False updates?

My update history does not show all windows updates I have downloaded it, they have been updated to false?

A few moments ago, my computer was affected by Antimalware doctor virus.  A few days ago the yellow shield update in my taskbar has prompted me to get updates for my system (I don't remember exactly what are updates or their code).  When I looked at the specific updates even if they are links to the Web pages they display:

http://www.Microsoft.com/technet/security/advisory/2524375.mspx

http://www.Microsoft.com/technet/security/advisory/973811.mspx

Now when I go to the Microsoft Update page and revise my story of updated, these updates are not present, or are present beyond those I got recently about Microsoft Security Essentials updates.

What does that say that I still have a problem with my PC?

HI T.Young,

1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

2. do you have security software installed on the computer?

Check under the updates installed if you find these updates listed.

(a) open Add or remove programs.

(b) at the top right, select the Show updates check box. All installed updates appear at the top of your list of programs.

If the previous step fails then I would suggest that reset you the Windows Update components by default and then try to install the update.

How to reset the Windows Update components?

    who says
    Firefox needs to update immediately!

    Your version of Firefox (18.0) is vulnerable and needs to be updated.

    Attack pages are trying to install programs that steal private information, use your computer for other attacks, or damage your system.

    Some attack pages intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.

    And has normal warn box upward. but note the web address
    http://momtoypicks.com/update.html

    Hello, yes it's a phishing tactic that tries to trick you into installing malicious software, in order to not download or run this kind of stuff! updates are managed automatically by firefox, so you don't have to download anything.

    You can also run a full scan of your system with software security already in place and the various tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & kaspersky security scan to make sure there isn't already a kind of active malware on your system that triggers these false alerts.

    Fix Firefox problems caused by malicious software

    You can also help by pressing F10 & will help > report false web while you are on this questionable page - this might get the page in the list of malicious sites that crash in firefox (the list is maintained by google) or when these pages use the firefox logos or trademarks to encourage users to download malicious software you could also send it to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/legal/fraud-report/.

  • Csrss.exe generates false updates from MS word

    In general, 15 minutes after a system restart, a popup opens to tell me that an update is available in Word. Following the process in the Task Manager, I find that it is csrss.exe which is causing the issue. If I close the popup via the Task Manager it doesn't happen until the next reboot, and even not by clicking ok in the pop-up window seems do nothing (I followed the tasks Manager). How can I go to get rid of this problem?

    Windows 7, usually last updated I think.

    I get a random BSOD once in a while (maybe every month 2-4), which I always thought was my motherboard having problems and spoil, but perhaps this is too much. I've upgraded my PC to sleep most of the time rather than stop it.

    - And your protection to the real-time AV program is...?

    -What anti-malware scanners have tried so far to confirm that it is a malware related issue?

    Following the process in the Task Manager, I find that it is csrss.exe which is causing the issue.

    How do you determine this? Could you please elaborate more. Where is it located? Have you looked up in msconfig for a 'false' startup program?

    The file real csrss.exe is located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. In other cases, csrss.exe is a virus, spyware, Trojan or worm which should not be confused with the C:\Windows\System32\csrss.exe legitimate.

    Suggest that you scan the PC using some (or all) of the following free anti-malware tools:

    - ESET Online Scanner

    - Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Free Edition ONLY! ) Not the trial version - not the Premium version). To do this, you must 'uncheck' > 'enable the free trial version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware bonus '.

    - HitmanPro3 (free license - 30 days).

    I get a random BSOD once in a while (maybe every 2-4 months)...

    The course of behavior unacceptable:(dont vous devez prendre soin de l'ASAP.)

  • May have been wrong to accept the false update yesterday 08/20/11 How can I determine if false update has been installed?

    I was working today on our old XP, Firefox update failed because it was a trick. Yesterday a Firefox updated was approved on our laptop (Vista). How know if we ourselves have infected? Thank you.

    Do not worry. The message "something tried to trick Firefox" is just poorly written. This simply means that Firefox did not verify the certificate of the update and as a result has not installed. Other discussions on this message seem to suggest that this happens quite often and is not, in fact, an indication of "something try to trick Firefox", but a failure of Firefox itself.

    If the update has been installed on the second time, so this time that he managed to check the certificate, as well as the update is ok.

  • How to get rid of a search not intentionally installed "tab" to update the new version of Java JRE?

