Failure of the Windows Launcher

I recently bought a copy of Command and Conquer 4.  It installs without any problem.  However, when I try to play the game, I get an error message saying that the Launcher has encountered a problem.  I am at a loss to know what to do.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times and have communicated with the support of the environmental assessment.  I still can't run.  Any help would be appreciated.

seen tonight on a post.

  1. First of all, I have disabled the internet connection through the network connection setting.
  2. After that, I turned off the anti-virus software running on my computer.
  3. Then I tried to launch the game and surprisingly the SEOtoolkit and I have palyed with no error.

Then also watch this.

  • Failure of the Windows Configuration when performing disk recovery system.

    I have a HP Pavilion model: A6838F product number: NC839AA #ABA, Serial #{removed privacy}, BIOS: V5.36 12/01/09

    The drive has been recently replaced by a 750 GB Hitachi PN. 0F131179, SN. 5V06D3ZL

    750 GB MLC:MRS5Q0 FW:5 Q 0 LBA:1.465.149.168 sectors CHS: 16383/16/63

    New recovery discs were recently acquired by HP PN. 530238-001 build ID: 92NAv6PrA2, which corresponds to the identifier of the version on the sticker at the bottom of the CPU.

    The recovery disks starts as expected and ran through all three discs and ask to remove then restarted the system and continued the installation. Everything seemed to work as expected until the part of the process where it indicates that the process is to configure windows for my computer - "Please wait while windows configures your computer." follow-up by "end of installing windows... installation." and so on...

    After a while, the system displays a window indicating "Installation of Windows could not configure windows to run on this hardware of computers". It seems that the system is built almost and you have to configure windows, but he can't. Attempts to start the drive puts me in the loop where the system tries to configure Windows and fails.

    I need help on this last hurdle. Suggestions?

    After a lot of trial, tribulation and persistence, I found the solution to this problem. Hope it helps shorten the process of troubleshooting for someone else.

  • Muse of blocks - Where is the Love? Failures of the app launching & database errors

    I really love Adobe Muse but I'm really frustrated by its instability.

    There are two general issues that I still feel.

    Launch of application issues

    First of all, and is a problem that I feel at this moment, a launch error where the program refuses to open and display an error message then crashes immediately.

    Today's message is:

    Screen Shot 2015-01-18 at 5.08.10 PM.png

    Someone has experienced this before or have a solution? I'm tired of signing in and out creative clouds and uninstall then reinstall Adobe Muse and same problem.

    Errors in the data / backup file errors

    I can usually wait a muse, save the file to become unusable for some sort of error of random database totally ruin my save file to me to have to take back to one, I already saved. Like the wii brought loading time in a serious way that adobe Muse brings incremental return record we WOULD abandon all practices.

    Why it sucks

    I don't do web development high-end, but I offer basic sites to customers with simple needs and I find Muse a delicious product given my skills and base in photoshop.

    Not being able to update sites or launch the application at all is SUPER annoying.

    It certainly justifies NOT using Adobe Muse for complex sites.

    If there is a general approach that I can take to avoid these problems, I'm all eyes and fingers.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    Solution for "incompatibility of Üser ID.

    Please the following steps and you'll be all set.

    1. disconnect Muse by going to help > log out. (if you see the option to do so)

    2 disconnect from the creative Application of cloud. (Steps are mentioned in the link disconnect, sign in |) Creative Office Cloud app), then quit the Application in creative cloud.

    3 Rename the folder "OOBE" to "OOBEold".

    MAC: (This file can be found at Finder > go > go to folder > enter ~/library/application support/Adobe > press return)

    Widows: (This file can be found at C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe )

    4 restart the Muse, sign in with your Adobe ID

    Suggestion for the database error:

    Is the file that is saved on the local or a network drive or a direct external location Dropbox or Google Reader.

    Please move the file to the desktop and then try to save the file after making a few changes. I hope that you will get no error.

    If you get the error please correct the error screenshot part.

    Hello

    running an application on a device of Momentis just doesn't work. Here's what I did:

    -downloaded and installed Momentics

    -downloaded and installed 10.2 API level (target device is a Z10)

    -created a new BlackBerry in Momentics application from the simpler model 'Hello World '.

    -a ran deploymend debugging wizard token, installed on the device

    -device is connected via USB, Momentics shows me a green light to the USB

    -Click on 'run '.

    The build process works very well, and then wake up the unit (so something's happening on the device), then Momentics fails with the following message is displayed:

    ---

    Error in the final launch sequence

    Impossible to prepare and upload the binary file

    result::Failure 500 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in position 111: ordinal not in range (128)

    I tried this on a Windows computer as follows:

    -Win 7

    -Momentics 2.1.1 build 201411071638

    -target Z10 with OS 10.2.2.984 device

    And I tried it also on a Mac with the latest Mac OS and Momentics newest and the same device. With exactly the same result and same error message.

    I made sure that the architecture is set to 'activation' in the run configuration.

    I am a bit confused what I did wrong because I just downloaded the IDE, SDK, connected to the device, installed the debugging token (the device is in developer mode) and try to run an application. It really should work, no?

    The problem is resolved. The cause was an umlaut in the name of the author in the certicate used by the debugging token.

However, I was given the opportunity to phone, but received no phone #. I bought the DVD of Windows 7 and installed on the PC that was custom built for me.  On the site Web microsoft help and support, I was asked for the product ID, which according to them is a # 20 numbers.  Not the only one, I have is the product key which is one 25-alpha-numeric.  I tried to enter only and does not pass.  This is why I say that I can pay for help since I did not ' have the product ID.  Maybe it isn't your area of expertise, Irfan, but I was hoping... I re - install windows on last April when I got in trouble and probably did not re - activate? What do you think?  If you can get back on track, I would be very grateful and thank you once again to be a big help!

  • "Database corrupt installation" - discovered after failures repeat the installation of automatic updates of Windows

    We're running out of WinXP SP3.  Apparently, we are unable to install/uninstall anything correctly.  I think it may have something to do with "a basic installation damaged."  I got this error when trying to manually install KB972581 (a security update for 2007 Microsoft Office System).  This could have been caused by running the Windows Installer cleanup utility, I didn't have problems with Office 2007.  We were informed at all by continuing to upgrade with another program issues.

    We daily use Outlook 2007.  Multiple users, so we can't delete it.

    Same thing with KB970895 (update of security for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2) - another failure with the description of the error "Unable to install Windows Installer MSP file".

    Basically, the automatic updates of Windows always fail.  Comprehensive research of these forums, I found and ran the Microsoft FixIt! # 50202, without result.

    How can I fix anything that makes things installation fails?

    I had a similar problem - resolved two things actually. First make sure yu have the latest windows installer engine. Then download the package fails and run interactive mode. This will give you the 'real' error which causes the failure so that you can correct it.

    In my case it was a dependency on another file system that was resolved by running sfc/scannow - it's maybe not the question you... once again, run the full installation package and also to enablehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/223300 logging to track down issues...

    Hi Bobby Collas,.

    You must have a copy of the installation CD without which you can not re - install the OS again.

    If it were an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) installation, you can restore the factory settings. Contact the manufacturer to do the same.

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
