Factory reset for CP-9971 (not 7791)

I have a lot of phones 6945 cp and cp-9971.

Launching of # at the start and then typing 123456789 * 0 # method works for cp-6945 but not for the cp-9971.

There is a CP-9971 phone, which works very well but his split two display, so nothing can be read, or video cannot be seen properly.

I tried all sorts of Reset on menu administrator (device, all, security). It is always divided in two and the left part of it has a light background and no buttons on the screen, right part works correctly.

is there a reset process material for this model (cp-9971, not the popular 7791)?

Nothing beats the #123... for 9971 s. The remains, you tried are the only ones available.

How can I make a real factory reset on an OfficeJet K60? I chose the option of this name from the LCD, but I can still print to the event log with a list of numbers dialed and received, along the speed dial list. Not the kind of thing you'd expect to see in a device you just plant.

    Hi Craig,.

I'm glad that solved your problem!

The reason why I didn't after resetting publicly, it is that it does not apply to all situations of troubleshooting. Resets are the last step after an exhausting standard troubleshooting. If the reset doesn't fix the problem, this usually indicates a hardware problem.

Reset instructions can have unexpected results if not used properly. These steps are reserved for situations of 'last resort '. Detachment is publicly could owners their products in a complete reset reset is not necessary.

Finally, as with any reset, power cycle returns the default printer and clears the saved settings, it would not be advisable to proceed with this step, immediately.

  • Factory reset for Windows 7 will restore my BIOS too to its original state when I bought it?

I now use Windows 8, I bought my laptop in JULY 2012. It came with Windows Home Premium and I have the recovery disc for Windows 7. I intend to factory reset my laptop because of my disappointment with Windows 8 and supprt for Windows 8.

I want to know if the "factory Reset" will restore the BIOS of the laptop in its original state. I mean I have my BIOS set to update to the latest. I want to return to its former State. How long is the factory reset also takes? I own edition HP DV6T Quad 7000 with 32 GB WSSD.

Intel RST does not have anything, my HARD drive is shown in non-RAID and there is no way I can change it to RAID. My last option is to try the Factory Reset and see if it helps. I'm sure that TSRI will work if my BIOS is restored to the original condition with everything so it starts to detect my HDD in RAID.

    Hello

A factory image recovery will not affect the version of BIOS or current settings. The duration during which the factory image recovery takes wil depend on what type of recovery media that you have. If you have a usb recovery media that it will probably wait maybe thiry minutes. Use you a recovery value disk while recovery might take a few hours to complete.

Once you start the recovery not to touch the keyboard.

Make sure that the wireless is turned on before commit you to the recovery.

    Best regards

  • Factory Reset for ACER Iconia W3 opportunity

Bought an ACER Iconia W3 used by someone who inherited it and who knows little/nothing about this. The supplied password does not work, and I need help do a password reset or factory reset. Don't know what should have delivered with this point if she was new, but I only have Windows 8 loaded shelf. I bought a micro USB adapter so I can attach a flash drive, but following the instructions of the wizard to reset, an error occurs. Any help will be very appreciated!  ~ BRitz

    (a) are you talking about a BIOS password or Windows password?

    (b) you have the possibility to use the recovery provided with the W3 DVDs when new?

If a Windows password, just reinstall everything from the DVD. If a BIOS password try really, really hard to find what is something else he must go to Acer repair center.

If you do not have the DVD and it's just a Windows password, you can order a replacement of http://store.acer.com/store/aceramer/en_US/eRecovery (If select another country in store.acer.com, then eRecovery).

  • HP Photosmart C4780: Factory Reset for HP Photosmart C4780

I recently started using a new wireless router after a move, and I'm able to get my computer and my printer on the same network.

I tried to figure out how to change the network that connects the printer, but I was completely failed. I did a lot of searching around, and nothing seems to work. For what it's worth, I had all the last printer and driver software with the software update feature on my Mac. I am also able to connect to the printer and print using a USB cable. But I'm completely unable to access all the settings of the printer that would allow me to move the printer to the same network as the computer. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

I think that if I could get the printer to do a factory reset or a hard reset, that might be a better place to start. I think that the printer has some memory kept the old wireless network, because this network name appears on one of these pages, you can print troubleshooting. But if the printer didn't remember any wireless network, then it might be easier to implement on the new wireless network. Unfortunately, I can't find any information on how to do a factory zero either, so if anyone knows how to do, please also let me know.