    Since Oracle surprisingly quickly announced an update of Java JRE (7.11 update), Jan 14, available todag I install naturally. Despite being very careful with all unwanted program providers are trying to impose on the innocent user, I always have a f * ck * thing-same to tab search ng in my line of tabs. I don't want or need, and it occupies valuable space. The evil rats who created this stinky sh * t were very careful hide all the simple ways of removing - it is not (as far as I can see) are everywhere in my lists of Add-ons or extensions. I tried to watch: config, but I am totally inexperianced with this and do not dare to change: in fact, I can't find anything usable.

    Anyone who has a suggestion how to get rid of that junk qualified? My FF is the Swedish version, that's why I stuck with raw data in the troubleshooting information. If there is a possibility here to add a screenshot of the thing, I would have.

    The tab looks like the image below? If so, did you not as a Java Update. Have you downloaded the update of Java on the Java site or elsewhere? It was expected that some less honest people would provide false updates to Java. If it looks like the image below, follow these steps:

    1. With all browsers closed, in Control Panel > programs and features (or add / remove programs), if you see "Default tab" delete (you have no default tab 1.4.3 in the list of add-ons/prefs you have submitted with your question)
    2. Launch Firefox and check that 'Default tab' is not in the Add-ons > Extensions; If it is click on 'Remove' and then restart Firefox.
    3. You may need to set your homepage in Firefox, if a search page leading to 'Search results' or "My search results" is displayed at the start of Firefox - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/How%20to%20set%20the%20home%20page

    1. the present proceedings is a diagnostic test. It doesn't change anything for the better or worse and therefore, by itself, will not solve the problem. But with the help of the results of the tests, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.

    The test works on OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later versions. I do not recommend running it on older versions of Mac OS X. It will do no harm, but it will not do not much good.

    Do not be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You make the tasks more complicated with the computer all the time.

    2. If you do not already have a current backup, please back up all the data before doing anything else. The backup is needed on the general principle, not because of what anyone in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you encounter any kind of problems with the computer, you can be more than the usual loss of data, if you follow these instructions or risk not.

    There are ways to back up a computer that is not fully functional. Ask if you need advice.

    3 here is instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it doesn't change anything. It does not send or receive data over the network. There is no to generate a report on the State of the computer human readable. This report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can act on it yourself without disclosing the contents for me or someone else.

    You should ask yourself if you can believe me, and if it is safe to run a program at the request of a foreign national. In general, no, he's not sure, and I encourage it.

    In this case, however, there are ways for you to decide if the program is safe without having to trust me. First of all, you can read it. Unlike an application that download you and click to start, it is transparent, so any person with the required competence can check what it does.

    You may not be able to understand the script yourself. But variations of it have been posted on this site of thousands of times over a period of years. The site is hosted by Apple, which does not allow it to be used to distribute harmful software. One of the million registered users to have read the script and set off the alarm if it was dangerous. Then I wouldn't be here now, and you would not be reading this message. See, e.g., this discussion.

    Another indication that the test is safe in this threadand this onecan be found, for example, where the comment in which I suggested it was recommended by one of the specialists of the communityApple, as explained here.

    However, if you cannot satisfy yourself that these instructions are safe, do not follow them. Ask other solutions.

    4. here is a general summary of what you need to do, if you decide to go forward:

    ☞ Copy a particular line of text to the Clipboard.

    ☞ Paste into the window to another application.

    ☞ Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.

    ☞ Stick the results, which will be copied automatically, in a response on this page.

    These are not specific instructions; just a glimpse. The details are in parts 7 and 8 of this comment. The sequence is: copy, paste, wait and paste it again. You don't need to copy a second time.

    5. try to test in conditions that replicate the problem, to the extent possible. For example, if the computer is slow intermittently, run the test during a downturn.

    You may have started up in safe mode. If the system is now in safe mode and works pretty well in normal mode to test run, restart as usual before running it. If you can test only in safe mode, this.

    6. If you have more than one user and a user is affected by the problem, and the user is not an administrator, and then run the test twice: once under the affected user and one administrator. The results can be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer, when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you are unable to log in as an administrator, verify that the user concerned. More personal Mac have only one user, and in this case this section does not apply. Don't log in as root.

    7 load the linked web page (the site "Pastebin.") The title of the page is 'Diagnostic Test'. Under the title is a text box, headed by three small icons. The right one represents a Clipboard. Click on this icon to select the text, then copy to the Clipboard of your computer by pressing Control-C key combination.

    If the text is not highlighted when you click the icon, select it in triple - click anywhere inside the box. Do not select the whole page, just the text in the box.

