Failure C6380 wireless printing

I have a Macbook w / OSX 10.5.  When I first set up the printer, I was able to print wireless. Now, I'm not.  He says that the printer is offline. Since then, I uninstalled a re-installed the software & drivers several times.

The printer shows the wireless is on & I put in place again to be sure, but when I try to print it says offline.

We will restore the print system:

-Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
-Right (Ctrl) click the box of the print queue and select Reset Printing System.
-Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  • LaserJet MFP M277dw Pro: Windows installs its own printer driver after failure of wireless printer, print

It is a problem really bizzare, I will try to explain as clearly as possible what happened:

    • I have 277dw LaserJet MFP Pro, which is connected to my PC via wireless network. I installed the drivers from HP and everything worked as a watch movement - printing and scanning.
    • Yesterday, the power is out for about 30 minutes. Computer stayed on thanks to UPS, but the printer power loss.
    • Once the power was restored to the printer, printer initialized and I was able to access his page of HTTP status without problems. All the parameters of the printer has persisted. Same IP address. Printer all self-tests pass. However, I have lost the ability to print (printer shows more as an option in the print dialog boxes). Scanner works as usual, save the scan to a network folder.
    • The State of device HP icon has disappeared from the taskbar.
    • A bunch of new entries titled "NPIF7BB8E (MP Color LaserJet MFP M277dw)" appears in the Device Manager. This 'new' device appears in the Device Manager 5 times under different categories of devices (see attached screenshot). In the Event Viewer, I discovered that Windows installed for this device right when the power has been restored to the printer.
    • Under control panel-> hardware and sound-> devices and printers, all devices installed by HP are grayed out and their status is not connected.
    • Restarting the computer does not resolve this issue.

Anyone have any ideas on what is happening here? It's the second time this has happened - I was able to fix the first time by reinstalling the printer drivers. However, I don't want to have to do every time the failure. This looks like a bug in Windows or the drivers.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Most likely your operating system is set to automatically install the drivers, when the lost connection the WPS driver build has been added.

Try these steps and check if that helps:

    1. In Control Panel, select network and Internet.
    2. Open the network and sharing Center.
    3. Search your active network profile, it appears just below the name of the network (for example Private Network, work network)
    4. The side pane select change advanced sharing settings.
    5. In the profile category, uncheck 'automatically enable the configuration of the connected network devices '.
    6. Click on save to confirm.
    7. Devices and printers remove any element M277 printer), as well as Device Manager (remove the two original HP or WPS item, you should see is no longer the M277.)
    8. Once select start > all Apps > HP > HP Laserjet M277 and select the shortcut to reconfigure the device, it can appear as the printer software installation & connect a new printer, etc.

    Hope that helps,

  • C6380 wireless at home not seen when I connect to the VPN from the company

I have a HP C6380 wireless printer which works fine when I'm not connected to the VPN to my company.  I have a WRT54GS of LYNKSYS router.

When I activate my VPN connection via laptop computer Windows XP, the printer's connection is lost.

    How can I fix?

You can not fix it.  It is the nature of the VPN to disconnect all devices like printer LAN (and file sharing with other computers besides).

The only recourse is to use USB directly connected between the printer and the computer when VPN.  The good news is that the printer is OK with having wireless and live USB connections at the same time.

  • HP Officejet 6600 e-all-in-one printer - H711a/H711g 'Ink system failure', will not print computer

At first, it was just a problem with do not print from the computer.  Error messages had to do with the failure of the print head or do not find print head, etc..  After going through several different controls online, download the scans, etc., it does not at all, print showing an error message "ink system failure".  I tried to remove and reinsert the 4 printheads (black 932, 933 colors) and turning market and check the caps and unplug the power.  Since this is a wireless network, I can't unplug the USB.  It was the OK signal.  Now, with this error message, I don't see the home screen printer controls.  It just says: put it on and then contact HP.  Help, please.  Very frustrated (it didn't happen all at once - a first he wouldn't print from the computer sometimes, other times.)

