FaceTime/iMessage, do not connect

any time I try to connect with my apple ID just little loading symbol continue to go and he never charges / open face time - the same as with iMessage? any advice-simple instructions if possible

Please take each of the following steps that you have not already tried it. Stop when the problem is resolved.

1. exit the application. Force quit if necessary.

He raises in holding down the SHIFT key and clicking on its icon. This action prevents the last State of the window to be recharged.

2. If a product of "anti-virus" McAfee is installed, remove it by following these instructions.

Note that if you have already tried to uninstall the software, you may need to reinstall in order to finish the job. If you have a different version of the product, the steps may be different.

Back up all data before making any changes. Never install a software "anti-virus" or "anti-malware" again.

3. If you synchronize Contacts with one or more network such as iCloud services or Google, please turn off all accounts contact in the iCloud or subwindow accounts system preferences. When you are prompted to confirm, choose to remove contacts from the Mac. They will still be on servers and other devices.

Log off or restart the computer.

If the problem is now resolved, reactivate accounts one at a time, wait until the network contacts reappear and test after each step.

    Hello, Randy Burleson1,.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

If I understand your message that you are not able to connect to iMessage or FaceTime on iPad Air. I like to use iMessage and FaceTime myself, so I want to help you as best I can to solve these issues. I recommend first of all, by ensuring that your Apple ID works correctly. To do this try logging on to appleid.apple.com from your browser.

If you succeed, then on your iPhone go to settings and Messages. Scroll down and click on the section titled send / receive. If you are connected to the iMessage you will see the words Apple ID and email address. Type your address email Apple ID, click Disconnect.

Once out of the faucet, use your Apple ID with iMessage and enter your e-mail address Apple ID and password.

Repeat the same steps with FaceTime.

If you receive error messages, please respond and let us know what you receive error messages.

  • Is it possible to have iMessage turned off automatically when the phone detects that it is not connected to wifi?

My daughter continues to send iMessages when she's out and about (IE. When it is not connected to wifi) and iMessages are sent using its data allocation, and it continues to go over its data allocation. Is it possible to get the phone to turn off the iMessages automatically when it detects that it is not connected to wifi, so that messages are then sent via sms texts, and then it reconnects to iMessage when reconnected to the Wifi? (I know it can be done manually in the settings, but she keeps forgetting to do so).

    Not automatically.

  • FaceTime/imessage journal by mistake on macbook 10.11.6.

    Hello

I have problems with my login Factime/imessage on macbook 10.11.6. I did all the appleid checking online and my facetime/imessage works perfectly on my iphone. I deleted all the antiviruses MacBook and restarted my macbook several times. But I'm still not able to connect on facetime/imessage.

I read all the answers about this but, the answers were not at all useful. So, I need a good answer that actually solved my problem.

NOTE: I've contacted apple support and the representative I talked to tried to fix my problem, but she was not able to solve the problem. So she set up an appointment with high technology for the next day. I was higher with tech phone and he told me to run something that was sent to my email, but my macbook took forever to fill that run. So give up on that as well.

Now, I'm looking for the answer that in fact the problem will be solved.

  • iMessage does not not on new Macbook Pro

Brand new on the Macbook here! My 13 "Macbook Pro just arrived yesterday and I'm starting to get my bearings. I think I started to get the hang of it, but for the life of me, I can't get iMessage or FaceTime to work! Messages will recognize my Gmail account, but when I try to activate the iMessages, I get an error message that tells me to check my network connection and try again. The login screen then says: an error has occurred during authentication, in red letters. Everything else seems to work very well; AppStore, iTunes, sync with my iPhone 6s, etc.. For the record, Apple ID is verified, no firewall or FileVault.

Since I'm not up to speed of genius of Apple, I need directions to the layman, if possible

    Thank you in advance!

I have this problem too, started yesterday for me, there is no reason for my iMessage or FaceTime suddenly do not work, I have not done anything to my mac which would make it unusable,

I tried everything in the book to fix it, and now I'm just to believe that its something potato side which has corrupted it, I restarted my mac, change of time zone back, changed DNS 8.8.8.8, starts in safe mode, reset NVRAM, created new user and tried on this, even reinstalled OSX and still the problem persists ,

How to tell us even to apple to fix something like that? I am running mavericks and I know that a lot of people are running el capitan, however, these positions have arisen around the same period of time for me, regardless of what people of firmware seam to be on the same "cannot connect connection check" subject exact or the spinning wheel for always trying to connect

  • Messages does not connect to the Yahoo IM account?

Messages app v9.2, currently works very well with my Google account and iMessage, also worked with my Yahoo Messenger account, but recently (today?) does not connect to it.

I know that Yahoo has made changes to their Instant Messaging System. This change affected only Messages?

    Hello

    I can't connect either (I didn't realize that I do not use)

However going on the Yahoo Site and change the password does nothing.

With the help of their option 'insecure Apps' does nothing no more (there was an email saying I was using access to messaging through an unsafe application - but I have not used their messaging service for a very long time.)

It does say read more suggests, is not Mail (after OS X 10.9 is OK)

He does not on access to their e-mail service.