    8. start the Terminal application integrated in one of the following ways:

    ☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

    ☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

    ☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

    Click anywhere in the Terminal window to activate it. Paste from the Clipboard into the window by pressing Command + V, then press return. The text that you pasted should disappear immediately.

    9. If you see an error message in the Terminal as "Syntax error" or "Event not found", enter

    exec bash

    and press return. Then paste the script again.

    10. If you logged in as an administrator, you will be prompted for your login password. Nothing displayed when you type. You won't see the usual points instead of the characters typed. Make sure that caps lock is turned off. Type carefully, and then press return. You can get a warning to be careful. If you make three unsuccessful attempts to enter the password, the test is still running, but it will produce less information. If you do not know the password, or if you prefer not to enter, just press back three times at the password prompt. Yet once again, the script will run.

    If the test takes much longer that usual to run because the computer is very slow, you can be prompted for your password a second time. The permission you grant by entering it will expire automatically after five minutes.

    If you are not logged as an administrator, you will be prompted for a password. The test will run. It just will not do anything that requires administrator privileges.

    11. the test may take a few minutes to run, depending on the number of files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that is abnormally slow may take more time to run the test. During execution, a series of lines is displayed in the Terminal window like this:

        Test started
            Part 1 of 4 done at: … sec        …        Part 4 of 4 done at: … sec
        The test results are on the Clipboard.
        Please close this window.

    The intervals between the parties will not be exactly the same, but they give an approximate indication of progress.

    Wait for the final message "Please close this window" appears. If you don't see it in about 15 minutes, the test probably won't be all within a reasonable time. In this case, press the Ctrl + C key combination or the point command to stop it. Then go to the next step. You will have incomplete results, but still something. If you close the window of the Terminal, while the test is still running, the partial results will not be saved and you have to start over.

    12. when the test is finished, or if you have stopped it because it was taking too long, leaving the Terminal. The results have been saved to the Clipboard automatically. They do not appear in the Terminal window. Please do not copy from there. All you have to do is start a response to this comment and then paste it again by pressing Command-V.

    At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words «Start time.» If you do not see that, but rather to see a mass of gibberish, you wait for the message "close this window". Please wait and try again.

    If personal information, such as your name or e-mail address, appear in the results, make anonymous before posting. Usually it will be not necessary.

    13. in the validation of the results, you see an error message on the web page: "you have included content in your post that is not allowed", or "the message contains invalid characters." It's a bug in the software which manages this website. Thanks for posting the results of the tests on Pastebin, then post here a link to the page you created.

    If you have an account on Pastebin, please do not select private in exposure menu to paste on the page, because no one else that you will be able to see it.

    14. This is a public forum and others can give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak for themselves, not for me. The test itself is harmless, but what're told you to do maybe not. For others who choose to run it, I do not recommend that you view the results of test on this Web site unless I ask.

    Hello

    We are aware of this problem are trying to solve. From what you say, it's almost certainly malware.

    Firefox updates always go in the browser and not a random web page. If you still not sure if you are using the latest version, this page will guide you through the audit.

    If you see one of these false updates in response to this topic please post the web address of the orange page false and if possible the real Web site address it seems to come from the left arrow on the address bar of the orange page can sometimes help to find out who.

  • How to spot a fake Flash Updater?

    A few days ago, I have updated Flash Player on all my computers.

    Today at bowsing on a webserver which apparently was not using any Flash content

    a warning window comes on top of my work:Screen Shot 2014-07-10 at 14.17.15.png

    There is no mention of what version talks about this update.

    At the same time the range of low grade in the IMMA make me think about typical adware

    who try to take us to the navigation on the commercial web servers.

    I tend to think it's a more wrong Flash Updater.

    How can I determine if this Setup is real or fake?

    How can I quickly see the version of that this installer is speaking?

    How can I identify what source is this bleeding window?

    An update of Flash Player version was released two days ago: 14.0.0.145.

    However, I don't know how to identify false update notifications.

    Best way to avoid false updates is to manually download the update from the Adobe or Macromedia site: g http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player_osx.dm - this link always contains the latest available Installer.

  • procedure for updating records

    I want to write a procedure.

    I have directed that is created after an interface table. He has a * decode _status * column that has a value either 'P' or 'NP '.
    Now I reprocess all records with 'NP' and update status using another table DECODE

    Staging table and decode table has a relationship.

