Fails to start and restarts

Hello world

I am brand new MacBook and OS. Only last week under PC to OS so everything I do are new to me.

I have a MacBook Pro retina 15 ". He seems to have a small problem and as I am not familiar with the forum of discussion here I want to post a message.

Here is what happens...

MacBook starts and windows login shows...

I connect...

Starting continues for 2 to 4 seconds and then the screen goes black all of a sudden...

A message will display only computer must be restarted, I can connect to a new, then it will all impeccably.

I read on some kernel panic and so. What can I do to fix this? Or may immediately report the problem to Apple?

Two points:

1. in my opinion and that of many others of us here, McAfee is one of
the poorest choice of security these days software here. I strongly
recommend you take and replace with eSet NOD32 or
Kaspersky, if you are willing to pay for it. If you want a free
antivirus, I recommend one (do not run more than one antivirus
program) of three of the following:

Avira AntiVir
Avast
Microsoft Security Essentials

You also need anti-spyware software (even if you run a program such as)
Microsoft Security Essentials, with integrated anti-spyware capability

AntiMalware
2 Microsoft isn't selling McAfee with new computers. Microsoft
is not even do or do not sell computers. If your computer comes with
McAfee, it's because the manufacturer of your computer (Dell, HP,
Gateway, or anyone else) has chosen to sell like that.

• Computer starts and restarts in an infinite loop at startup.

Received this e-mail from Comcast around 2 April 2013 stating my computer may have a 'bot '. This function constant guard of Comcast. On 5 April, my computer started this start and restart * in an infinite loop. I took the computer manufacturer and all wiped out settings. Comcast removed free Norton antivirus and replaced by Webroot. When the infinite loop finally stops, I just leave the computer on and log off because if I stop, it will begin to restart in an endless loop. I used MicroSoft's analysis and Webroot finds no Malware since I restored it to the constructor parameter. I don't understand??? It does only as long as my wireless light on my laptop. If I boot my computer and disable immediately any connection to the internet, there are no endless loop. I get the desktop to the top and turn on the wireless on my laptop and the computer begins to restart. My daughter uses her Tablet without any problem the same modem wireless. I always get this duplication of constant guard of Comcast email. I sent email them back and ask them if they are sent, and if it was a fake, and their response was like they didn't know what I was asking. Knuckleheads! I am lucky to be online now. He ran into an infinite loop, start and restart hours today. Help!

Hi Michell,

1. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?
2. What do you mean by "I have always received this e-mail from duplication of constant guard of Comcast?

Method 1: I suggest to disable automatic reboot and then check if the problem persists.

(Including safe mode) advanced startup options (disable automatic reboot system error)

Method 2: I would say too you will observer event logs to check what is causing the problem.

Open event viewer

What are the information contained in the logs of the event (Event Viewer)? http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/what-information-appears-in-event-logs-event-viewer

Post us the results once you try the steps above.

Installation of Windows, but my computer continues to close and restart. In addition, my wireless modem is not recognized and the resolution of the screen is distorted. Hello

Given that you have reinstalled Windows the problem is material (almost 100%) or BIOS,
of low level, or other great drivers chipset drivers.

Check with a real computer store (one that makes its own service internal and not of leeks)
and displays a Best Buy or other stores) or system manufacturer support. Also

My dsktop icons keep disappearing at startup and a reboot on my computer and close any windows program, that I opened after a minute and the lower tab also disappear and the Task Manager does not open any help

Hello

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forums.

Description of the question, I understand that when you start taskbar and the desktop icons disappear.

1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

2. you remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

I suggest you follow these methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: Fix broken desktop shortcuts and common system maintenance tasks
http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/system_maintenance_for_windows/en-us

Method 2: Try to rebuild the icon cache and then check out.

a. Click Start, click Control Panel, and write in the search options for files box.
b. now, click on Folder Options to open and select folders and hidden files (dot).
c. open a Windows Explorer window.
d. go to C:\Users\(User Name) \AppData\Local
e. right click on IconCache.db and click on delete.
f. click Yes to confirm the deletion.
NOTE: This removes the file to the trash. It is safe to empty the trash when you are done.
g. close the window.
h. emptying the trash.
i. restart the computer.
j. When you come back, you will notice the size of the file IconCache.db is reduced, and the update is now the current date.
NOTE: If for some reason any IconCache.db isn't there or the size has not much changed then you can just restart the computer again. You may need to restart a few times in some cases.
k. icon cache will be rebuilt.