    Hi @rumsmuggler

Forgive me for the delay in my response.

It's strange, that it must continue to blink and only go solid once your computer is connected to the network printers.

It could be the wireless radio no longer works properly, I will send you a different reset in a private message, please check the little envelope on the upper right of the forums page to check your Inbox of Forums.

Then you can try the steps again.

Please let me know if these steps solved your problem, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

I look forward to hear from you!

    Thank you

  • My PC does not load, I need to do a factory reset, but I can not even enter the Mode without fail because of BOOTMGR is missing. Windows 7

I'm at the stage where I should be able to load Windows. I don't care if I lose all my files etc.

I hope someone can get to safe mode or some kind of reset where I can start everything again.

    I use windows 7

    Procedure A:

    Turn on PC

    Wait,

    Motherboard ASUS screen, (ignored)

Black screen with message: BOOTMGR is missing.   Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to restart.

    Steps in scenario b:
    Turn on PC,

There is a screen of ASUS motherboard for less than one second,

I can press F8 or del to enter this menu.

That shows a menu, please select boot device:

    -SATA: ST30...

    -SATA: ST31...

    -Access configuration

Choose any SATA translates BOOTMGR is missing.

Enter the configuration doesn't have a lot of options and I can't access safe mode.

So I'm all out of options.

I want to do a factory reset or similar.  Please help ASAP

There's probably a way to initialize the factory restore, but it varies depending on the brand.  Let us know the brand of your computer and that we are able to help you.

On a computer Dell, for example, by pressing F11 at startup Initializes the factory restore.

That doesn't look good... a couple hours but goes on five hours is something serious goes wrong. Maybe you should order the HP factory recovery disc and try again. I think that something has gone wrong here.

HP computers - get HP recovery disks or HP USB recovery disc
Read this before ordering your recovery discs! (United States and Canada only)
HP computers - performing a recovery of HP (Windows 8) system

  • How to store Adobe applications through a factory reset?

Hello, I want to restore all my files on my computer. But how to hold my adobe photoshop [12 items] and first applications, (which I bought the dvd), through a factory reset on my computer.

Is it possible to retrieve the adobe programs after that that they have been removed (thorugh factory reset). Since you cannot use the same access key (for the program) more than once, I believe.

P.S. I have not done the factory reset for the moment.

I just learned that it is possible to reuse the same number series, but thanks

  • How can I make a my Flipout factory reset?

Hey everyone, I was wondering how do a complete reset of my phone Flipout? I downloaded an update supposed (it was announced earlier today) Motorola, but I think that its actually regressed my phone software and I lost many of my apps, so I would go back to square one if possible.

    settings-> privacy-> factory reset

This will not remove the update, but will make the phone as it is out of the box - you need to redo the installation.

Remember that if you use the same MotoBlur account to set up the phone, it will pull the MotoBlur server settings (if your phone has MotoBlur - some international phones are not).

  • Have I not correct recovery DVD for a factory reset?

    Hello

    My laptop is a ProBook s 4540

When I bought it, it came with 4 DVDs:

    • Application and Driver Recovery DVD (windows 7)
    • Operating system DVD Windows 7 Professional SP1
    • Application and Driver Recovery DVD (windows 8)
    • Operating system Windows 8 Pro DVD

At some point I want to Factory Reset my laptop and I wonder if this dvd is to do it since I do not have the recovery with the recovery discs manager.

Have I not correct recovery DVD for a factory reset?

    Hello

Even better. Factory reset will bring more information, including the bloatware. Two sets of DVD (for Windows 7 and Windows 8) are the BEST companions. You will get your machine under control and you can download other software also under control.

We all love having two RST for each operating system.

    Kind regards.

  • [Cisco FAQ] - My D9854 / D9858 does not allow me to do a factory reset, it asks for a password.

Where can I find the password?

To do a factory reset on the IRD, the locking level must be set to 0, if it is not level 0 then you will need change the lock level.

To change the lock level configuration, Admin and arrow on password. Enter the password, no assigned unit is 1234, it is a unit of ATP 8390.

If none of these work, this means that your service provider has the locked unit and you must contact the service provider.

Once you have entered the correct password, you can go and then select the level of blocking and change to zero. Once the locking level is zero, you can then go into the menu and select factory reset, this will put the unit to the factory settings.
