  • I can't install Windows Mobile Device Center

I had a lot of trouble with my Sprint HTC Mogul synchronization with my computer which is Vista (32).  Windows Mobile Device Center has been not to recognize my phone when I plugged it up (USB work).  He used to work in the past, so I uninstalled WMDC and tried to reinstall it and now I have nothing.  Now, I'm learning (always after I make a mistake) that WMDC is an integral part of Vista.  How can I reinstall vista components?  A secondary issue, I tried to install WMDC directly from the CD that came with my phone and it says I need Adobe Flash 8.0 or higher.  I have Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X(which I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times).  Whenever I connect my phone to the computer what he claims to have correctly installed the driver software, but when I look in programs of this isn't there!

I need to back WMDC on my computer until I can solve the problem of synchronization.  Help!

Problems with the iphone 4 who it says in itunes that "Apple Mobile Device Driver not found" and nothing happens when it is connected to the USB port on charge even not. Running Windows XP 32-bit with Service Pack 3. but think I deleted all the drivers mobile when I uninstalled my Blackberry and removed the current mobile device drivers. Apple went through just fine and everything is OK it is a problem of PC and XP. Microsoft help put me on this site because need to know how to solve this problem I hope that somewhere there are mobile device drivers that work with the iphone? Site Internet de Microsft has 5 mobile device for Windows 7 drivers, but not for XP. Need help!

Apple went through just fine and everything is OK it is a problem of PC and XP.

Evasive classic.  It's always the problem of the other guy.

And the classic response of some evil-educated person "technical support":

Microsoft help put me on this site

If the error message says 'Mobile Apple Device not found Driver' then it's an Apple problem, pure and simple.  The device driver mobile for the iPhone comes from Apple, not Microsoft.

Do you remember what you were doing when you "deleted all the drivers mobile when I uninstalled my Blackberry and removed the current mobile device drivers?"

Probably not... and you have not explained what has been included in "Apple went through everything."  It is time to start over by removing everything related to Apple and then put it back correctly.

First, however, the fact that the iPhone does not load even when connected to a USB port is a bit worrying.  Works in everything else in this USB port (for example, a USB flash drive)?

Have you tried all the USB ports on your computer?  Take a look in the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK) and see if there are any icons showing warning.  If so, double-click on the entry and information "device status".

Take a look at the event viewer (start > run > eventvwr > OK).  There is no need to go far.  Connect your iPhone, then look at the newspapers (System and Application) for since a few minutes see if there are any errors or warnings.  If so, double-click on it to get the event properties window, and then click the "Copy" icon (just below of the)

Have you tried to recharge the iPhone using the adapter connected to Apple's USB cable?  Does it work?

Have you tried to connect the iPhone to another computer?  With what results?

Assuming that the hardware (iPhone, USB cable, and USB ports on your computer) is not working properly, see the following topics.

To perform a "clean" iTunes installation uses this technique proposed, from Support of Apple HT1926 article.

Warning: uninstall utility for cleaning Windows mentioned in the instructions below has been removed from Microsoft download servers because sometimes it seems more removed he was supposed to (I think that this phenomenon was linked to the bureau uninstalls).  You can still get utility Windows Installer Cleanup--> http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html here is a free alternative Revo Uninstaller. Before using these cleaning products, you must create a restore point from the system first (or back up the registry with C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT).  See http://windowsxp.mvps.org/registry.htm a complete disk image would be safer if you have this ability.

Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
    Remove these applications:
    1 Apple Software Update
    2. Apple Mobile Device Support
    3 Hello
4 iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)
    5 iTunes
    6 QuickTime

Open my computer > C: > Program Files
    Delete this files (if present)
    1 iPod
    2 iTunes

    Empty your temp directory:
Open my computer > C: > Documents & Settings > username > Local Settings and delete the contents of the folder called "Temp".

If you don't see the local settings, enable hidden files:
Tools > Folder Options > view tab

Once this file is empty, restart the computer

  • Option 'search automatically' upgrade of Windows 7 device driver fails immediately

I guess I'm really test the features of Windows 7 that I'm running it on a desktop PC's old, slow, and my access (due to overfishing) Internet was cut up to 64 Kbps (8bKps)!