There is no option in Messages to try to activate disable SSL you can with AIM or Jabber accounts

I have looked in the help (a little) but still found nothing.

  • FaceTime / iMessage account numbers

I transferred the SIM card from my daughter for his iPhone iPad - everything works well except the FaceTime and iMessage.

On her iPhone, it can do FaceTime / iMessage with the "phone number" and the email address set up his account of Apple. However, it also has a gmail id that she used on her iPad FaceTime / iMessage. When we try to add this email to FaceTime / iMessage on the iPhone, as a third 'send and receive' address, we get the activation failed message - "unable to vΘrifier email because it is already in use."

    We tried several options, including:

    • reset the settings iPad "factory".
    • disconnected (e) Apple ID account from his iPhone & the MBP (including iMessage & FaceTime)
    • Reconnect on the Apple account and configuration iMessage & FaceTime on the iPhone and the MBP
      • the 'phone number' and email associated with the added fine Apple account identification
      • but adding the old iPad gmail id as a third 'Send and receive' address still doesn't work

Any help in getting this old id gmail as a third 'Send and receive' address to iMessage & FaceTime will be greatly appreciated!

I had these questions (iMessage, etc.). I usually get things to agin by runnig

    1. turn on and outside iMessage

    2 reset the network settings

    3 reset all settings

More recently, reset all settings fixed things. Kind of a pain because you have to fix your wallpaper and change a number of return parameters, but it tends to work pretty well if all else fails. Certainly better than the restoration and the establishment of a phone as new, which is the next step if reset all settings does not help.

  • How to stop iPhone to convert to the iMessage automatically when connected to the Internet?

I have an iPhone, and some of my contacts are saved with iMessage and SMS. Whenever I start a conversation with a contact, it is a conversation of message text (green bubble), but as soon as I try to text the person while I'm connected to the internet, the conversation turns into an iMessage (blue bubble) conversation. I don't want it to do as sometimes the contact cannot be connected to the internet and therefore will not receive a my test up to connect to the Internet. How to make a conversation that began as a conversation of SMS RESTENT a SMS conversation, whereas if I don't want to start a conversation with the same contact iMessage, I manually converted an iMessage conversation?

    Thanks in advance guys.

You can do that unless you put temporarily out of your data connection (settings-> cellular) or disable iMessage himself.

But the good news is that you don't have to do either. In settings-> Messages, you will find an option called "send as SMS. If you turned it on and your receiver remains offline for a few minutes, the message will be sent as message text automatically.

In addition, if you see the iMessage has not been delivered, you can tap and hold the bubble and will give you the ability to send as message text as well.

  • iMessage does not

Good then when I turn on my iMessage and I have wifi it works perfectly. Once I get out of my house I can't send text messages more. I have a plan to send SMS and calls, but just it has no data. I don't want to completely disable my IMessage because I wouldn't be able to iMessage other devices. What should I do?

To use iMessage not connected to Wi - Fi, you must have a data plan. Or, you must have the setting send SMS on. The message initially will attempt to send as an iMessage, and after a period where it cannot send as iMessage, he will return to SMS. Not the best solution, but if you do not have a cellular data plan, your only option. This can lead to significant delays in the delivery of the message.

  • iPhone 5s does not connect to internet unless its connected to wifi

I have a 5 s IPhone it does not connect to internet unless I'm at home connected to wifi. I can not send imessages or browse the web what should I do?

You did that mobile data is turned on in the settings/phone/cell data?

Also, make sure that the apps you want to use for the cell data are enabled in the list below these settings.

  • Always send/receive texts even if my data is turned off (and I am not connected to wifi)?

I'll be getting an iPhone 6 s at the end of next month. 64 GB with 3 concert data (it's cheaper for me to upgrade and stay on the plan from my parents as it is for me to make my own plan). In terms of my parents, I already have a plan of SMS and minutes for my current phone (a cursor). The 6s be my first official smartphone. There is already a plan of texting in place, and the extra thing only reason I pay is the data plan.

But I was just wondering (and I know it's a stupid question)... can I still send/receive text messages as I would with a smartphone not (and make calls and others), even if I have my data off AND I am NOT connected to wifi?

    Yes.

SMS text messages using your cellular operator's voice communication channels.  They do not use the data.

However, if you use iMessage, who would use the data.  So keep that off.

  • Since activation apple CarPlay, my iPhone does not connect to my Bluetooth infotainment system

I have recently taken delivery of a VW Tiguan MkII 2016 and could easily match my 6 s iPhone with it. Now, however, I created CarPlay Apple and VW car-net connect my iPhone via USB. Now my iPhone is no longer connect via bluetooth when not plugged into the USB port. It seems that I can now use only my phone by CarPlay which I do not plan to use whenever I drive the car. Is there a solution to this?

    Hi biker.

I understand that as you have activated the Carplay, your iPhone will not connect to your car stereo via bluetooth. You can try to disable the Carplay on the device, and then test the bluetooth connection. Because you are trying to connect via clips and wireless at the same time, this can cause some problems. Using one or the other should solve this problem.