    Wildrat58,

If you get ink system failure and you've been through the steps that are listed in the article above the printer may require troubleshooting. You can reach support - 800-474-6836. • C6380 Wireless will not install on my laptop

I try to install the C6380 wireless - whenever I get to the printer part to find the facility, it indicates there is no printer on the network.  The priter config. page displays the correct network name.  I am using windows XP and have downloaded the patch to service.  Any susggestions?

First step is to check that your printer is on your wireless network.  Using the IP address of the printer, if you can navigate the printer web page?  If you can't, then restart the Wizard Wizard from the printer setup menu.

If you can browse the web page of the printer, you can consider uninstalling the firewall, run the SW installation and the re - install the firewall.  This ensures that the firewall is disabled.

A final element is to add a reservation your router DHCP IP addressed printer wireless.  In this way, the IP address of the printer will never change after installing the SW.

  • Billion BiPAC 7300 G with C6380 wireless issue

    Hi all

    Pulling my hair out here!

I tried to connect using the wizard of printers, but the printer could not find the wireless router.

The router is 802.11 g (not sure what that means) that I need to change a setting on the router?

    I use Vista

I had to opt for USB at the mo I need to print some documents.

Anyone know if I bought the wrong type of router?

Thank you all so much for your time reading this!

The BiPAC 7300 G should work just fine with the C6380.  Log in to the 7300G (IP address default to 192.168.1.254, username: admin, password: admin) and check that:

    1. The WLAN service is enabled
    2. Mode is set to 802. 11 b + g
    3. Hide ESSID is disabled

What is the regulatory parameters of field and channel for your wireless router?

In addition, I want to check that you do not see the 7300G's wireless-network of the C6380 wireless configuration wizard.

BTW - what is the SSID of your wireless router?

  • HP6830: Failure of the print queue

HP replaced my 6830 due to failure of the print head. New printer works proud desktop using Vista. Previuosly I could print from my laptop wireless as well, but it's time the print queue says printing, fails to print and return to errot impression. I know that thw laptop is connected to the printer thr and I even can it ping ipconfig without problem. I have been through software support, and to the low load options hear everything without any result. I am now confused.

    Hi @3391816Sablenip,.

I read your post and see that the replacement printer is wireless print on the Windows Vista-based computer, but not the laptop running Windows 7. I will definitely do my best to help you.

If you have a valid IP address for the printer, then try and access the Web built-in to the printer server.
Type the IPv4 address in the address bar of your web browser. (Internet Explorer) It to load the page.

You mentioned that you can test the printer, just to check a real contact, check the network IPv4 address on the computer to see if the first 3 sets of numbers match the IPv4 of the printer address.

Press the Windows and R key at the same time, to show the command line run, type cmd, then type Ipconfig.
    Check the IPv4 address.
Now, check the IPv4 address for the printer.
If this isn't the case, then the printer and the computer are not on the same network.

Do the first 3 sets of numbers match?

Check the address IPv4 of the computer to verify that it matches the IPv4 of the printer address.
Printers and devices, right click on the printer, on the left, click printer properties, select the Ports tab, click on Configure Port.
If they do not match and then close the window configure the Port and click on create a port and follow the instructions in the wizard.

    Type the IPv4 address.
Make sure the printer is online.

Test the printer. If creating the new port doesn't work, run the Add Printer Wizard.

If you're still having problems, download and run the print and Scan Doctor, he will diagnose the problem and could solve it automatically.

What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (she print or scan, error messages)

If the problem persists, try the following steps to see if it will be useful. HP printers - print jobs stuck in the print queue (Windows).

  • Cannot connect Windows XP to the wireless printer.

WINDOWS XP PRINTER WI - FI CONNECTION

I have Windows XP Media Center Service Pack 3 OS that worked a HP Photosmart Plus B209 a - m with a USB cable.  Since I just bought a new laptop (Windows 7 Professonal OS) I decided to create a home network with a router Cradlepoint MBR 900.  The two laptops (XP and 7 OSs) were connected to the internet via the router with no problems.  Windows 7 Pro OS laptop is connected wireless to the printer Photosmart Plus, I had implemented as confiquiration wireless the printer first.  But the failure of the attempt to get the OS Windows XP Media Center to connect to the wireless printer.  During the installation process to connect the printer to the XP system wireless it asked me to choose which printer I wanted to connect to.  The Photosmart Plus printer was selected and visible, then I clicked Next.  Shortly after, a small screen appeared stating the "serscan.sys" file could not be found and I have to insert a Windows XP Pro CD to get the file or run the installer of this file.  This issue has occurred both when I tried to install it with the CD provided by HP and when I tried installing the HP download website.  All I have is a recovery for Windows XP disk provided with the laptop and not a CD Windows XP Pro.  What should I do to fix this?  Thanks, Lonnie