    Put in scene table has columns SNO and SCODE where as DECODE table has columns SERIAL_NO and CODE

    Now. I have a join here staged. SNO = DECODE. SERIAL_NO. By using this join I get SCODE value as being code.

    Now can you please tell me how to upgrade these files which have 'NP' as DECODE_STATUS.

    I'm writing a procedure that gives me an error.

    Start
    so that S.DECODE_STATUS = 'NP'
    loop
    update of staging all SCODE = (case when (SNO) in (select S.SNO SCENE S layout, DECODER D WHERE D.SERIAL_NO = S.SNO) THEN D.CODE)
    OTHERWISE NULL TERMINATOR)

    It is ok for the source and target are the same.

    Do drag your staging tables and DECODE in the source of the interface box.
    Join the two tables on STAGING.sno = DECODE.serial_no
    Apply a filter to the table of staging STAGING.decode_status = 'NP '.

    In the target box, drag the staging table.
    Map the fields you want to update, as well as the join (serial_no) field

    In KM controls, select INSERT = FALSE & UPDATE = TRUE

    When you run this interface, ODI fills a flow table with the results of the join logic and source table filter (i.e. those which records where decode_status = 'NP'). It will then update the table setting with these results.

  • Only get information update for PES 9 but using PES 10

    I installed PES 10 a few months previously, after using the version track PES 9 (which was updated during the trial period). I have never notified of updates at 10 PES, although I get notifications for PES 9. I can see in the Manager of Adobe applications and through updates in 'aid' in PES 10.

    If I choose to update, I just be given the opportunity to update the version 9 of PES - which I removed from my system (at least I think I have).

    Can anyone suggest why this is happening, please?

    Either way, I also LR4 and CS6 installed and they update with no problems.

    Stephen

    Well, you removed the right way, and you are up-to-date for the EP raw right now. There are things you could do to eliminate any trace of PES 9 out in the update, but it is a tedious process and would imply to remove and reinstall all of your adobe products. Me, I live with the false update message.

  • @ManyToOne(optional=false) and @JoinColumn (nullable = false) does not work

    Hello

    This is probably a question of amateur JPA please excuse me if I'm really naïve here.

    I got two objects of entity PixUser and Album [with 1-> M relationship]

    @Entity
    / public class PixUser implements Serializable {}
    ......
    @OneToMany (targetEntity = Album.class, mappedBy = "pixUser", cascade = CascadeType.ALL)
    The collection < Album > albums = new ArrayList < Album > ();
    .....
    }

    @Entity
    Album/public class implements Serializable {}
    ....
    @ManyToOne(fetch=FetchType.EAGER,optional=false)
    @JoinColumn (name = "PIXUSER_USERNAME", nullable = false, updatable = true)
    Private PixUser pixUser;
    .....
    }

    If I try and persist an Album object without putting the PixUser in the subject of the Album, according to my understanding it should give me an error that "it cannot be null for the ALBUM. The column PIXUSER_USERNAME"or something similar. But instead she creates a line in the database successfully.

    Code fragment:
    The album album = New Album ("My Album without a PixUser");
    albumRepository.persistAlbum (album);

    Newspaper clipping:
    [TopLink fine]: 2009.11.22 08:08:31.156 - ClientSession (4980331) - connection (19682353) - wire (wire [main, 5, main])-INSERT ATUL.     link = > [452: 2009-11-22 20:08:30.875, my Album without PixUser, null, null, null, null, null]

    Is this a bug or I misunderstood the use of the option & /or nullable correctly?

    Thank you
    Atul

    Hello

    The optional options and nullable are indications for the APP provider which are used during the generation DDL. TopLink Essentials is no not no matter what LENGTH validation and past rather through to the database to any set of rules it cause exceptions. This is not a bug but a design decision to reduce the amount of processing needed to be done at the level of the application on each data item. If you have nullable = false set when the database is created, you get an exception when a null value is inserted.

    Best regards

  • Firefox opens a web page to download the update to Firefox

    Firefox opens the yahoo.com homepage, but another tab open with FF color and the logo indicating to download this update to Firefox. https://oophig-tools.com/3571824514203/0a3f0fb3b55733687efd3c163838392c/b65d0c99f71438740adbe2e913464f86.html I checked the start page that is only Yahoo.com and I checked the addons and plugins that only has the correct plugins listed. I use Avast with Avast FF addon and Avast says the website is legitimate (LOL). The downloaded file is a JS file, and I did not download it.
