That's all what I can possibly get rid of my hotmail email.

    In my mail, the area of does not show my new address iCloud which ends: iCloud, created today.

    Any ideas?

    Well, it seems that there is a mixture to the top with knowing what email address is your primary Apple ID! Not to worry. Knowing what email addresses are actually Apple ID should allow you to sort. So it is with the creation of this new email iCloud.com, automatically an another Apple ID in addition to your original ID of Apple. However, this code and your Outlook.com ID cannot be combined or merged. Which, in my opinion, would be the best resolution is to use the Web page of my Apple ID.     You must log in using your identifier to Apple of Outlook.com manage.

    This link can help you with any other ID you have location without knowing you have. Recover your Apple ID

    Try entering your name and different email that you use to see if they are also Apple ID.

  • Any Web site I'll, will automatically switch to another Web browser when I click on a contact e-mail address link, even if firefox is my default?

    When I'm on a Web site, when I try to use the e-mail address provided in the contact section of the website whatever, I'm on, as soon as I click on the link to contact this person or persons, it will immediately move to Google Chrome, rather than continue to use Firefox, even though I have Firefox set as my default browser.

    Someone suggested that I go to my control panel and make sure that Firefox is selected, I went there to do this, set it as default and checked what it says under Chrome while I was there for. He said Chrome I have 1 default on 20. I went to see what it was. He has access to HTML, or whatever that one is (I can go back and get the full name if necessary) why would they automatically this default value assigned to them? I could not not - select this option for Chrome, it was not possible to for change, it is mandatory?

    Is this what can I do to configure Firefox for all the default settings?

    It depends on what type of mail account you have and how Thunderbird downloads of your emails.

    • If Thunderbird downloads your mail via IMAP Protocol, a copy of all your messages will remain on the mail server and Thunderbird can easily download and then again on your new computer. Just to set up your email account and your emails will be downloaded to your new computer.
    • If Thunderbird downloads your mail via the POP3 mail protocol will be deleted from the e-mail server after that which is downloaded to your computer, which means that the only copy of your e-mails are on your broken computer.

    Then, you should check your email account settings (you can perhaps ask your email provider) to find out how your email account has been set up.

    If it turns out your email account using POP3, the only option would be to go to a hard with your damaged computer disk/computer store and let them try to retrieve your emails for you.