Thanks, that was fast.  Please, let me make sure I have this correct.  First of all, I have two recovery disks provided with the computer, with Windows XP Media Edition and one for the drivers.  I should not use either of these disks, right?  If I had the previous correct answer then let me ask the following question;  When looking to borrow the disc should be Windows XP Media Edition or can I borrow any disk of Windows XP?  Kim Merci for your help continues.  Lonnie

    Lonnie,

Before the hunting around for friends who might have a CD, do the following research.  For each of them, make sure that you have checked the search options in the 'Advanced Options' to

    • Search system folders
    • Search for files and hidden folders
    • Search subfolders

Search your entire hard drive and both CDs you have to serscan.  Do not include the .sys at the end of the file name.

Search for Driver.cab.  Report of the Office (s).  On your hard disk, you should find one or both

    • C:\Windows\i386\Driver.cab
    • C:\Windows\Driver Cache\i386\driver.cab

You can also find these files on the "recovery disk".

Report what you find, including locations of found nothing.  It is possible (but I don't think likely) you will find a file named serscan.sy_ - If Yes, include this information in your results.

Or, if you want to ignore all this, you can download serscan.sys since my SkyDrive-->

    https://SkyDrive.live.com/redir.aspx?CID=18b259158254905b&RESID=18B259158254905B! 225 & Thierry = 18B259158254905B! 214

The file should go to C:\Windows\system32\dllcache (a hidden directory) and probably in C:\Windows\system32 (I do not use this file, if it is not in my system32 folder).

Or you can just save it to your desktop and "direct the Setup" it there (if you do this, check more later to confirm that he got into C:\Windows\system32\dllcache and if not, put a copy).

  • HP Officejet 6500 Wireless print with black ink

HP Officejet Wireless 6500 won't print with black ink. This printer as worked perfectly for years. Now, all of a sudden, he leaves by using black ink. All other colors are working very well. Any ideas?

I tried several cleanings and reset by pressing on # and 3 when turning the power on. Nothing works, but the ink levels are declining due to all the cleanings trying to get this thing to work.

    I have it!

I have searched all over the internet for a solution to this problem. Some people have the right idea, but not how to implement it.

Problem: Black ink doesn't print all colors print but not

Reason: for black print head is clogged.

    Implementation of solution:

Set 920 ink jet cartridges in cartridge print head which is held in place by small arm on the right side of the ink cartridges.

    1. remove all the ink cartridges. I didn't want them to dry, so I wrapped them in plastic wrap.

    2. lift the arm and remove the print head cartridge.

3 rinse the WHOLE print HEAD under a stream of water. I know it sounds crazy, but it will work. I thought it was best to rinse all the (not only black) because if I did not then the ink left any color would dry up and clog in any case!

    4. I leave the printhead to dry for about an hour, BUT IT DOES NOT WORK. When I handed the printhead my 6500 gave me an error message that it could not find the head of printing or something like that. I thought I ruined which was the risk I was willing to take. I went online and searched for a replacement at low prices. I immediately ordered it. But I have excluded the old printhead to dry just in case it is water which made it unnecessary.

    5. four days later I received a new printhead. Before I opened the package I tried the old an new AND IT WORKED! First, I installed the old print head cartridge, then each of the inks. After having done that, the 6500 did the rest. He went on a very long print head cleaning and alignment. He gave me the message "Please wait. Printer preparation occurring. »

    6. when the cleaning and alignment end it automatically prints a test page. It didn't look perfect the first time, but it was close. The message I got was, 'success. Alignment with success. Recycle or discard the printed page. Press Ok to continue. "The problem was that the ink cartridges were emptied of this whole process, even though they had about half of the ink when I removed them left. I changed the ink cartridges and did a cleaning and a level 2 cleaning and alignment. It worked!

