Family upgrade Windows 7 reactivation (Pack of 3)

Some time ago, I installed this software (Windows 7 Upgrade Family Pack 3) on 2 different computers.  However, these 2 computers have been rebuilt and upgraded with a full license of Windows 8.  Can I continue to use Windows 7 Upgrade family (3 Pack) on 3 different computers?  I would like to pass this software along to a friend because that I no longer use the license.

Thanks for the idea.

Yes, but given that the licenses were already in use, you should probably use the phone activation:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

(2) press the ENTER"" key.

(3) select your "country" in the list.

(4) choose the option "activate phone".

(5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

(6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

Please keep in mind, the Windows 7 Home Premium Family Pack upgrade is an upgrade license.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

I have the original disc of the product. It came as Windows XP SP1a. At in the past (a few years ago), I've upgraded to SP2. I started to receive a STOP error message. I tried to repair the installation of Windows XP Edition family. I can't say for sure right now, but it seems that SP2 just disappeared..., do not know immediately. I always face the STOP error.

When I get things and rerun, can I put SP1a directly to SP3? I don't know the rules relating to the upgrade.

Ask the same question in a different way..., can I've actually updated to SP3 Service Pack while jumping on SP2?

Windows XP Home Edition has always been easy to use. I wouldn't lose it.

The answer could be just a YES or a no thank you for your time.
