Failed to update security for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 (KB951338) - 80070643 error code
This update will fail all the time - I tried one of the solution offered by Windows (repair corrupted .NET framework using Microsoft Fix it 50123) but it changed nothing.
That's why he keeps asking to install the update and even if I did not, when I want to turn my laptop, it forces me to install it-sense, I can't use my turn off button to just go to sleep. Quite boring...
The real problem, in my view, is that I don't have Office PowerPoint 2007... I recently installed Office 2010...
How can I get rid of this update or get Windows update to understand that I don't have Office 2007?
Thanks a lot for helping me on this case.
Try this FixIt (Microsoft Fix it 50473)
You receive error code 80070643 0 x or 0 x 643 , error code when you use the Windows Update or Microsoft Update Web sites to install updates

Hello
Here's what I recommend you do:
1. disable UAC (do this if you are using Vista or Windows 7, otherwise, go to step # 2). Comes down
restrictions - turn it off completely.
2 restart your computer for the change to take effect.
3 re - download the update of security for Microsoft Office System 2007 (KB982331) from the link below:
http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7f89a734-cda4-4abb-9a10-f6dfe560e8d0&displaylang=en
4. install. It should work fine.
5. If it still does not work, try to open all or part of your MS Office applications (such as MS Word, MS Excel, etc.).
6. follow steps 3-4.
7. If it still does not work, follow step # 3 again. After you download it, try unplugging your computer fromInternet (unplug the internet cable or turn off the modem). Then, try to install the downloaded file
(KB982331). It should work this time.
Do the same for all the updates that come with KB982331, IF ANY.

Failed to update security for Microsoft Office 2003 (KB2584052)
I have six updates to security for Microsoft Office 2003 that is (KB2584052) and they always fail.
Any advice?
Hi SteveGjorkes,
· Do you receive an error message/code?
· Did you do changes on the computer before the show?
· You are able to install some other updates without any problems?
Before windows updates, follow these methods.
Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Method 2: Restart the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Update of security for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 (KB2464594)
Tried earlier updates for 5 times, but all failed. Anyone aware of the problem of the object? Much obliged for your help
If you did an upgrade to Office 2007 to 2010 then you are stuck with a left-over from the 2007 version which is called "Microsoft Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies"
You can uninstall it using this command:
MsiExec.exe /X {50120000-1105-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}
After that - another "search for updates" and see if it is gone...