Method 3: In addition, run a virus scanner and check.
Searching using check and scan Microsoft security if it is an infection that causes this problem.
http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

I hope this helps.

It s 2 GHz speed and 2 GB memory.
Thank you

Hey Buddy

You slow startup and startup has nothing to do with the HARD drive space.
Your laptop could start slowly, due to a large amount of processes that run in the context of the operating system!

What you could do, is first the msconfig and disable unnecessary applications in the Startup tab.

Use some applications cleaning CCLeaner (tool free) i.e. to clean the operating system and the registry. Last but least could not defragment the HARD disk to improve performance.

See you soon

Hello

I have a Toshiba L300 Salelite, comes up with the screen saying: Windows could not start because of a recent hardware or software change might be the cause, the options are to run the Startup Repair (which freezes when selected, screen goes fuzzy), or to start windows normally, which also causes screen freeze and go blurry.

I tried to connect to an external monitor, but same thing happens.

Op system is XP, laptop computer is about 15 months.

Hey,.

If startup repair freezes too I think that Windows Setup is confusing upward and you need to reinstall the system

You have the Toshiba Recovery disk? If so, you can start to recover to factory settings. The disk will wipe the entire HARD drive and reinstalling Windows all drivers with the tools of the recovery image on the disc. Just follow the instructions on the screen, most is done automatically, should click on next sometimes all that s! :)

Hi sunelchandraoli,

1. when exactly you receive this error?

2. you remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

Step 1:

"Make sure that all the services of the dependence of the"Remote Access Connection Manager"" are launched in the list of services...

a. Click Start, type services.msc in the box start the search.

b. select Services from the list programs. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue

II. telephone

III. Plug-and-Play

IV. Remote Procedure Call (RPC)

c. of DCOM Server process Launcher

VI RPC end point mapper.

Make sure that the above services are started in the services list. If this is not the case, start all services above and check.

Step 2:

• SQLFire: Failed to start and then can not close-"Access denied" & "could not start the"sqlfire"database

I ask a question, expanding to another thread 'http://communities.vmware.com/message/1884835', on the start-up and stop SQLFire.

My topography has four servers, two locators, and two servers (Server 2 SQLFire each) on which the database is deployed. When you start the batch, without no history running, all right. Adding and removing servers in the cluster, also seems to work very well. However, when the whole of the system, its stopped by sqlf shut-down-all, it starts up, things go wrong.

I met the same problem described by the called thread, that is, it seems to be an addiction to data - which is not resolved. I start locators first, one at a time. When one starts, data dependence becomes apparent. The Locator seems to start, but the sequence goes in a loop around the data dependence. When you try to stop the same Locator, he returned in a "stopping" State, where it does not recover. Try a reboot, translated by [A SQLFire Locator works already in the directory "C:\SQLFire\Locator"]. The "stoppage of sqlf Locator", producing a further: "timeout for SQLFire Locator at the stop, the status is: SQLFire Locator pid: 4956 status: stop ' results; and the "sql shut-down-all:, throws a long error that includes:" java.io.FileNotFoundException: shut_down_all.log (access is denied) "and 'Could not start the 'sqlfire' database'. '. Both of these appear to be the crux of the matter.

I don't know what data it is dependent, because I haven't added all the data that will be persisted. However, the system starts with default records. I tried to check if these default disks are required, which seem not to be and I'm leaving for the partition and replication information, to read when the system starts / begins. I can't understand why locators cannot start without the database, without any dependence on the data, and also why the system seems to require a sequence to start. Is that not the purpose of SQLFire, i.e. a solution supporting the cross, which can be started in any sequence of old? If an operator needs to get this bad, for a production system, should be that the entire solution be recharged from external sources, and that could take awhile. It would seem, once the system in this state, i.e. the dog chasing its tail, he doesn't get, and I have to delete all the bookmarks and servers and launch all to reboot from external data sources.

