Failed application incd.exe

I am trying to reinstall Apple iTunes and received the following message - application incd.exe, version 0.0.0.0, Faulting failed module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault 0x009d214d address.
& #x000a - I have all the Microsoft Updates installed, download and run MSFixit but still no luck - please help.

The application failed, incd.exe, is a software component that may have been installed with writing Nero InCD packet.

Can you try uninstalling InCD and see if the problem resolves.

I got the same error as yours in the event logs. Disable Performance monitoring in memory access Mode will solve this problem. (on the performance tab, a search on the "Monitor in memory access Mode" link) I literally spent several hours on this, try everything, including the authorization of change ntdll.dll, replace it with the same file from a working db server. That's a few hours of my life can resume... Good luck!!!

    Hi Argo624,

Welcome to Microsoft Vista Forum community!

Please answer the following questions to help you better on this issue.

    (a) what is the version on Vista installed on your computer?

    (b) you get any error message?

You can visit the manufacturer's Web site and check if the game is compatible with Vista.

If it is not compatible, then you can try to run the game in windows xp sp2 to Windows Vista compatibility mode

To manually set the properties of a program compatibility:

1 right click on the program icon on your desktop or the shortcut in the start menu for the program to run, and then click Properties.

    2. click on the Compatibility tab and change the settings for compatibility for your program

  • Acrobat XI fails to start-> failed application Acrobat.exe Faulting Module: amtlib.dll

I get the below error whenever I try to start Acrobat Standard XI on the customer's PC.

I tried to do a clean install (using the acrobat cleaning tool and cleaning of all traces of adobe products) and I still get this error. The EULA is displayed the first time I try to load Acrobat after that a new installation and I accept it then this error occurs immediately.

I have also tried installing Adobe Application Manager, update both 11.0.6 and 11.0.7 delete cache.db, System Restore and every other difficulty that I found via Adobe communities.

After a while, I get an error that appears "Acrobat could not connect to a DDE server.

Firewall and antivirus are disabled when this error occurs.

I could install and use Acrobat Pro XI without problem successfully.

Customer is impatient and I am out of options. I couldn't find a number of support for assistance.

The failing application name: Acrobat.exe, version: 11.0.7.79, time stamp: 0x536b812b

Name of the failed module: amtlib.dll, version: 6.2.0.46, time stamp: 0x528478ca

    Exception code: 0xc0000417

    Offset: 0x0013d1e9

ID of the process failed: 0x11b4

Start time of application vulnerabilities: 0x01cfb76e5193cef1

    The failing application path: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe

    Path of the failing module: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat\amtlib.dll

    Report ID: 9086cc3f-2361-11e4-a448-f8bc127dc970

Solved the problem on my end!

    Go to c:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore

Set your settings to show the hidden files and folders. If you see one. LIC files in there, rename them (before deleting).

Then again Adobe and see if it works!

If it works, then return to this folder and you should see a newly created. LIC file. Remove the old files and you should be good!

So happy that I had to figure this on my own, lost 2 days of work on Adobe. This question is certainly due to the problem with their problem of Acrobat Standard Server license yesterday, I'm positive of it.

    Hi ashnov,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?