(And it's fast!  Time to shut-down/re-start is incredibly faster than XP even.)

Having said that I did several times with Windows XP and Vista, I install Windows, and then plug a USB Wi - Fi dongle and access the Internet through that.  I then right-click on my other devices/Ethernet Controller (of which a driver has not automatically been installed) and select software update of the driver...  It worked without problem - on XP and Vista.

I did the same with Win7 RC today and am surfing the Internet without problem (if a little slow).  However, the option "Automatically search for an updated driver" takes but ½ second to respond with an error "Windows cannot find driver software for your device".  It does not seem able to verify the (entirely functional, but slow) Internet at all.

The previous screen said, "Windows will search your computer and the Internet for the latest version of the software driver for your device, UNLESS YOU have DISABLED THIS FEATURE IN the SETTINGS of INSTALLATION of YOUR UNIT."    This is a new installation, and I did not knowingly put such an option (with XP there was once a choice 'always check Internet Internet/check this time only').

It's a matter of waiting period (half a second? or another bug of pre - release?)

Until someone said, yes I could download the drivers on the C: drive and point the app update driver there, but it is not the purpose of this; also some people may use Win7 dial-up modem access... ;-)

    Thank you!

    See you soon,.

  • Install Windows Mobile Device Center fails on Win7 64 bit

    Hello world

I'm trying to install/reinstall WMDC 64 bit on Win7 (64 bit). In the last step of the installation, it tries to add a new device. I can see in the Device Manager. But the installation of this device fails, and then the new device is removed. The WMDC is here, but it does not work and bluetooth devices do not offer the service "ActiveSync".

    Can anyone help here please?

    Thank you and best regards,

    Franz

    Hi Srimadhwa,

Thanks again. It's corrected now. I think the problem was with the handheld device. He needed that he must accept the USB for ActiveSync connections. :-/

So the major issue is fixed now, but I wouldn't mind not any progress with other minor issues.

    Thank you and best regards,

I reinstalled Ovi store and Nokia Ovi Player more than once.  Whenever I connect the phone to my computer, it came with the message THAT PSG has failed. • After a clean install of Windows Vista, Intel Wifi card is installed and activated, but does not detect the network.

Wireless card not working after a clean install of Windows Vista

I did a clean install of Windows Vista Home Premium on my HP Pavilion of 32 bits. I've completely updated Windows via Service Pack 2. Given that the clean install, my wireless card, Intel (r) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN, was not able to detect all the networks. The Wifi card is listed under NICs as being installed and activated. the hardware on my laptop Wifi switch is set on "on" and the light is blue, indicating that the card is working.

I can connect to the internet if I connect physically my computer to the modem with an ethernet cable wireless, so the modem isn't the problem. Other computers can connect to the wireless modem, so my Wifi modem functionality is not the problem. The problem with my computer.

I tried to uninstall the Intel driver and reboot my computer with the generic driver. Install the driver generic, but my wireless card has not always worked. I then ran an update of windows, nothing helps.

I tried to install the "Intel® PRO /? Wireless and WiFi Link"drivers for Windows Vista (32-bit 13.1.1.1 the latest version and the previous version 12.4.4.5 32-bit) for the Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN directly from the Intel Web site at http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Wireless+Networking&ProductLine=Intel%C2%AE+WiFi+Products&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Wireless+WiFi+Link+4965AGN. The map didn't always work with a driver.

In addition to the pilots, I also downloaded a tool of diagnosis of Intel (Intel® PROSet /?) Utility of WiFi wireless connection for Windows Vista 32 -? Bit). Said diagnostic tool the WiFi card is not installed or enabled, however, Device Manager maintains that he is also installed and active.

Is there a problem that causes Device Manager to say that all is well with the card, but does not map to realize that they diminish the radio signals? Everything's fine, diagnostic, it just does not detect networks around him. Help, please.

    Hello

    The on/off switch actually works?

Since it is an internal adapter to ensure it is enabled in the settings of configuration/F2 (BIOS/CMOS) often like you
Start - so look at the screen.

Have you tried the computer on other WiFi networks? You had a WiFi type problem before the

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