    7. because I could not return the new printhead that I am now in case of failure of the print head for another reason.

I don't know how long it will take to dry print head after rinsing but I know works of 4 days. Perhaps a few days would have been sufficient. If someone does and less time please let others know here.

If you don't have success using my method, at least you know it will solve a new printhead. I paid about $35 for a new.

    Good luck!!

  • Debugging a "Wired/Wireless Printer connection.

Suddenly, I have a problem with my printer Epson WF4650 age of 1 month. My setup at home is fairly simple

    (1) printer is wired (Ethernet) to a classic Netgear router

    (2) I have two laptops (the two Dell laptps) that print (a Vista and a Win7) wireless to my router (and it allows access to the printer)

    (3) things worked pretty well, although I often had a message for the dialog box 'Printers and devices' under the State which is "error - printing". He would go from time to time, I would cancel the job and re - print and it would work. I would say that this was maybe 1-5 jobs on.

Earlier today, I printed a work without a problem, so I tried to print another short document. I get the message "error - printing". And now everything that I try to print creates this final result.  Things that which do not help.

    (1) restart my PC

    (2) print another document (a Wordpad doc with a single line)

    (3) print from another computer.

    (4) restart EVERYTHING (laptop, printer, router)-I also did a "hard restart" on the printer (unplugged) "

    5) re - defining the ethernet between my router and printer connectors

    (6) my PRINTERS folder is empty (thingey of print spooler)

    (7) the printer seems fine for purposes of printing information about the State of the control panel

    (8) I find the Guide of the curious user, especially in the context of things networking. I don't see even my configuration in the list, but I can't imagine it not supported (and it worked for a month). But I don't know enough to be able to understand what he said.

I have zero problems with internet traffic, BTW. Modem connection cable.

I did an IPCONFIG / renew, but this was not helpful.

My network is on zero. I can't even say the output of the IPCONFIG/All command, whether or not my printer is known to be connected to my router.

I don't know where I should look then (printer, router, computer laptop, combination, etc.). Suggestions?

    Thank you. ;

    Dave

I continued to dig into the manual, found a term that I had misunderstood (causing me to jump to the relevant section of the manual) and found a step that had to be done. And it is to disable WI - FI (I am connected to my router).

Of course I was not connected via WI - FI (stumbled upon some sort of problem with my firewall, so I just plugged the thing). And I have no idea why I went from "occasional failures" to "cannot print a single thing, darn" by doing nothing more than find and open a jpg file to print.

But I'm going to mark this one resolved, as I don't seem to be able to print again.

  • Problem on a Mac C6380 wireless connectivity

Last week, I bought Photosmart C6380 AiO and implemented with almost no problems at all. Then I started noticing the same question as others on this forum have experienced in this abandoned rnadomly conntection, which would be only seemed determined by power cycling the printer and the Mac. I have since tried to uninstall and re-install all software related and have even updated the Firmware to see if this solves the problem without having to turn everything off and then whenever I want to print.

The problem I have now is that I can't connect wireless to the printer AT ALL. I perfectly connects to the router and the wireless network Test report shows that everything seems to work fine, but then my Mac does not see it at all. The only small problem is that it is the address IP begins with 169.264, who, in another post about Wi-Fi-Guy here, says "but if it starts with 169.254 or 0, then we have another problem to deal with."

So, I wonder if anyone can help with what to do about it?

For now I'll have to work with a USB cable hanging out on my desk, that wasn't really the plan behind getting a wireless printer.

    Thank you.

    Will be

    Hardware and software configuration:

    -MacBook Pro OS X 10.5.7

    -Linksys WAG54G2

I knew that it would be something really simple and obvious that I would not do. Thanks much for that! I ran a few tests that have been resulting in the printer and mac lose each other before, but good.

    Thanks again!

    Hello gerrie,.

What I would do is put off the printer and the router so

-essentially them turning off for about 10-15 seconds

-and then feed the router back on waiting for all the lights turn on completely

    - and after that is back in the market I would re - turn on the printer and re-establish the connection between the printer and wireless network
