'Failed to initialize' Adobe Flash Player problem

I am running XP Pro SP3 on a Dell Dimension 4550 desktop computer, I can't get Adobe flash player install and cannot view a video in one of the browsers. I tried the usual steps, download Flash player uninstaller, uninstall, delete all the files from the folder FLASH e.t.c and does not work, is there another option for watching youtube videos please?

The file size is 0 bytes and so the file is corrupted or not download at all.  Malware, firewall or some other DOWNLOAD problem is the problem.

I noticed Vista and 7 extreme issues with download of corruption where it says the file is downloaded, and it does not at all SPECIAL. ZIP and EXE files.

Only happens on systems with AMD instead of processor INTEL and on Vista/7/8

NOT happen on the same machine with XP.

Go to another machine and download the full file almost 100 megs a flash drive and then extract.

    • I don't have any version of Adobe Flash Player currently installed on my computer.

When I try to download the flash player, the file goes to my downloads.  When I click on download, it will open the file using MatLab.  What can I do to solve this problem, then the file will go to the downloader?

I solved the problem by using Google Chrome to download the file instead of Safari.

  • failed to download adobe Flash Player 10.1

I tried to download adobe Flash Player 10.1 several times at the wire and ended up with the google toolbar.

I have Windows XP Home Edition SP3 and a Dell Computer Intel (R) Pentium (R) 4 CPU 2.80 GHz

69,92 GB of free primary system disk space. What should I do?

Note: There is a check box for any add-in (for example the Google toolbar) that PEUT be disabled when downloading and/or installing Flash® to keep them out of your system!  In addition, these supplements can be uninstalled using the Control Panel Add / Remove Programs .

For some reason, Windows Messenger was all or part of the Flash® Player open.
What you had to do was exit windows Messenger.  (Right-click on the icon of)
the task bar and click on 'Quit') you devriez also closed all browsers
(by example, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari, etc.).

Download uninstaller and installer of flash, a folder or on your desktop.

Once you have installed Flash Player, go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
to test the Flash®.  The latest version is 11.2.202.228 at the moment.

Changes: Adobe has changed the Flash® Player and now, there are essentially four versions.  There are 32-bit versions and 64-bit for the ActiveX (for Internet Explorer (IE) and the plug-in version (for Mozilla, Opera, etc.).  If you use a 64-bit browser, you must install the Flash® Player 64-bit.  Note that the 64-bit Flash® installation program will install the software 32 bit If it finds a 32-bit browser installed as well.  In addition, if you use IE and browsers based plugin, you need to install the ActiveX and plugin versions of Flash® Player.  Links to Flash® installers and UN-installers course changed as their file names now consider their "bittedness".

    Go-->here<- to="" download="" the="">current 32-bit plugin Flash® Player

In addition, it never hurts Uninstall Flash® before installing a new version.

  • Why my installation Fail of Adobe Flash Player on my Macbook Pro?

Adobe Flash Player_17au_ta installation fails on my Macbook Pro OS 10.8.5

I followed all the steps of "Flash Player Help / installation issues «Mac OS"»

    ars_heading_10 https://helpx.adobe.com/Flash-Player/KB/installation-Problems-Flash-Player-RVM.html#main-p

I ran with success the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller. And I still get this message (in the installation of window 3 3) "Adobe Flash could not be installed".  I did a reboot after uninstall it before running the installation of version 17 again (Firefox and all the closed software)

    My browser is Firefox 37.0.2

FYI I have Flash CS6 v.12.0.2.529 installed on this computer, I removed the Flash Player in the folder.

According to the instructions, I set the preferences of Adobe to allow Adobe install updates and closed Firefox (and closed all programs) to uninstall and install.

It worked! I had done everything before that and had just abandoned. Thank you!

  • Problem installing Adobe Flash Player for Mac Air (Yosemite)

I got a message saying that my Adobe Flash Player is out of date. This seemed strange because I had been to access the videos of the previous hour without any problems. I went ahead and opened the Mac version download of the Adobe site setup. Installation began, and after the entry of a password to Admin, the download has reached 25% almost immediately. Unfortunately, it's been blocked 25% since then. I tried to do it again, removing the download and the re - download the update without success. I've also temporarily disabled my AdBlock and AdBlock Plus. I tried to uninstall AFP so I could start again, but the box that is supposed to tell me what version of uninstaller for download has error message says I need to update AFP.

    How can I fix?

Edit: I thought I was downloading an AFP for an earlier operating system (I'm under 10.10.2). I made sure to download the latest version of the AFP for Mac possible. The installation is now stuck at 30%. (Just to be clear, I downloaded the package without problem - the problem is with the installation of the program itself stopping at 30 %.))

Edit 2: I figured out that uninstall the package that I needed (using this page: Uninstall Flash Player |) Mac OS) but after reinstallation AFP, he is still stuck at 25% of download.

Edit 3: The message "failed to connect. Trying to reconnect"appeared, quickly followed by"the connection failed ". Guess I'll try again.

    Please use the Offline Installer:

You have probably installed a 64 bit version of Flash for Firefox plugin.

Firefox is a 332-bit application, so you need 32-bit versions of a plugin to make it work.

You can find the 32-bit version of the Flash Player installer for a 32-bit version of Firefox here (scroll down to Flash Player (32-bit)):

  • Unable to connect to a site web - says Adobe Flash Player and JavaScript problem

For more than a year, my daughter was able to use the Web site for children for the lively game. Ago about a week after it has loaded the site and clicked on "Let's play", instead of check-in at the login screen, she received the following message - "to view this content, you must activate JavaScript and you need the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. I found this confusing, because we all software up to date. But, just in case where I did everything he said... still no results. I then contacted the web site support and they recommended I uninstall Adobe software and reinstall it. They sent me specific links from Firefox to do. Always without success. I don't know if some updates have taken place in the last week that may have caused this problem with the web site, but it's very frustrating for us. In addition, we are able to connect (as we used to be able to) on IE, but we love Firefox - Please HELP! One last thing, I am also unable to open web site to my work computer, which also uses Firefox. I'm a fool to the computer, so I would need instruction step by step... Thank you!!!

  • How do resolve you this error message that keep popping up - "Adobe Flash Player Update Service 11.3 r300 has encountered a problem and needs to close".

I uninstalled Adobe Flash Player and reinstalled and still receive the message.  Any suggestions?

In the forum of Support Adobe their Chris Campbell has announced that they are aware of the problem and are working on it.  As an interim solution, he suggests to change the automatic update to "notify me" when updates are available.  Go to the control panel.  Right-click on the Flash drive.  Click Open.  Click the Advanced tab.  Select the second option "notify me".  I made this change in a few hours and so far no errors arise.  Since they are working on it, I guess that they will release an update to fix the update service!
