Failed to start properly

Adobe Reader DC Gets an error message when opening pdf files. "The Application could not start properly (0xc00000a5). Click OK to close the application"click on OK allows the file to be open normally, but I still cannot save the file.  I uninstalled Adobe Reader DC with the tool fixit restarted and reinstalled several times, but still get the same error. I use a 64-bit Windows 7 computer.

This phenomenon happens with Adobe Acrobat only?

Try to open the other application and see if they work fine.

Could you please post compatibility settings tab?

Open shortcut Acrobat > right click > properties > Compatibility tab > check if its running in compatibility mode.