I'll be dilly, or is it a problem in general, experienced by others?

I would be grateful for any comments, and if you could indicate the respective documentation, as I struggle to establish a correlation between the problems of documentation, even Google hits, when it encounters any problems with SQLFire.

I appreciate your time and efforts.

Hello

I checked the docs and they are not accurate on information in Windows when using the cmd shell. The ampersand does not work correctly when called from a shell, Cygwin, or on UNIX/POSIX systems. Will get corrected.

Please, use the start command to start in the background of a single command window / batch script:

beginning of "locator" cmd /c sqlf locator...

beginning of "server1" cmd /c sqlf server...

etc.

Add option/min to start the minimized for example windows cmd start 'locator' / min cmd /c sqlf locator beginning...

Or launch each 'start-up of the sqlf Locator', 'sqlf-start server' etc to separate windows command prompt.

Thank you

When the computer tried to restart initialization failed and I ended up after several lines of information that looked as if it might be checking drivers and then information began to look as if she might be reading the register lines. Each line has 2 numbers separated by a slash (/), who scored on a single line at the top of the screen, (white letters on black background) after a certain time the count to stop with the line of text of flickering on the same entry.

It is the line that goes to the screen when the information keeps changing.

!! 0xc01a001d! 37636/92292 (\Registry\Machine\components\winners\x86...)

Since the failure of the Windows Vista SP1 update, when the system begins to start, after a short while, he starts playing what seems like lines in the registry, and after a few moments he always stops with the same accurate information just flicker. At this point, it seems that this scenario will continue forever. The hard drive is accessible, as if trying to read something, over and above. The hard drive light flashes, instead of being on regularly, but only for a while. After that, even the flickering stops.

I have tried to start mode without failure, then after loading some files and after some time (5 or 10 seconds) the displayed files always end with the same file at the bottom of the list and what seems to be a status extend the message please know... Shortly after the screen is empty, the fails to start and the computer is restarted.

Usually what will happen is that the computer will begin to start up again, but because the previous boot failed, it asks if you want to go to startup repair, which, at first, seems to work fine, but after a little time it brings up a dialog box asking if you want to restore to the previous good Restore Point. The display will then return to the same routine he had previously, and she runs to always if not interrupted.

If you click the Cancel button, a message appears indicating that you cannot interrupt the current process, so the only way that you can try something else is to Shut Off the Power in now the switch down, permanently.

[Note: the notes above have not all accurate messages, Word for Word, exceot for the Hex error line.]

• Satellite P100: HARD drive sometimes fails to start or just not responding

I have a satellite P100 on xp professional service pack 2. Sometimes it fails to start and appears as if the hard drive just stopped responding, does not require defragmentation.

Checked all Diagnostics pass, can get it started by selecting the boot options multiple F12, HDD that appears first in the list.

Although it seems not take a long time.
Sometimes it seems to stall at the start to the top but picks up then after a few minutes and fortunately sometimes it starts without a problem.

What is data corrupted in the bios? but then why it starts ok sometimes and not others? It doesn't matter if it's hot or cold.

any ideas or help greatly received.

Hello David

It's a very strange situation, and for me there is no explanation simply. In my opinion the laptop or HARD drive, the functionality must be tested properly. Here in the forum we can speculate just what is the problem here but mobile startup must be tested with the other HARD drive pre-installed with original recovery image.

It will be interesting to know if the problem disappeared with new HARD drive. So what you can do now? If possible, try to get the second HARD drive and do the only testicles or make a call to the authorized service center and explain the situation. If the laptop is guaranteed to be valid, it will be better to check in service because they can replace free HARD drive (if the HARD disk is defective).

Sorry, but I don't see another solution. Some test with the new HARD drive can help you to understand if this happens because of the HARD drive. I don't think that the BIOS can be responsible for the issue described.
