Hello

I have iphone 6s more with IOS 9.3.2 and how I can installed facetime on this unit. I brought this carrier device (Middle East), which does not provide an iphone with active factime.

If the phone was bought in a region where it is forbidden to FaceTime, there is no way to change this.

    The bug appeared after the first intentional reboot after iOS 10 updated, my iPhone 5 has been disconnected for a few hours. When it started I started to receive petitions of iM/FT on reboot or a random time after even if iM/FT completely!

    I did not move my SIM card. If I refuse to activate iM I can't see my phone number in the Contacts section.

    The same bug persists on the iPhone of my 5s wife while his phone has never been disconnected except 10.0.2 update.

    Here is how to fix iMessage / FaceTime activation do not question.

    Before you begin, you'll need sort these things:

    • Make sure that in the phone application, you got your registered number. On top of "Contacts", you should see your registered number (My Number :). If not, you will need to go to settings → → my phone number and enter your number.
    • Make sure that the Date and time (in general) are correct. Set to "Set automatically" to ensure that the time zone is correct and the iPhone is at the right time.
    • Also make sure you have a working network. Problems of Wi - fi can cause iMessage activation problems therefore have active cell.
      For some users, the message for activation goes out as an international SMS. Make sure that your carrier allows these and you have a sufficient amount to send them.


    1. contact your operator

    First of all, make sure that your carrier supports iMessage or not. Contact the support team of carrier and check any condition limiting on your iMessage, blocks or text filters.

    2. airplane mode

    As strange as it sounds, maybe you should try this method if nothing else works. We found the airplane mode activation mode in one of the discussions. It sounds simple, and if it is correct, it would be nice, right?

    Here's how it works:

    Step #1. Get off at scroll → settings touch Messages and turn offiMessage (also turn off FaceTime)

    Step #2. Turn on airplane mode. WiFi will be disabled automatically.

    Step #3: Turn ON Wifi.

    Step #4. Return to Messages and ignition iMessage.

    Step #5. You will be prompted for your Apple ID if you have not yet added it. (otherwise, you get no notification)

    Step #6. Now, go back to the settings and disable airplane mode.

    Step #7. For the most part, you will see a notification that says "your carrier may charge for SMS" - press OK

    Step #8. If this is not the case, go to Messages, disable iMessage and then turn on again.

    Step #9. In a few moments, iMessage should be enabled.

    Step #10. You will see a greyed number and e-mail ID. A little later, the number should be checked, and that's all.


    3 Apple ID disconnect, connect

    Sometimes, you just need to logout of your identifier Apple and then sign in again.

    Step #1. Under Settings → Message, scroll up to where it says 'Send and receive'and tap on it.

    Step #2. Type on the Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.

    Step #3. Now turn off iMessage.

    Step #4. Wait for a while (toggle Wifi) and then turn on the iMessage.

    Step #5. Enter the details of your Apple ID now and try to reactivate iMessage

    4. set or restore

    If things do not work, you must first reset the settings of your location, then the iPhone. Reset is just a force so restart your data stays secure. After the reset, you will just connect with your Apple and implementing iMessage like new.

    If this fails, you may need to restore the iPhone as new or from a backup.

    I have a brand new iPod touch 6th generation. When I FaceTime, I don't see who I am talk - have just a black screen. But they can see me. And we hear the other just 9.3 fine.ios

  • With FaceTime on the (4th gen) iPad slow after iOS 9.1 update

    Hello

    People I called on Facetime on my iPad (4th gen) told me that I seem to be slow when I call them.  This happened after I upgraded my iOS to 9.1 (B 13, 143), and there is no more updates available for my iPad so I can't fix this "bug".

    I am convinced that it is a "bug" that I see the person I call clearly and smoothly, even if they can't see me gently.  I then unplug my call and then call the person using once again to start Facetime on my iPhone 5 (with the same version of iOS - 9.1 (B 13, 143)) using exactly the same wifi connection in the same place.  The person I call then confirms that he or she can see me clearly and smoothly.

    It is a problem, I need to resolve ASAP because I use Facetime for my meetings and it can be difficult to use my iPhone for long periods of time.

    I tested this question several times over several weeks - the problem remains still and I need this problem.  I can not connect a call without having to pay for an incident - and I think that it's a software problem and not a problem for the end user.

    Someone of another encounter the same problem and if someone has solved this problem?  Thank you.

    Update iOS 9.2 seems to have solved this problem, even if nothing in the report of the correction of a bug that appear to be associated with FaceTime.

  • Missing FaceTime on iPhone SE after update to IOS 9.3.2

    I updated my iPhone, but my FaceTime disappeared... I checked in the settings including under restrictions where the FaceTime icon appears at all either, but also the restrictions is defined as OFF.

    I have synced my iTunes as well as iCloud account, and I deleted all content and settings, but still without a bit of luck.

    Can you guide me on how I can get my FaceTime on my iPhone?  I'm afraid to update my iPad as the FaceTime is my relationship with my family abroad.

    Assuming you had indeed FaceTime in the phone when you buy and set up, have you upgraded in a country where the FaceTime is restricted?

    Same thing here. FaceTime works fine on my iPhone but it crashes every time on my iPad. I continued to see updates of difficulty cellular stability, kept hoping Apple should fix this but it's getting downright tedious!

    Under settings > general > about, what is your model? Not the serial number. Just the model. I just want to eliminate any behavior expected right off the bat as a function where the iPhone was original sold, it can have that feature turned off at all times in accordance with the requirements of this country.

    Normally these are the settings < iMessage > blocked. Then you choose a person in your contacts to block. The problem with this is how can you put an unknown person in your Contacts?

  • IOS 10.02: Phone/contact App suspended for a few seconds

    I'll have a problem in which whenever I go through contacts in the phone app or change any contact then iphone more 6s will hang for 2-3 seconds. I have IOS 10.0.2 will fix this problem but its not yet solved. My observation is that every time the application attempts to fetch/update of data in icloud then I'm having this problem.

    Thank you for using communities Support from Apple.  From your post, I understand that your phone app seems to become temporarily unresponsive when you edit your contacts. I'd be happy to help you!

    I have some troubleshooting I want to recommend. Before you begin, please create a backup of your iPhone, by following the steps described here: How to back up your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch

    Once your backup has been created, try the following steps, in order. Test after each step completed, stopping when the problem is resolved.

    1. Force to close the phone application, then restart it and return to the Contacts section. You can find a way to force close apps here: force a nearby app on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch
    2. Restart the iPhone, as detailed here: restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch
    3. Restore iPhone to factory settings, following this article: use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to factory settings

      Once the restore is complete, configure the iPhone as a new device (i.e. without using your backup, at least temporarily). You can register in iCloud iMessage, FaceTime and iTunes and the App Store using your Apple ID.

      If adding contacts does not cause the application to phone to become unresponsive, you can restore your backup by following the steps described here: restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup
